Website Maintenance Service in Dhaka

Your site does not break on a schedule. So someone has to watch it.

A senior-run website maintenance service in Dhaka for owners who would rather not learn what a PHP fatal error is at 11 PM. Updates, backups, security, speed and the small content edits you keep meaning to do — handled quietly so your site keeps earning while you run the business.

One operator, direct WhatsApp, Dhaka time. ~5 years building and babysitting WordPress and WooCommerce sites. Builds from 50,000 BDT; maintenance quoted separately, billed in BDT.

Who is actually watching your site right now

In Dhaka, the site is fine until the exact moment it is very much not fine

Here is the version that plays out in a Gulshan or Banani office a dozen times a year. A salesperson is mid-pitch, opens the company site on their phone to show a client, and gets a blank white page or a 'database connection error.' Or the WooCommerce checkout silently stops talking to bKash the afternoon before a campaign and nobody notices until the orders that should be coming in simply are not. Or someone in Search Console sees a red 'Deceptive site ahead' warning because a plugin nobody had updated in a year got exploited over the weekend. None of these are rare. They are the normal failure pattern of a Dhaka business website that nobody is actively maintaining.

I am RH Fardin, a website designer and developer working solo in Bangladesh for about five years, and I run a website maintenance service in Dhaka for owners who are done with that pattern. A maintenance plan with me is not a vague monthly retainer with 'support' written on it. It is a defined routine: updates tested on a staging copy before they touch your live site, off-site backups that I have actually test-restored, security scans, uptime monitoring that pings your site from outside Bangladesh, and a sensible monthly allowance for the small edits a Dhaka business always needs — a new price list, an Eid offer banner, a new branch address in Uttara.

Because I am one senior operator, the chain is short. The person who reads the downtime alert is the same person who opens your hosting cPanel, the same person you have on WhatsApp, and — if you let me build or audit it first — the same person who knows exactly which plugin is the troublemaker. There is no help-desk junior reading a script, no ticket bouncing between a 'level one' and a 'level two,' no account manager promising to escalate. You message, I log in, I fix it. That directness is the entire point of hiring a person instead of a faceless 'website maintenance service' in Dhaka.

I will also be honest about what maintenance is worth. It is unglamorous and you will rarely see the work, which is exactly why it is the first thing Dhaka owners cut and the first thing they regret cutting. A neglected site here decays fast: shared local hosting, an audience on mid-range Androids and patchy mobile data, payment gateways that push breaking updates, and a Google that quietly drops a slow, untouched site three positions overnight. I would much rather charge you a fair monthly fee than watch a six-month gap in attention turn into a 1,50,000 BDT rebuild of a site you already paid for.

What's included

What a monthly maintenance plan actually covers

No 'support package' fog. These are the concrete things I do so a Dhaka business site stays fast, safe and online — and the small jobs you stop having to chase me for.

01

Staged updates

WordPress core, theme and every plugin updated on a staging copy first, then checked on your live home page, checkout and contact form before going public. No white screen ambushing you on a Thursday evening.

02

Backups that restore

Daily database and weekly full-site backups stored off your hosting account — not just on the same cPanel that could die with the site. I test-restore one every quarter so you have a working copy, not a folder of files.

03

Security watch

Weekly malware scans, login hardening against the brute-force attempts every Bangladesh-hosted site gets, and file-integrity checks. I catch and clean an infection before customers ever see a Google warning page.

04

Downtime alerts to me

Your site is pinged every minute from outside Bangladesh. If it goes down at 3 AM in Dhanmondi, the alert reaches my phone, not your angry customer. You hear about most outages after I have already fixed them.

05

Real content edits

A monthly allowance for the small jobs: a new price, a swapped banner, a fresh product, a Pohela Boishakh or Eid offer, an updated phone number. Reasonable edits are included, not billed as separate 'tickets.'

06

Domain, SSL, gateway

I track your .com.bd or .com renewal so the site does not vanish over an unpaid fee, keep SSL valid, and watch that bKash, Nagad or SSLCommerz integrations still fire after their updates. The boring stuff that kills sales when it slips.

In focus

Maintenance versus an emergency call: the math no Dhaka owner runs until it is too late

Most Dhaka businesses do not pay for maintenance — they pay for emergencies, and emergencies are far more expensive than they look. Picture a typical WooCommerce store run out of an office in Mirpur or Mohammadpur. The site goes down on a Friday night in the middle of a Facebook ad push. The agency that built it is unreachable, the 'Facebook guy' who was charging 1,500 BDT a month has gone quiet, and the owner is messaging strangers at midnight.

By the time someone logs in on Saturday, the store has lost a day and a half of paid-traffic sales, the ad budget burned on a dead landing page, and a few hundred customers who clicked, saw nothing load, and went to a competitor instead. The actual repair might be a twenty-minute plugin rollback. The cost of not having anyone watching is everything that happened in the eighteen hours before that twenty minutes.

A maintenance arrangement flips that math. The same plugin conflict gets caught on staging before it ever reaches your live store, or the uptime monitor pings me within a minute and I roll back from a verified backup before your morning customers arrive.

That is the whole pitch for a website maintenance service in Dhaka, and it is why I only maintain sites I have either built myself or audited in full first — when I already know your theme, your plugins, your hosting and your DNS, a fix that would take an unfamiliar developer half a day takes me minutes, and I am not charging you to go exploring. If I built your site, there is no setup fee on maintenance.

If you are bringing me a site someone else built, I do a one-time paid audit first and tell you honestly whether it is healthy enough to maintain cheaply, needs a one-off cleanup, or is a ticking bomb that would cost you more in patches than a rebuild. I will not quietly take your money to babysit a site I know is going to blow up.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions Dhaka owners actually ask before they hand over the keys to their site.

Website maintenance koto taka per month in Dhaka?

Honest version: anything under about 3,000 BDT a month for a real business website is theatre — nobody can do proper updates, backups and monitoring for less and still be there when something breaks. I price each maintenance plan on your actual site: a 5-page business site costs less than a busy WooCommerce store taking daily orders. I send the number in writing in BDT and bill monthly, quarterly or yearly via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. New build projects are separate and start at 50,000 BDT (with 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT tiers, and custom from 3,00,000 BDT).

Another developer built my Dhaka site. Can you still maintain it?

Yes, after a one-time paid audit. I log into the hosting, theme, plugins, database, backups and DNS and tell you honestly what state things are in. If the site is clean, I take over a normal monthly plan. If it is full of nulled plugins or eight months behind on updates, I will quote a one-off cleanup first, or — if it is genuinely a ticking bomb — recommend a rebuild instead of pretending a sick site is healthy. No setup fee if I built the site myself.

My site is hosted in Bangladesh on shared hosting. Is that a problem for maintenance?

Not a problem, but it is exactly why maintenance matters more here. Local shared hosting from providers like Exonhost, Hostever or Putul is fine for the price, but it is also where most PHP-version surprises, brute-force login attempts and malware infections show up. I work with whatever host you are on, keep your stack patched against it, and flag honestly if your traffic has outgrown shared hosting and a small VPS would actually save you downtime and lost sales.

How fast do you respond if my site goes down in Dhaka?

Uptime monitoring alerts me within minutes of an outage, often before you notice. For clients on a paid plan I aim to acknowledge genuine downtime on WhatsApp within an hour in Dhaka time, including evenings and weekends, and most real outages I have handled are resolved the same day in under a couple of hours. I do not sell a fantasy 24x7 SLA I cannot personally deliver — but you will be talking to the person who can fix it, not a bot.

Are content edits and a broken bKash or SSLCommerz checkout covered?

Small content edits are included within a monthly allowance — prices, banners, a new product, an Eid offer, a new Uttara branch address, fixing a typo. A broken payment integration after a gateway update is treated as priority downtime and fixed under the plan, since for most Dhaka stores a dead checkout is the same as the whole site being down. Big new pages, new features or custom plugin work are quoted separately so your monthly fee stays predictable.

If I stop the maintenance plan later, do I lose anything?

No. Your site, hosting, domain, code, database and backups are all in your name and your accounts from day one — I never hold them hostage. If you cancel, I hand over a clean credentials document, the latest verified backup and a short note on what was last updated, and you walk away with everything. No 'proprietary CMS' trick, no lock-in, no holding your DNS to force a renewal.
