Almost every agency reply starts the same way too. First comes a long pitch and a promise of "international quality". Then comes a price that magically doubles when you mention you also need product pages or a contact form.
Responsive does not mean "works on a phone if you squint". It means the layout, type size, tap targets, menu, images and loading speed are all rebuilt for the device the buyer is holding. In Bangladesh, eight times out of ten, that is a mid-range Android on a 4G signal.
Building for that properly takes more work than building for a desktop monitor in a Dhanmondi office. The price reflects the work, not a sticker.

Up to 20 pages, with custom animations that do not kill mobile speed. It adds a Bangla and English setup if needed, lead-capture forms, an analytics dashboard and three months of post-launch tweaks.
A fully bespoke responsive build. Think dashboards, member areas, booking flows, custom bKash, Nagad or SSLCOMMERZ integrations, or anything that does not fit a tier. I scope and quote it in writing before kickoff.
Whichever tier you pick, the price is locked in writing before you pay a paisa. If the scope changes mid-project, you see the new number first and approve it. Or we leave the scope alone.
You see the responsive design, on mobile and desktop, and approve it before the second 50% is due. If the homepage does not feel right, we keep working on it. You never pay in full for something you have not signed off.
Three things move the number, and none of them is "how big the agency office is." The first is page count. Five pages versus twenty is not a 4x jump in price, but it is about 2.5x. Each new page needs its own mobile layout, image compression, internal links and content placement.
The second is how complex the interactions are. A static brochure site that just shows information is simple. A site with filters, search, sliders, multi-step forms, a booking widget or a custom mobile menu is a different beast. Each interaction has to be tested on real Bangladeshi handsets at real BD network speeds, not just on a designer's MacBook in Chrome.
The third driver is content and integration. Say you hand me clean copy, organized photos, a logo file and your bKash or Nagad numbers on day one. Then the price stays exactly where I quoted it.
But I may have to write your About page or retouch product photos. I may need to hunt down your trade licence number for the footer, or add a payment gateway you have not signed up for yet. That work has to live somewhere in the quote. That is why I ask boring questions on the call about who writes the content and who owns the brand assets. The answers decide whether you are a 50,000 BDT project or a 90,000 BDT one.

The pricing questions I get on WhatsApp every week. Straight answers, no "contact us for a quote."
The pricing floor is 50,000 BDT. That gets you a real, fully responsive website with up to 5 pages, mobile-first design, a contact form and basic SEO setup. I do not work below this number. Anything cheaper either skips the mobile rebuild or hands you a recycled template. Both come back to bite you when the bounce rate hits the ceiling.
Because the quotes are for different things. Some are for a template with the logo swapped. Some are for a desktop site that has been auto-shrunk for phones. Some are for a real responsive design rebuilt for mobile from the ground up. The first two will quote you 10,000 to 20,000 BDT. The third starts at 50,000 BDT. They are not the same product, even if the brochure looks the same.
It is the full project cost, paid once. You pay 50% advance to start and 50% on launch after design approval. Domain and hosting are separate yearly costs, usually 1,500 to 6,000 BDT per year depending on the provider. I will tell you exactly what to buy, but you own that account.
All three. Most clients pay the first 50% via bKash or Nagad, personal or merchant. They pay the second 50% by bank transfer once the site is approved. For amounts above 1,00,000 BDT, bank transfer or card is usually easier than splitting bKash payments. I send a written invoice either way.
Not unless you add scope. The number we agree on at kickoff is what you pay. That is the point of fixing it in writing. Midway through, you might want an extra section, an extra language, a payment gateway or 8 more pages. I quote that extra work separately, you approve it in writing, and then we add it. There is no surprise jump in the final invoice.
From contract to live URL, the 50,000 BDT tier usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. That assumes you send content and photos in the first week. The 90,000 BDT tier takes 3 to 4 weeks. Custom projects above 3,00,000 BDT depend on scope, and the timeline is set in the written quote. Delays almost always come from content waiting on the client side, not the build side.
