Restaurant Website Development BD

A restaurant website in Bangladesh has one job: turn a hungry phone tap into a confirmed booking, a Foodpanda order, or someone walking through your door tonight. Most restaurant sites in BD fail at all three.

I build restaurant websites for Bangladeshi owners who are tired of paying for a pretty homepage that nobody books from. Real menu cards, bKash/Nagad-friendly reservation deposits, working table-booking forms, accurate Google Maps pin, Foodpanda and HungryNaki deep-links, photo galleries that load on a 4G connection. Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT, 50% advance, 50% on launch. I write the code, I shoot the menu structure, I push the site live.

Solo senior developer. ~5 years building for BD owners. No agency middleman, no junior reshuffling your homepage every Friday.

Why most restaurant websites in BD lose customers before the first bite

Walk into any decent restaurant in Dhanmondi, Banani, GEC Circle or Zindabazar and you will find the same problem online: a website that was built three years ago, still shows last Eid's iftar menu, has a phone number that goes to a former manager, and crashes on mobile when somebody actually tries to book a table for eight people on a Friday night. The owner usually doesn't even know, because the developer disappeared after the final payment and the site has been quietly losing dinner covers ever since.

I build restaurant websites differently because I treat them like an operational tool, not a brochure. Before I write a single line of code I want to know your average ticket size, your peak rush windows, whether you do home delivery in-house or only through Foodpanda and HungryNaki, what percentage of customers are paying through bKash versus cash on delivery, and whether you take reservation deposits. That conversation usually tells me which features actually move the needle for your specific kitchen, and which ones are just expensive wallpaper.

Everything is built and shipped by me. I am RH Fardin, a Bangladesh-based website designer and developer with around five years of work behind me. I am not an agency, I do not subcontract, and I do not hand your project to a junior who has never run a service line. When you message me on WhatsApp at 11pm because the online menu link is broken right before your launch event, I am the one who fixes it.

Pricing is honest and posted up front: 50,000 BDT for a focused single-outlet site, 90,000 BDT for a richer build with reservations and gallery, 1,50,000 BDT for multi-outlet or franchise-style restaurants, and 3,00,000 BDT and up for fully custom builds with kitchen-side ordering dashboards or POS-style integrations. 50% advance, 50% on launch, and a design-approval guarantee so you sign off on the look before I ship a single page.

What's included

What you actually get when a restaurant website is built properly

Six concrete things that separate a working restaurant website in Bangladesh from a screensaver with your logo on it.

01

Phone-First Menu

The menu loads as text and lightweight images, not a 4MB PDF nobody can read on a Symphony or Walton. Categories collapse on mobile, prices are searchable, and Bangla and English live side by side without fighting each other.

02

Real Table Booking

A reservation form that captures date, time, party size and contact, then drops straight into your WhatsApp Business or email so your front-of-house staff actually sees it in time. Optional bKash or Nagad deposit field for no-show-prone Friday nights.

03

Foodpanda & HungryNaki

Direct deep-links to your existing Foodpanda, HungryNaki or Pathao Food storefronts on every page, so the website becomes a channel that feeds your delivery apps instead of competing with them.

04

Accurate Maps Pin

Google Maps embed with the correct pin (not the one Google guessed five years ago) plus written landmark directions in Bangla-friendly language. Reduces the daily five-call 'apnar location ta kothay?' tax on your staff.

05

Photo Gallery That Loads

Compressed, lazy-loaded gallery with food shots, ambience and private dining areas. Looks sharp on a Samsung A-series, still fast on Robi or Banglalink 4G in a basement food court.

06

Owner-Editable Menu

Simple admin panel so you or your manager can change a price, mark a dish as out, or add a new seasonal item without messaging me at 9am. No hidden 'menu update fee' every time biryani goes up by 50 taka.

In focus

What actually drives the price of a restaurant website in Bangladesh

When a restaurant owner asks 'restaurant website koto taka?' the honest answer depends on three things: how many menu items and categories you have, whether you want real online ordering or just menu display plus delivery-app links, and how many outlets and languages the site needs to serve. A 30-item single-outlet kebab house in Mirpur with bilingual menu and reservation form fits cleanly into the 50,000 BDT package.

A 120-item multi-cuisine restaurant in Gulshan with private dining bookings, event catering quotes, gallery, and online deposit collection sits closer to 90,000 BDT. A chain with three or more outlets, separate menus per branch, and centralised reservations belongs in the 1,50,000 BDT tier. Anything with a custom kitchen display, POS integration, loyalty points or franchise-portal login moves into the 3,00,000 BDT custom range.

Hosting, domain, and the Google Business Profile setup are not hidden surprises either. I tell you the rough yearly cost of hosting and the .com domain on day one, walk you through your Google Business Profile, and connect Google Analytics so you can actually see whether the website is sending you reservations and clicks to Foodpanda. Cheaper providers quote 15,000 BDT and then bolt on charges for SSL, for every menu edit, for 'mobile optimisation'. I do not work that way. The price I quote is the price you pay, and the site you sign off on is the site that goes live.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions BD restaurant owners actually ask before they hire me.

Restaurant website BD koto taka? What is the honest starting price?

50,000 BDT for a single-outlet restaurant site with a proper menu, contact, gallery, Maps pin, and reservation form. 90,000 BDT if you want online deposits, advanced gallery and event-booking pages. 1,50,000 BDT for multi-outlet restaurants. Custom builds with online ordering or POS integration start at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch. No hidden charges for SSL, mobile, or menu edits during the build.

Can customers pay reservation deposits or order online with bKash and Nagad?

Yes. For reservations, the standard build includes a deposit field where customers send a small advance to your bKash or Nagad merchant number and paste the transaction ID into the form. For full online ordering with payment gateways, I integrate ShurjoPay, SSLCommerz or bKash Payment Gateway depending on your monthly volume. We talk through which one fits your ticket size before I quote.

I already have a Foodpanda and HungryNaki listing. Do I even need my own website?

Yes, for two reasons. First, Foodpanda and HungryNaki take a hefty commission and own your customer data. A direct website lets repeat customers order from you without the commission, especially for catering and large family orders. Second, your own website is what shows up when someone Googles your restaurant name in Dhaka or Chattogram, and that is where bookings, event enquiries and party orders come from.

How long does it take to build and launch a restaurant website in Bangladesh?

Standard 50,000 BDT build is usually 2 to 3 weeks from advance payment, assuming you send menu, photos and contact details on time. The 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT builds run 3 to 5 weeks because of extra menu structuring and gallery work. Custom builds with online ordering take 6 to 10 weeks. Iftar season and Eid launches I book early, so message me well in advance if you have a date locked in.

Can my manager update the menu, prices, and daily specials without calling you every time?

Yes. Every restaurant build comes with a clean admin panel where you or your manager can edit menu items, change prices, mark dishes as unavailable, add seasonal specials and swap photos. I record a short Bangla walkthrough video for your team so you are not depending on me for routine changes. No per-edit fee, ever.

Do you only work with restaurants in Dhaka, or also Chattogram, Sylhet, Cox's Bazar and outside BD?

I work with restaurants across Bangladesh. Most of my restaurant clients are in Dhaka (Gulshan, Banani, Dhanmondi, Uttara, Bashundhara), Chattogram (Agrabad, GEC, Khulshi), Sylhet (Zindabazar, Subhanighat), and tourist spots like Cox's Bazar. Everything is handled remotely over WhatsApp, Zoom and email, and I have also built sites for Bangladeshi-owned restaurants in London, Toronto and the Middle East.
