Website Maintenance Service Price in Bangladesh

A clear, line-by-line website maintenance service price in Bangladesh — so you know exactly what your monthly invoice covers and what it doesn't.

Most BD businesses get burned twice on maintenance: once when an agency disappears after launch, and again when a panicked freelancer charges 15,000 BDT to fix a plugin conflict at 2 a.m. My pricing is the opposite — one senior operator, one fixed monthly number, and a list of exactly which tasks are inside that number. No 'extras', no per-call billing for things that should be routine.

Why website maintenance pricing in Bangladesh is so confusing — and how I fix that

Ask three providers in Bangladesh for a website maintenance service price and you'll get three completely different numbers — 1,500 BDT a month from one shop, 8,000 from another, 35,000 from a third — with almost no overlap in what's actually included. The cheap quote usually means a junior runs WordPress core updates once and disappears; the expensive one usually means you're paying for an account manager you'll never meet. I built my pricing as the answer to that mess: one fixed monthly number, a written scope, and a real person you can WhatsApp when something breaks.

I'm RH Fardin — a solo website designer and developer in Bangladesh with around five years of building and maintaining live sites for BD businesses. Maintenance is the unglamorous half of this job, and it's where most agencies cut corners because they staff it with the most junior people. I run it personally for every client, which is why my pricing isn't the cheapest in the market — it's priced for the person who actually does the work to still want to do it well in month nine.

Two things shape the price you'll pay. First, what's on the site — a 12-page corporate brochure needs maybe an hour a month; a WooCommerce store with 400 SKUs, daily orders, and bKash/Nagad integrations is closer to four to six. Second, how fast you need things fixed — a 24-hour response SLA costs less than a 'fix it before tomorrow morning's launch' SLA. I quote both honestly, and I'll tell you when a plan is overkill for your situation.

Maintenance is also where I sometimes save clients real money. About a third of the websites I'm asked to take over in Bangladesh are running on hosting that's overpriced by 8,000-20,000 BDT per year, or paying for plugins they don't use. I audit that on day one, and the savings usually pay for several months of the maintenance plan itself.

What's included

What you actually get for the price

Every monthly plan is a written scope, not a vague promise. Here's what's inside the line items most BD providers conveniently leave out of their quotes.

01

Real Monthly Backups

Full site + database backups stored off your server, with a one-click restore plan I've actually tested. Not the 'check the box in cPanel and hope' version most BD shops sell.

02

Security & Updates

WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates done on a staging copy first so your live site doesn't go down mid-update. Includes malware scans and login hardening against the brute-force bots hammering every BD site.

03

Uptime Monitoring

Your site is pinged every minute from outside Bangladesh, so if it goes down at 3 a.m. I know before your customer does. SMS or WhatsApp alert to me, then a fix or a clear explanation to you.

04

Content Edits Included

A defined number of small content changes per month — price updates, new staff photo, blog post upload, a new product — included in the base price instead of billed as 'extras' like most BD agencies do.

05

Speed & Health Checks

Quarterly PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals review with a written report in plain Bangla-English. If something's slowed down since launch, I tell you why and what to do about it.

06

Hosting & Domain Review

Yearly audit of what you're paying for hosting, domain renewal, SSL, and plugin licences. Many BD clients are overpaying by 10,000+ BDT a year — I find it and either renegotiate or migrate.

In focus

What actually drives the price of website maintenance in Bangladesh

The maintenance number on your invoice is mostly a function of four things: site complexity, traffic, response speed, and how much content work is bundled in. A static 8-page corporate site with no logins and 200 visitors a month is genuinely cheap to maintain — I can keep it healthy in under an hour, so a 3,000-6,000 BDT/month plan is fair.

A WooCommerce store running daily transactions through bKash, Nagad, and cash-on-delivery is a different animal: payment gateways update, courier APIs change, plugins fight each other, and an order failure costs real money — that site needs 8,000-15,000 BDT/month minimum to be done properly. A custom web app with user accounts, dashboards, and integrations sits higher again, in the 18,000-35,000 BDT/month range, because problems there need a developer, not a maintainer.

The other big driver is response time, and this is where BD providers play games. A '24-hour business-day' response is honest and cheap; a 'critical issue within 2 hours, 24/7' SLA costs more because someone has to actually be on call — including during Eid, weekends, and at 11 p.m. when your ad campaign just went live. When I quote you, I'll ask what your real downtime tolerance is and price the tier you actually need.

A small restaurant's site doesn't need the same SLA as a 50,000-order/month ecommerce store, and I won't sell you the expensive one if the cheap one fits. The minimum project engagement on my side is 50,000 BDT (build floor); maintenance plans are billed monthly on top of that, with the first month often included free on builds I've launched myself.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions BD business owners ask me most when they're comparing website maintenance service price quotes.

Website maintenance koto taka per month in Bangladesh?

Honest range for properly-done maintenance in BD: 3,000-6,000 BDT/month for a simple brochure site, 8,000-15,000 BDT/month for a WooCommerce store, and 18,000-35,000 BDT/month for a custom web app or high-traffic site. Below 2,500 BDT/month, somebody is cutting corners — usually backups, staging, or actually responding when things break.

Do I have to pay the 50,000 BDT project floor if I only want maintenance?

No. The 50,000 BDT minimum is for new builds, not maintenance plans. If you already have a website and just want me to take it over and maintain it, we start with a one-time audit (10,000-20,000 BDT depending on site size) and then a monthly maintenance plan. The audit gets you a written report you keep either way.

Why is your price higher than the 1,500 BDT/month shops I see on Facebook?

Because at 1,500 BDT/month nobody can afford to actually do the work — that price covers maybe one plugin-update click per month and an auto-reply when you email at midnight. My pricing includes tested backups, staging updates, monitoring, real response time, and content edits. The cheap plans become expensive the first time your site goes down before a campaign launches.

What's NOT included in the maintenance price?

Anything that's really a new build, not maintenance: a new page design, a redesigned homepage, a new feature, a new integration, or a custom plugin. Those get a separate fixed quote so you know what you're agreeing to. Content edits over the monthly allowance, hosting fees, domain renewals, and paid plugin licences are also outside the plan but I'll itemise all of them in the proposal.

Can I pay monthly through bKash or Nagad?

Yes. Monthly maintenance invoices can be paid via bKash, Nagad, bank transfer, or card — your choice. For build projects the 50% advance / 50% on launch terms apply, but recurring maintenance is straightforward monthly billing on the same date each month.

What happens if I want to cancel the maintenance plan?

Month-to-month, no long lock-in. You give me 30 days' notice and we wrap up cleanly — I hand over current backups, document the hosting and login credentials, and make sure you (or whoever takes over) aren't left guessing. I'd rather you leave well than stay annoyed.
