The standard pitch in Bangladesh sounds great until renewal day. You see hosting advertised at 1,500 BDT per year, you pay it, and twelve months later the invoice arrives at 4,500 BDT — sometimes higher — because that first price was a launch offer, not the real rate. The domain does the same thing: 800 BDT in year one, 1,400 BDT after. By the time you notice, your site, your email and your DNS records all live there and switching feels expensive.
I work the opposite way. Before you pay me anything, you see a one-page sheet: what the domain costs at the registrar, what the hosting plan costs every year going forward, what SSL and business email cost, and what the website build itself costs. No discount that disappears, no introductory rate that resets. A .com sits around 1,100-1,400 BDT per year at fair registrars; .com.bd has BTCL fees on top. I quote the year-two rate, not just year one, so the renewal does not surprise you.
A 5-page brochure site does not need the same plan as a WooCommerce catalog with 400 SKUs. I match the plan to the build instead of upselling a tier you will never fill.
Free Let's Encrypt SSL is fine for almost every BD business site and I configure it for you. You do not need the 8,000 BDT 'premium SSL' the reseller is pushing.

Where it gets more expensive is the moment the site is doing real work. An ecommerce store taking 300+ orders a month on WooCommerce wants managed WordPress hosting in the 18,000-35,000 BDT per year range — the cheap shared plans will buckle under the cart and checkout queries. A .com.bd domain via BTCL costs more than a .com and has more paperwork. And if you need a dedicated business email setup with Google Workspace for a team of five, add roughly 3,000 BDT per user per year.
