What a logo actually costs in Chittagong — and why the range is so wide
Logo design price in Chittagong only looks confusing until you know what you are actually paying for.
If you have spent a week messaging designers about logo design price in Chittagong, you have probably collected quotes that make no sense next to each other. A Facebook page run from someone's phone says 800 taka. A cousin's friend at university says he will do it free for the experience. A shop near GEC quotes 8,000. A Dhaka agency that picked up your call quotes 1,80,000. Same word — "logo" — wildly different numbers.
The reason is simple, and nobody selling at the bottom of that range will tell you: at 800 taka you are buying a font typed out and a clip-art mark someone else already sold to forty other people. At 50,000 BDT and up, you are buying original artwork, the editable source files, and a mark built so it actually survives being printed on a signboard in Agrabad, stamped on an export carton, and shrunk to a profile picture on a buyer's phone.
Chattogram is a trade city, and that changes the brief. So many of the businesses that come to me here live or die on how they look to someone outside Bangladesh — an importer's logo on a bill of lading, a C&F firm's stamp on shipping paperwork, a manufacturer's mark printed on a carton headed for a buyer in the Gulf or Singapore. A logo here is not decoration.
It goes on documents, on the gate of a warehouse near the port, on a Daraz storefront, on an invoice a foreign principal will judge you by. That is exactly why the 800-taka clip-art route quietly costs more than it saves: the day you need that mark in vector to print it big and sharp, the file does not exist, and you start over. Logo design price in Chittagong, done once and done right, is cheaper than doing it twice.
When you hire me, there is no account manager, no junior, no handoff. I run the brief, I research your market and your competitors, I sketch and build the marks myself, I refine the one you choose, and I deliver the files and explain how to use them — same person, one WhatsApp thread, start to finish. That single-point setup is the whole reason a senior solo price beats an agency price for the same quality: there is no office rent in Dhaka, no layer of staff, and no margin stacked on top of margin baked into your invoice. You are paying for the design and the experience, not for the overhead around it.
My pricing is fixed and stated up front, the same whether your letterhead says Chattogram or Chittagong. Logo work starts at 50,000 BDT for a complete primary logo with the core lockups, source files and a usage guide. 90,000 BDT covers a fuller identity — primary and secondary marks, Bangla and English lockups, a colour system and a short brand guideline. 1,50,000 BDT is a complete brand identity with a stationery and social kit and a full guideline document.
Fully custom brand work, where we build the whole identity system from a blank canvas, starts from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is always 50% advance and 50% on delivery — bKash, Nagad or bank transfer — and you approve the direction before I finish the artwork.
