Website Design Cost BD

The straight answer to website design cost in BD

Everyone asks the same first question: koto taka? Here's the honest version. A real website built for you starts at 50,000 BDT. On this page, I break down exactly what moves that number up or down. So you can stop guessing and stop getting quoted random figures.

Fixed tiers, 50% advance and 50% on launch, and no surprise line items. About 5 years building sites for Bangladeshi businesses, with every project handled by me personally.

Who is quoting you

One senior designer who actually builds it, not a sales desk

I'm RH Fardin. When you ask me about website design cost in BD, the number comes from the person who will write the code and push the site live. It doesn't come from a sales executive who hands the work to a junior after you pay. That matters for pricing. There's no agency overhead and no account-manager salary in your quote. There's no markup for a team you'll never meet.

Most pricing confusion in Bangladesh comes from one thing: nobody tells you what they're actually charging for. One shop says 15,000 taka, another says 2 lakh, and you can't tell why.

The cheap one usually means a recycled template with your logo dropped on top. The expensive one is often an agency padding the bill. My pricing sits in the middle, and it's fixed. So you know what you're paying before any work starts.

Every site I quote is custom-built and responsive. It's tested on the cheap Android phones most of your customers actually use. It's also set up so an owner with no tech skills can update content without calling a developer every week. That's the real work behind the cost number. It's why I don't compete with the 10,000-taka template crowd.

I work directly with you over WhatsApp and email through the whole project. You approve the design before development begins. Payment is simple: 50% advance to start and 50% on launch. bKash, Nagad or bank transfer all work.

What's included

What your money actually buys

Website design cost in BD is not one number. It's a set of choices. Here's what comes with every tier, and what really moves the price.

01

Fixed tier pricing

There are three clear tiers: 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT. You pick the scope that fits, and the price doesn't creep mid-project. Custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT.

02

No template tax

You're not paying for a 5-dollar theme resold at agency prices. Every layout is designed for your business. So the cost reflects real design work, not a markup on someone else's template.

03

Mobile-first build

Over 80% of Bangladeshi visitors arrive on a phone. Every tier is tested on low-end Android and slow mobile data. A site that breaks on a Symphony handset costs you sales.

04

Approve before you pay more

You see and sign off on the design before I write development code. The design-approval guarantee means you never pay for a direction you didn't agree to.

05

Local payment ready

Need bKash, Nagad or a card gateway connected? That's a scoped, priced add-on, not a vague extra. You know the cost before it goes in.

06

Owner-editable

I hand over a site you can actually update yourself. You don't need a monthly retainer just to change a phone number. That's the hidden cost most quotes never mention.

In focus

What actually drives your website cost in Bangladesh

The biggest cost driver is page count and custom design, not technology. A clean 5 to 7 page business site at the 50,000 BDT floor is mostly design and layout work. The jump to 90,000 or 1,50,000 BDT happens when you add things that need real building.

That means a blog with categories, Bangla and English content, or booking and enquiry forms linked to email. It also means a product catalogue or a payment gateway. Each of those is real engineering time. That's exactly why a serious quote should name them line by line, instead of giving you one round number.

The second driver is the stuff people forget until launch day. Domain and hosting are a separate yearly cost you pay to the provider, not to me. Content and photos matter too, since a site is only as good as the words and images you give it. Then there's a bKash or Nagad payment setup if you sell online. I price these openly, so the 50,000 BDT you saw at the start isn't quietly 80,000 by the end.

If a quote in BD looks suspiciously cheap, it's almost always a template with your details swapped in. You'll pay the difference later in lost customers, slow load times, and a rebuild within a year.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

These are the real questions people ask before they pay for a website in Bangladesh.

Website design er cost koto taka in BD?

A custom website built for you starts at 50,000 BDT. The three standard tiers are 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT, based on page count and features. Fully custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT. I don't work below 50,000, because anything cheaper is a template, not real design work.

Why is your price higher than the 10,000-taka offers I see on Facebook?

Those offers are recycled templates with your logo pasted on. They look fine in a screenshot, but they break on real phones and load slowly. They need rebuilding within a year. My 50,000 BDT floor is for a custom, mobile-tested site you actually own. So you pay once instead of paying twice.

What makes the price go from 50,000 to 1,50,000 BDT?

Scope. The floor covers a clean business site of about 5 to 7 pages. The price rises when you add a blog, Bangla and English versions, enquiry or booking forms, a product catalogue, or a payment gateway. I name each item in the quote, so you see exactly what the higher cost buys.

How do I pay, and can I use bKash or Nagad?

Payment is 50% advance to start and 50% on launch. You can pay by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, whichever is easiest. The advance secures your slot and start date. The balance is only due once the site is live and you're happy with it.

Are domain and hosting included in the cost?

No, and that's on purpose. Domain and hosting are a yearly cost paid directly to the provider, usually a few thousand taka a year. That way you own them and aren't locked to me. I'll set everything up and suggest reliable options, but you keep control of the accounts.

Are there hidden charges after the project starts?

No. The tier price is fixed once we agree on scope. You might later want something outside that scope, like adding a payment gateway. If so, I quote it separately before doing the work. You approve the design before development begins, so you never pay for a direction you didn't sign off on.
