Honest answers about redesigning a website in Bangladesh, from someone who has done this for around five years.
Redesigns start at 50,000 BDT for a standard 5-7 page business site rebuild. A mid-tier redesign with custom design, blog migration, payment integration and SEO protection runs around 90,000 BDT. Larger projects with custom modules, multi-language or membership systems sit at 1,50,000 BDT, and fully custom redesigns from scratch begin at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch, paid by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer.
Not if it is done properly. The most common reason BD sites lose rankings during a redesign is missing 301 redirects from old URLs to new ones. On every redesign I map every URL on your existing site, set up proper 301s, preserve title tags and H1s where they were working, and keep the original content intact unless you explicitly want it rewritten. Most sites I redesign hold their rankings within the first two weeks and start gaining within a month because the new site is faster and mobile-friendly.
A standard 50,000 BDT redesign takes 3 to 4 weeks from kickoff to launch. The 90,000 BDT tier is usually 5 to 6 weeks. Custom builds run 8 to 12 weeks. The timeline assumes you can give content feedback within 2 working days. If you sit on revisions for a week, the project sits with you, not with me.

I keep your posts, pages, media library, customer accounts and any plugin data, replace the theme and template structure, rebuild the page layouts, and migrate everything in a staging environment first. Your live site stays untouched until the new version is fully approved and tested.

You get two rounds of revisions on the design at no extra cost. If after that the direction is still wrong, we go back to the brief, not to development. Usually no. I work with whatever Bangladeshi hosting you are already on, BDIX-based or international. If your current hosting is slow or oversold and that is part of the speed problem, I will tell you and recommend an alternative, but the choice is yours. Your domain stays where it is. There is no upsell on hosting margins from me.
