Hospital Website Development BD

Most hospital websites in Bangladesh are a PDF of the brochure stuck behind a slow loader. A patient with chest pain at 11pm doesn't want your mission statement - they want the emergency number, the location, and a doctor's schedule. I build hospital websites that answer those three things in five seconds, then make the rest easy.

One senior developer, ~5 years building sites in BD. 50% advance, 50% on launch. You approve the design before I write a line of production code.

Built for how patients actually search

A hospital site is a triage desk, not a brochure

Here is what actually happens. A family member gets sick, someone grabs a phone, types the hospital name plus "doctor list" or "appointment" into Google, and lands on your site over a 4G connection in a moving CNG. If your homepage shows a 3MB hero banner of the building before anything useful loads, they've already tapped back and called the hospital down the road. Hospital web design in BD lives or dies on that first five seconds, and almost nobody builds for it.

I design the whole thing around the questions patients ask in order: Is this the right hospital for my problem? Which doctor, and when do they sit? How do I reach you and where are you? What does it cost? A good hospital website bd surfaces the department, the doctor's consultation days and times, a clickable phone number, and a Google Map pin before a visitor has to think. Everything else - your accreditations, your equipment, your history - comes after, because that's the order trust gets built in a medical decision.

The doctor directory is where these projects usually fall apart, so I treat it as the core feature, not an afterthought. Doctors join, leave, change their OPD days, go on leave, switch chambers. If updating that means emailing a developer every week, the list goes stale in a month and patients show up for a doctor who isn't there - which is exactly the kind of thing that ends up as an angry Facebook post. I build it so your front-desk or marketing person can edit doctors, schedules, and departments themselves, from a phone, without touching code.

I'm one person and I build the entire site myself - design, development, the appointment form, the doctor database, the speed work. No agency handing your project to a junior who's never thought about how a worried patient uses a phone. You talk to the person doing the work, and when something on the site needs fixing at an awkward moment, you're not waiting in a support queue behind fifty other tickets.

What's included

What a serious hospital website actually needs

Not animations and stock photos of smiling doctors. The features that turn a search into a patient walking through your door - or at least picking up the phone.

01

Doctor directory

A searchable list of doctors by department, specialty, and OPD day, with consultation times and chamber location. Patients find the right person fast instead of calling reception to ask.

02

Self-edit schedules

Your staff add or remove doctors and update OPD timings from a phone, no developer needed. The schedule stays accurate, so patients stop turning up for a doctor on leave.

03

Tap-to-call emergency

Emergency and ambulance numbers pinned where a panicked person finds them instantly, clickable on mobile so one tap dials. This is the single most-used thing on a hospital site.

04

Appointment requests

A short booking form that sends the request straight to your desk by email or directly into WhatsApp, so nobody has to babysit a dashboard. No clunky portal patients abandon halfway.

05

Loads on 4G

Built light so the homepage opens in a few seconds on a mid-range phone and patchy mobile data - how most of your patients actually arrive. Slow sites lose them before the first screen.

06

Found on Google

Clean structure for departments, doctors, and services so you rank when people search your specialty plus their city. Built so Google understands what each page is for.

In focus

The doctor schedule is the whole game

Ask any hospital marketing person what breaks first on their website and they'll tell you: the doctor list. A cardiologist shifts his OPD from Sunday to Tuesday, nobody tells the developer, and for the next three weeks patients book trips across town for a Sunday consultation that no longer exists. Multiply that by forty doctors and you have a website that's actively lying to the people you most want to help. That's not a content problem - it's a tooling problem, and it's the one I design around from day one.

So I build the schedule as a real database your own team controls, not a static page I have to touch every time something changes. Front desk can add a new doctor, mark someone on leave, update consultation fees, or move an OPD day from their phone in under a minute - the kind of thing that matters when a doctor texts at 9am that he can't sit today. Patients see live, correct information; your staff stop fielding the same "is Dr. so-and-so available today?" call fifty times a day; and the website earns trust instead of burning it. When this one system works, the rest of the hospital website does its job.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions hospital administrators and clinic owners actually ask before they hire me.

Hospital website development koto taka pore?

It starts at 50,000 BDT, and the three standard tiers are 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT depending on how many features you need - a small clinic site sits at the lower end, a multi-department hospital with a full doctor directory and appointment system lands higher. A large custom build with deep integrations starts from 3,00,000 BDT. Terms are 50% advance, 50% on launch, and you can pay the advance by bKash or Nagad.

Can our front-desk staff update the doctor list themselves?

Yes - this is the point. I build the doctor directory and OPD schedule so your own people add, edit, or remove doctors and change consultation times from a phone, no coding and no calling me. I'll walk your team through it after launch so it actually gets used.

Do you build online appointment booking?

Yes. I usually build a clean appointment-request form that sends the booking straight to your reception by email or pushes it into WhatsApp, which is what most BD hospitals actually want - it fits how staff already work. If you need a full slot-based booking system with doctor-wise time slots, that's a custom build and we'll scope it together.

Will the website work properly on mobile and slow internet?

It's built mobile-first and kept light on purpose, because nearly all your patients arrive on a phone, often on patchy 4G. The pages a worried family needs - emergency number, doctor schedule, location - load in a few seconds even on a mid-range device, not after a heavy banner finishes.

Can patients pay or recharge through the site with bKash or Nagad?

For most hospitals I keep payment offline - patients pay at the counter - and use the site to bring them in. If you genuinely need online payment, like advance booking fees through bKash or Nagad, that's possible but it's a custom feature starting from 3,00,000 BDT, since it needs a payment gateway and proper handling. I'll tell you honestly whether you need it.

How long does a hospital website take to build?

A standard hospital website bd is usually ready in roughly three to five weeks, depending on how fast I get your doctor list, department details, and content. The biggest delay is almost always waiting on the doctor data from your side - if that's ready, we move quickly. You approve the design first, before any production work starts.
