About the designer behind your cheap site
Why cheap web design in Bangladesh usually goes wrong, and how I fix it
The cheap web design market in Bangladesh is a graveyard of half-finished sites. Someone advertises a 7,000 taka package on Facebook, takes the advance, hands over a nulled theme that breaks on the first WordPress update, ignores the WhatsApp messages, and the buyer ends up paying twice. I have rebuilt a lot of those second-attempt sites. That is exactly why my floor is 50,000 BDT and not lower.
Cheap, in my work, means honest cheap. It means you get a real designer reading your brief, a clean layout that suits a sari shop or a tutor or a steel trader, a homepage that loads in under three seconds on a Banglalink 4G connection in Mirpur, and forms that capture bKash and Nagad numbers correctly. It does not mean cutting corners on hosting, on speed, on the contact form, or on the handover. Those are the corners that cost you customers later.
I have been doing this for around five years from Bangladesh, for buyers in Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna and overseas. The work is solo on purpose. When you message me on WhatsApp, you reach the same person who drew your homepage and wrote your CSS. There is no account manager translating your feedback into a typo-filled brief for a junior in another floor of the building.
If your budget is genuinely below 50,000 BDT, I will say so on the first call and point you to a sensible alternative, like a one-page profile site or a Linktree-style landing first. I would rather lose the project than ship you something I cannot stand behind.
