Cheap Website Maintenance Service in Bangladesh

Cheap website maintenance in Bangladesh without the disappearing act

Most BD business owners only call a maintenance guy when the site is already down, the SSL has expired, or some plugin update wiped the homepage. I run quiet, scheduled care so that day never comes. One senior operator handling updates, backups, security and small content tweaks for a flat monthly fee in BDT.

About 5 years building and babysitting WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify sites for Bangladeshi businesses. Project work starts at 50,000 BDT. Maintenance is billed separately and stays the same price every month.

Maintenance from a builder, not a reseller

Why "cheap" website maintenance in BD usually ends in tears

Most BD owners discover their maintenance guy is gone the day their checkout breaks. The site was built by an agency, handed off to a junior, then sub-contracted to someone on Facebook for 1,500 BDT a month. By the time you message on WhatsApp, the number is unreachable and the cPanel login no longer works. Cheap maintenance shouldn't mean fragile maintenance. The reason it usually does is structural: nobody who actually understands the site is being paid enough to care.

I designed and built sites for about 5 years before I started offering maintenance, and I only maintain sites I either built myself or have audited in full. That is the trick to keeping prices low without cutting corners: I already know the theme, the plugins, the database, the hosting account and the DNS. I am not guessing what a previous developer did. Updates take minutes instead of hours, and I don't have to charge you for that exploration time.

Affordable website maintenance in Bangladesh works when one senior operator handles a small, well-built portfolio of sites end-to-end. No ticket queue. No "junior will look at it tomorrow." If your WooCommerce store goes down on a Friday night during a campaign, I am the person who picks up the phone, not a sales executive who promises to escalate it.

Pricing for my project work starts at 50,000 BDT (single landing page or simple business site), 90,000 BDT for a fuller business site, 1,50,000 BDT for a proper WooCommerce store, and custom builds from 3,00,000 BDT. Maintenance plans are quoted separately based on the actual site size and how active you want me to be. Payment is 50% advance / 50% on launch for builds, and monthly in BDT via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer for maintenance.

What's included

What you get with low-cost maintenance done properly

Six concrete things that keep a Bangladeshi business website running, ranking, and converting month after month, without inflating the bill.

01

Scheduled core updates

WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates done on a fixed day each month with a staging test first. No surprise white screens after an auto-update broke a checkout page on a Friday night.

02

Off-site daily backups

Automated daily backups stored off your hosting account, not just on the same cPanel that could fail. Restorable in under an hour if a plugin, hacker or intern wipes something out.

03

Security & uptime watch

Malware scanning, login hardening, fail2ban-style brute force protection, and 24/7 uptime monitoring. If the site goes down at 2am, I know before you do.

04

Small content tweaks

A monthly allowance for real edits: new product, updated price list, fresh banner, new team photo, Ramadan or Eid offer block. No nickel-and-diming for 10-minute jobs.

05

Speed & SEO health

Quarterly check on Core Web Vitals, broken links, image weight, and indexing in Google Search Console for Bangladesh. Small fixes shipped; bigger issues flagged with an honest quote.

06

BDT billing, no surprises

Flat monthly fee in BDT, invoiced in advance, payable by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. No dollar conversions creeping up every month, no "emergency fee" the first time something breaks.

In focus

What actually makes website maintenance "cheap" in Bangladesh, and what makes it dangerous

Cheap maintenance in BD usually means one of three things, and only one of them is safe. First, there are the 1,000-2,000 BDT/month "packages" you see on Facebook. The math doesn't work: nobody can afford to spend more than 15 minutes a month on your site at that price, so updates get skipped, backups don't exist, and the person disappears the moment something serious breaks.

Second, there are agencies that sell maintenance at 8,000-15,000 BDT but route every ticket through a junior who has never seen your site before, so simple updates take days and broken things stay broken. Third, there is the actually-affordable option: a senior operator who already built or audited your site, runs a tight monthly routine, and charges enough to do the work properly but not enough to need a sales team.

I sit in that third bucket. My maintenance pricing depends on what you have, how active your site is, and how fast you need me when something breaks, but the principle is the same for everyone: I'd rather quote you a fair monthly fee in BDT and actually answer the WhatsApp message at 11pm than win you with a low number and ghost you on the first real incident.

If you're running a WooCommerce store, an active corporate site, or a service business that lives on its contact form, ask me for a written maintenance plan with everything that's in and everything that's not. No retainer fog, no "upon request" clauses, no PayPal-only invoicing that costs you 5% in conversion. Just a plain BDT number, a plain scope, and a real human you can reach in Dhaka time.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Straight answers about cheap website maintenance in Bangladesh, what's realistic at what price, and how working with one senior person is different from a Facebook "package."

Website maintenance koto taka per month in Bangladesh?

Honest answer: anything under 3,000 BDT a month for a real business website is theatre. My maintenance plans typically range from a small monthly retainer for a 5-page business site up to a more substantial monthly fee for a busy WooCommerce store with daily orders. I price each plan based on the actual site, send it in writing in BDT, and bill via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. Build work itself starts at 50,000 BDT.

Do you maintain websites you didn't build yourself?

Yes, but only after a paid audit first. I need to log in, look at the hosting, the theme, the plugins, the database, the backups and the DNS, and tell you honestly whether the site is in a state where cheap maintenance is even possible. Sometimes the right answer is a one-time cleanup, then a normal monthly plan. Sometimes it's a rebuild. I won't quietly accept a site that's a ticking bomb.

What's included in a low-cost maintenance plan, and what's not?

Included: scheduled core/theme/plugin updates, off-site daily backups, uptime and security monitoring, a fixed monthly allowance of small content edits (product, price, banner, image swaps), and quarterly speed and SEO health checks. Not included as standard: building new pages, big design changes, new integrations, custom plugin development, or paid plugin/SSL/hosting renewals. Those are quoted separately so the monthly fee stays predictable.

How fast do you respond if my site goes down?

If you're on a maintenance plan, I treat "site is down" and "checkout is broken" as priority and aim to acknowledge on WhatsApp within an hour in Dhaka time, including evenings and weekends. Most issues are fixed the same day. For one-off emergency fixes without a maintenance plan, I help when I can, but maintenance clients always go first.

Can I pay monthly in BDT via bKash or Nagad?

Yes. Maintenance is invoiced in BDT and paid monthly via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, whichever is easiest for you. No PayPal-only nonsense, no surprise FX rates. For new build projects (50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT tiers or custom from 3,00,000 BDT), the standard is 50% advance and 50% on launch.

What happens if I cancel the maintenance plan later?

You keep your site, your hosting, your domain, your code, your database and your backups. Everything is in your name and your accounts from day one. I'll hand over a clean credentials document, a snapshot of the latest backup and a short note on what was last updated. No lock-in, no hostage situations, no "our proprietary CMS" tricks that quietly tie you to one vendor forever.
