Who runs your account
In a port city, the buyer who Googles you is already ready to spend
Chattogram runs on people who need something handled today — a clearing-and-forwarding firm for a stuck consignment, a generator service before the next load-shedding stretch, an interior fit-out for a new GEC showroom, a supplier who can deliver to Agrabad by evening. These buyers don't browse. They search the exact thing on a phone, glance at the top two or three results, and call whoever looks like they can actually do it.
That is the highest-intent traffic in the city, and it's why Google Ads beats a boosted Facebook post here for anything trade, B2B, or service-based. The problem is almost never the platform. It's that nobody is sitting on the account making sure your money lands on those ready-to-buy searches instead of everything else Google will happily charge you for.
I'm RH Fardin, and I run Google Ads as one senior operator — no agency, no juniors learning on your budget, no reseller markup tucked into a monthly fee. I both build websites and run ad campaigns, and in Chattogram that pairing matters more than people realise. An ad to the wrong page is just a faster way to lose money.
There's no point paying 30-plus taka for a click from someone in Khatunganj searching your exact service, only to drop them on a homepage that takes eight seconds to load on one bar of 4G and hides the phone number in a footer. Because I own both ends, I fix the leak wherever it is — there's no developer to blame and no marketer to point at. Just me, and the result.
Around five years of running search campaigns and building pages in this market has taught me how a Chattogram buyer actually behaves, and it isn't the Dhaka script shipped south. They ask 'koto taka?' before anything else, so the ad and the page answer price fast or they tap back to the results. They pay by bKash and Nagad, so those have to be visible and easy.
And they trust a real local presence — a Chattogram number, an area they recognise, proof you've done this kind of work — over a glossy national brand that might be in another district. Get those right and high-intent search traffic converts genuinely well here. Get them wrong and even perfect targeting bleeds out at the last step.
I take a small number of accounts on purpose, because the whole point of hiring me instead of an agency is that the senior person is the one in your dashboard. When your cost-per-call jumps or a competitor starts bidding on your name, you message me on WhatsApp and I open Google Ads — you don't file a ticket and wait three days for a trainee to read from a script. Reporting is one honest number: what a genuine enquiry costs you. Not impressions, not 'reach', not a colourful PDF. If a keyword is bleeding budget with nothing to show, I kill it and tell you, even when the number is ugly.
