Branding in Rajshahi
Why most Rajshahi logos fall apart the moment they leave the laptop
Walk down Shaheb Bazar or out toward New Market and look at the signboards. Half of them are a clip-art icon, a gradient nobody chose on purpose, and a business name squeezed in two fonts. They were made fast and cheap, and it shows the second you shrink them to a Facebook profile picture or print them on a small product tag. That is the real problem with most logo design in Rajshahi - it is drawn for one screen and breaks on every other surface a real business uses.
I work differently because I build the logo around where it will live. In Rajshahi that usually means a painted or printed signboard, a Facebook and WhatsApp profile, a bKash or Nagad merchant display, and increasingly a product label - silk, clothing, coaching-centre materials, food. A mark has to stay legible at thumbnail size and still look intentional blown up over a shop. So I design in vector, test it small and large, in colour and in single-colour black, before I ever call it done.
Rajshahi is a silk city and an education hub, and that shapes a lot of the briefs I get here - silk and handloom sellers who want something that signals craft without looking like a tourist souvenir, plus coaching centres, admission consultancies and student-facing services near the university and the colleges that need to read as serious and trustworthy. I do not hand any of these to a junior or pull from a logo template site. You get one senior operator who has done this for about five years and treats your mark like it has to outlast a trend.
Pricing is plain. Logo design starts at 50,000 BDT, with tiers at 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT depending on how much exploration, variation and brand groundwork you need, and fully custom branding programmes from 3,00,000 BDT. Terms are 50% advance to start and 50% on launch, and there is a design-approval guarantee - you approve the direction before that final payment is ever due.
