And almost every agency reply starts the same way too - a long pitch, a promise of "international quality," then a price that magically doubles when you mention you also need product pages or a contact form. It means the layout, the type size, the tap targets, the menu, the images and the loading speed are all rebuilt for the device the buyer is actually holding - which in Bangladesh, eight times out of ten, is a mid-range Android over a 4G signal. Building for that properly takes more work than building for a desktop monitor in a Dhanmondi office. The price reflects the work, not a sticker.

Three things move the number, and none of them are "how big the agency office is." The first is page count - five pages versus twenty pages is not a 4x jump in price, but it is roughly 2.5x, because each new page needs its own mobile layout, its own image compression, its own internal links and its own content placement. The second is interaction complexity. A static brochure site that just displays information is straightforward. A site with filters, search, sliders, multi-step forms, a booking widget or a custom mobile menu is a different beast - each interaction has to be tested on real Bangladeshi handsets on real BD network speeds, not just on a designer's MacBook in Chrome.
The third driver is content and integration. If you hand me clean copy, organized photos, a logo file and your bKash/Nagad numbers on day one, the price stays exactly where I quoted it. If I have to write your About page, retouch product photos, hunt down your trade licence number for the footer, and integrate a payment gateway you have not signed up for yet, that work has to live somewhere in the quote. That is why on the call I will ask boring questions about who is writing the content and who owns the brand assets - the answers decide whether you are a 50,000 BDT project or a 90,000 BDT one.

The pricing floor is 50,000 BDT. That gets you a real, fully responsive website - up to 5 pages, mobile-first design, contact form and basic SEO setup. I do not work below this number because anything cheaper either skips the mobile rebuild or hands you a recycled template, and both come back to bite you when the bounce rate hits the ceiling.
Because some quotes are for a template with the logo swapped, some are for a desktop site that has been auto-shrunk for phones, and some are for an actual responsive design that has been rebuilt for mobile from the ground up. The first two will quote you 10,000-20,000 BDT. The third starts at 50,000 BDT. They are not the same product, even if the brochure looks identical.
It is the full project cost, one-time. You pay 50% advance to start, 50% on launch after design approval. Domain and hosting are separate annual costs - usually 1,500-6,000 BDT per year depending on the provider - and I will tell you exactly what to buy, but you own that account.
All three. Most clients pay the first 50% via bKash or Nagad personal/merchant, and the second 50% via bank transfer once the site is approved. For amounts above 1,00,000 BDT, bank transfer or card is usually easier than splitting bKash transactions. I send a written invoice either way.
Not unless you add scope. The number we agree on at kickoff is what you pay - that is the point of fixing it in writing. If midway through you decide you want an extra section, an extra language, a payment gateway or 8 more pages, I quote the extra work separately, you approve it in writing, then we add it. No surprise inflation in the final invoice.
From contract sign to live URL, usually 2 to 3 weeks for the 50,000 BDT tier, assuming you provide content and photos within the first week. The 90,000 BDT tier runs 3 to 4 weeks. Custom projects above 3,00,000 BDT depend on scope and are timeboxed in the written quote. Delays almost always come from content waiting on the client side, not the build side.
