About RH Fardin
In Chattogram, “boosting” and Facebook marketing are not the same thing
Here is a call I take almost every week about Facebook marketing in Chittagong. The owner has a shop on CDA Avenue or a showroom near Agrabad. For six months, they have boosted their own posts. They have spent maybe forty or fifty thousand taka doing it. They got reach. They got reactions. But they did not get a single order they can trace back to an ad.
So they decide Facebook "doesn't work in Chittagong." The truth is, they were never doing Facebook marketing. They were buying reactions from the cheapest audience Meta could find. That is almost never the buyer with money in GEC, Khulshi or Nasirabad.
I am RH Fardin, a solo senior digital marketer. For about five years, I have run paid social and search for the kinds of businesses Chattogram runs on. That includes importers and trading houses around the port. It includes electronics and furniture showrooms on the GEC and CDA Avenue strips. It includes restaurants and clinics in Khulshi, and fashion pages selling by cash-on-delivery and bKash across the city.
I handle the account audit, the audience and pixel setup, the ad creative, the landing page or Messenger funnel, and the daily budget calls myself. No junior "ads boy" logs into Business Manager. No agency dashboard hides what is really happening with your money.
Boosting fails in Chattogram for a clear reason. The boost button aims for the cheapest engagement. So Meta floods your post to bargain-hunters and meme-tappers, often far outside your delivery zone. A real campaign runs from Ads Manager with a buying goal: messages, leads or purchases. It uses a properly installed Pixel or Conversions API.
It also draws the audience around the areas and interests your buyer actually has. The creative is shot for a thumb scrolling on a 6.5-inch Android. That is the gap between "we got 800 reacts" and "we got 41 orders this week, and I know which ad each one came from."
My Facebook marketing tier starts at 50,000 BDT, and that is the honest floor. For that you get the strategy and a correct technical setup. You get a tested set of ad creatives. You get a funnel a Chattogram buyer can actually order through on a phone. You also get managed tuning, not a one-time "set it and forget it" boost.
I charge 50 percent advance and 50 percent on launch. My design-approval guarantee means you sign off on the creative and the landing experience before the second half is due. Many "FB ad experts" in Chittagong vanish the moment your card is charged. That sign-off is the part nobody else puts in writing.
