Maintenance, not lip service
The Boring Work That Quietly Saves Your Business
Most BD businesses only think about website maintenance the day something goes wrong — a WooCommerce checkout starts throwing errors, the WordPress admin says "There has been a critical error on this website," or a customer messages your Facebook page asking why the site is showing a white screen on their Symphony phone. By then you are paying for emergency work, lost orders and a stressful evening, all at once. A proper maintenance plan is much cheaper than one bad outage.
I treat website maintenance the way a good landlord treats a building: small fixes early, scheduled checks, nothing left to rot. Plugin and theme updates done in a staging copy first — not pushed live and prayed over. Daily or weekly backups stored off the server so a hacked site or a wrong click does not erase a year of work. Security hardening, SSL renewals, expired domain reminders, broken link scans, simple speed checks on real Bangladeshi 4G — the unglamorous things that decide whether your site keeps making money.
Because I am one person, you do not get bounced between a "support team," a "developer" and an "account manager" who all forget what you said last week. You message me, I see the message, I either fix it or tell you honestly when I can. No ticket numbers, no "sir please wait for our reply within 48-72 hours." If something genuinely needs deeper work outside your monthly hours, I quote it before doing it — you never get a surprise invoice.
Most of my maintenance clients started as build clients — they used the 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT tiers or a custom 3,00,000 BDT+ project and simply continued with a monthly care plan after launch. But I also take on rescue cases — sites built by an old agency or freelancer who has gone quiet, sites stuck on outdated WordPress, sites with mysterious admin logins no one remembers. I will audit honestly and tell you what is worth saving and what is cheaper to rebuild.
