The usual domain and hosting price in Bangladesh sounds great until renewal day. You see hosting for 1,500 BDT per year, and you pay it. Twelve months later, the invoice says 4,500 BDT, sometimes more. That first price was a launch offer, not the real rate.
The domain does the same thing: 800 BDT in year one, then 1,400 BDT after that. By the time you notice, your site, your email and your DNS records all live with that host. Moving away now feels expensive, so most owners just pay.
I work the other way. Before you pay me anything, you see a one-page sheet. It shows what the domain costs at the registrar and what the hosting plan costs every year from now on. It also lists SSL, business email and the website build. No discount that disappears. No intro rate that resets.

Costs rise once the site does real work. A WooCommerce store with 300+ orders a month needs managed WordPress hosting. That costs about 18,000 to 35,000 BDT per year. Cheap shared plans buckle under cart and checkout load. A .com.bd domain through BTCL costs more than a .com and needs more paperwork.
Google Workspace email for a team of five adds about 3,000 BDT per user per year. I tell you which tier you need before you pay. That way you do not pay store prices for a brochure site. You also do not run a real store on a 4,000-taka shared plan that crashes during Eid week.

Because the first-year price was a promo rate. Many BD resellers advertise 1,500 BDT hosting and 800 BDT .com domains for year one. Then they renew at 3,500 to 4,500 BDT and 1,400 BDT. It is legal, since it is buried in the terms. It is also the most common complaint I hear. I quote you the long-term price up front.
Use .com if your buyers can be anywhere online, including overseas. Use .com.bd if you want stronger local trust and your buyers are only in Bangladesh. A .com.bd costs more and needs BTCL paperwork. Its renewals also need a bit more care. Many of my clients run both, with .com.bd sending visitors to .com. I set that up at launch.
