The Bangladeshi graphic design market is bottom-heavy. At the cheap end, hundreds of one-week design "agencies" on Facebook sell logos for 5,000 to 10,000 BDT. Most are run by people who learned Illustrator on YouTube last year. Their output is fine for a single Facebook page that will never grow into a brand.

The other reason most BD design work disappoints is that it skips strategy. A typical Facebook agency asks three questions: business name, business type and colour preference. Then they design. I won't start designing until I understand who you're trying to win over and what your competitors already do. The visual choices have to do something. A logo that says "premium" to a Gulshan customer can look intimidating to a Mirpur customer. The same colour can mean trust in one industry and cheapness in another. It starts at 50,000 BDT for a focused project. That's usually a logo with three concepts, two rounds of revisions, a full file pack and a one-page brand sheet. 90,000 BDT covers a logo plus extended identity: business card, letterhead, email signature and social profile kit. 1,50,000 BDT is full brand identity, including packaging or pitch deck templates. Bigger work, like a full rebrand with a guidelines book, illustration system or motion, starts at 3,00,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on delivery.
Because you're not paying for a logo. You're paying for the brain that decides what the logo should be. A senior designer with five years of work behind him spends maybe 20% of project time in Illustrator. The other 80% is research, sketching, killing bad ideas and testing the design against your real-world uses. The 8,000 BDT shops skip all of that, and the work shows it.
Yes, and I take it seriously. Bangla letters have a different vertical rhythm than Latin letters, so pairing them needs care. I use licensed Bangla fonts: SolaimanLipi for body text, and Hind Siliguri, AdorshoLipi and a few others for display. I design custom lockups when needed. Your bilingual signage, packaging or visiting cards won't look like the Bangla was bolted on after.
A focused logo and brand sheet project takes 10 to 14 working days from advance payment. Extended identity, with a logo plus stationery and social kit, takes 3 weeks. Full brand identity with packaging takes 4 to 5 weeks. I keep a small client roster on purpose, so your project doesn't sit in a queue. If I can't start within a week of your advance, I'll tell you before you pay.
