Website Development Cost BD

Website development cost bd — one fixed number, decided before any work starts.

I'm RH Fardin, and I build websites for businesses across Bangladesh myself, start to finish. If you're trying to budget, here's the honest version: development starts at ৳50,000, the price is fixed in BDT before we begin, and it doesn't creep mid-project. No "sir, extra charge lagbe" after the advance, no padded agency invoice. On this page I break down exactly what drives the cost up or down so you know what you're paying for.

From ৳50,000, fixed in BDT • Tiers: ৳50,000 / ৳90,000 / ৳1,50,000 • Custom from ৳3,00,000 • 50% advance, 50% on launch • One senior, no agency markup

Why nobody will give you a straight website price in BD

What website development actually costs in Bangladesh — and why the quotes are all over the place

Ask five people "website development cost bd koto?" and you'll get five wildly different answers — ৳8,000 from a Facebook page, ৳25,000 from a marketplace freelancer, ৳2 lakh from an agency, and a lot of "depends, sir" in between. The reason isn't that the work is mysterious. It's that most sellers won't commit to a number until they've taken your advance, because the vague quote is how they leave room to charge more later. I do the opposite: I tell you the price before you pay anything, in writing, and it's the price you actually pay.

I'm RH Fardin. For around five years I've designed and developed websites for businesses all over Bangladesh, and I do every part myself — scoping, design, code, testing on real phones, launch. That matters for cost because there's no agency layer adding margin on top of margin, and no junior quietly rebuilding your site from a free theme while you're billed for senior work. When you pay me, you're paying for the actual hands on the keyboard, not a reception desk and three people you'll never speak to.

My floor is ৳50,000, and I'm honest about why. Below that number, nobody is doing real development — they're handing you a downloaded template with your logo dropped in, hosted somewhere you don't control, with nobody to call when it breaks two months later. ৳50,000 is what it costs to build a clean, fast, mobile-first site with code you own and someone accountable for it. The ৳8,000 site isn't cheaper in the end; it's a sunk cost you pay twice, once to the first person and again to whoever has to rebuild it.

Cost in Bangladesh is also about trust, and trust is mostly about the advance. The standard horror story is simple — slick portfolio, number quoted on WhatsApp, 50% taken by bKash, then the work stalls or comes back as something you never approved. My structure removes that gamble: fixed price agreed before we start, 50% advance to begin, you approve the design before I write any code, and the final 50% only on launch. You always know what you're paying and what you're getting for it.

What's included

What your money actually buys when you pay for website development in BD

Six things that justify a real website development cost in Bangladesh — and that the ৳8,000 template quietly leaves out.

01

Fixed before you pay

You get one clear BDT number in writing before any work or advance. The price you're quoted is the price you pay — it doesn't grow after the bKash transfer clears.

02

No agency markup

There's no account manager, no office overhead, no margin stacked on a junior's work. You pay for senior development directly, which is why my number is honest, not inflated.

03

Clear price tiers

৳50,000 for a focused starter site, ৳90,000 for a fuller business build, ৳1,50,000 for larger or ecommerce work, custom from ৳3,00,000. You pick the tier that fits the job.

04

You own the code

The site, hosting and code are yours — not locked to my account. A cheap site you can't control is the most expensive thing you can buy, because you pay again to escape it.

05

Pay in two parts

50% advance to start, 50% on launch, by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. The split means I only get paid in full when the site is live and you've approved it.

06

No surprise charges

Scope is agreed upfront, so there's no "extra lagbe" mid-project for things that should've been included. New work gets a new clear quote — never a quiet addition to your bill.

In focus

What actually drives website development cost up or down in Bangladesh

Price isn't random — it tracks how much has to be built and how much you need to own. The biggest cost driver is scope: a five-page business site with a contact flow is far cheaper to develop than a store with a product catalogue, bKash and Nagad checkout, cash-on-delivery handling, and an inventory you can update yourself.

After scope comes custom design versus a configured template, the number of pages, whether you need Bangla and English, integrations like a booking system or payment gateway, and how SEO-ready the code has to be from day one. A site that's built to actually rank in Bangladesh costs more upfront than one that just sits there — but it earns that back. This is why a single fixed "website development cost bd" number doesn't exist until someone understands what you're actually building.

Here's the part most sellers won't tell you: the cheapest quote almost always becomes the most expensive project. The ৳8,000 to ৳20,000 sites skip the things you can't see — they're slow on mid-range Android over 4G, where nearly all your customers arrive; they break when you try to edit them; they're hosted somewhere you don't control; and there's no one to call when they go down.

You pay for that in lost sales every day the site looks cheap to a buyer, and again when you hire someone to rebuild it properly. My ৳50,000 floor reflects what real development costs here — clean, fast, mobile-first code, built and tested by one senior person, with a fixed price so the number you budget is the number you pay. You spend a bit more once instead of spending less twice.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Straight answers to what people actually ask before budgeting for website development in Bangladesh.

Website development cost bd e koto taka? How much does a website really cost in Bangladesh?

Development starts at ৳50,000 and the price is fixed before we begin. Typical tiers are ৳50,000 for a focused starter site, ৳90,000 for a fuller business site, and ৳1,50,000 for larger or ecommerce builds; fully custom work starts from ৳3,00,000. You get one clear BDT number upfront, with no surprise add-ons after the advance.

Why is your website development cost more than the ৳8,000 quotes on Facebook?

Because ৳8,000 doesn't buy development — it buys a free template with your logo on it, hosted where you can't control it, with nobody accountable. My ৳50,000 floor is real, fast, mobile-first code built by one senior person, that you own. Cheap sites cost you twice: in lost sales while they look cheap, and again when you rebuild them properly.

What makes the price go up or down?

Scope, mostly. A few-page business site is cheaper than a store with bKash and Nagad checkout, cash-on-delivery and an inventory you can manage. Custom design versus a template, number of pages, Bangla plus English, integrations, and how SEO-ready the build needs to be all move the number. I size the quote to exactly what you need — you don't pay for things you won't use.

Will the price change after I pay the advance?

No. The full price is agreed and fixed in writing before any advance. The only time the number changes is if you ask for new work that wasn't in the original scope — and even then you get a separate, clear quote first. There's no quiet "extra charge lagbe" added to your bill mid-project.

How do I pay, and what's the payment split?

It's 50% advance to start and 50% on launch, by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. I send a clear invoice with the agreed fixed price before any work begins. The split protects you — I only collect the final half once the site is live and you've signed off on it.

Is the cost the same if my business is outside Dhaka?

Yes. The price tracks the work, not your location. Most of the project runs over WhatsApp, calls and screen-shares, so a business in Chattogram, Rajshahi or a smaller town pays the same fixed BDT price as one in Dhaka, for the same quality of development.
