Custom Software Development BD

Custom software development in Bangladesh, built by one senior developer who actually writes your code.

Most BD shops still run on a tangle of Excel sheets, WhatsApp groups, paper challans and a Tally license from 2019. I build the lean, custom software that replaces that mess — order management, inventory, CRM, internal dashboards, booking systems, billing tools — designed around how your team actually works in Dhaka, Chattogram or Sylhet. No bloated ERP, no licence per seat, no vendor lock-in. Builds start from 50,000 BDT and scale up to full custom systems from 3,00,000 BDT.

~5 years building custom software for BD businesses. 50,000 BDT minimum. Design-approval guarantee before a single line of production code is written.

About this service

Software built around your workflow, not the other way around

Almost every BD business I meet has the same hidden tax: three people copy-pasting the same order between a Facebook inbox, a Google Sheet, a delivery rider's WhatsApp and a paper receipt book. When the founder asks 'how many orders did we ship this week?', someone spends an hour adding it up. Custom software kills that tax. Instead of forcing your team into a foreign SaaS designed for a US warehouse, I build a system that mirrors your real-life process — in Bangla labels if you want, with the exact fields your accountant needs for VAT, and the exact statuses your delivery team actually uses.

I am RH Fardin, a solo software developer based in Bangladesh with about five years of building web apps, dashboards and internal tools for local businesses. I do the discovery, the database design, the back-end, the front-end and the deployment myself — there is no junior on the other end of WhatsApp guessing at your requirements. When you message me about a bug at 11pm before a sales push, you reach the person who wrote the code.

My sweet spot is the BD business that has outgrown spreadsheets but is nowhere near needing SAP or Odoo with a 12-person implementation team. Think a 4-warehouse distributor in Tejgaon who needs a stock-and-dispatch tool, a coaching centre in Uttara who needs a student-and-fee tracker, a clinic in Chattogram who needs an appointment-and-billing system, or a real-estate firm in Bashundhara who needs an inventory of flats with sales-pipeline tracking. Software that fits like a glove, not like a borrowed jacket.

Engagements run on simple terms: 50% advance, 50% on launch, paid by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. Tiered builds at 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT cover most internal tools and small SaaS-style apps. Full custom systems with bespoke workflows, multi-role access and integrations start from 3,00,000 BDT. You see the UI and approve the design before I write production back-end code — if the design is wrong, we redo it without a fight.

What's included

Why BD businesses pick custom software over off-the-shelf

Off-the-shelf software is built for a million businesses. Custom software is built for one — yours. Here is what that gets you in Bangladesh.

01

Built around your real workflow

Your software speaks the same vocabulary your team already uses — 'delivery man', 'koto taka due', 'invoice/challan'. No retraining staff to fit a US-built CRM.

02

No per-seat licensing trap

You own the code and the database. Hire 5 more people next year and pay zero extra licence fees — unlike Zoho, HubSpot or Salesforce in BDT.

03

bKash, Nagad and bank-ready

Where it makes sense I wire in bKash, Nagad and SSLCOMMERZ so the software handles real BD payment flows, not just Stripe in dollars.

04

Mobile-first dashboards

Most BD managers check numbers from a phone, not a desktop. I design the dashboards to be thumb-friendly on a Redmi or Galaxy before I worry about a 27-inch monitor.

05

One senior, no telephone game

You brief one developer who codes it. No PM relaying your message to a junior who misunderstands and ships the wrong button two weeks later.

06

Honest scope, honest price

I quote in BDT with the scope written down. If the build is genuinely small, I tell you 50,000 BDT and refuse to inflate it into a fake enterprise quote.

In focus

What 'custom software' actually means in Bangladesh — and what it does not

In BD the words 'custom software' get thrown around for anything from a simple WordPress form to a full ERP. Let me be specific about what I mean. I build web-based business applications: things you log into from a browser to run part of your operation. That covers order and inventory management, CRMs tied to your sales reps, booking and appointment systems, internal admin panels, custom invoicing and challan generators with VAT, multi-role dashboards, member portals, fee-management for schools and coaching centres, simple multi-tenant SaaS products, and integrations between things you already use (Facebook Lead Ads to your CRM, your CRM to bKash, your shop to your accountant's Excel export). The stack is typically Laravel or Node on the back-end, MySQL or PostgreSQL for data, and a clean React or HTML/CSS front-end — deployed on a VPS in Singapore or Frankfurt so latency from Bangladesh is good and your data stays under your control.

What I do not do: native iOS/Android apps from scratch (I will build a mobile-friendly web app and recommend a separate mobile shop if you truly need native), heavy machine-learning systems, hardware-firmware work, or government tender-scale projects with 50,000 users on day one. If your project genuinely needs a 10-person team, I will say so and point you elsewhere instead of pretending I am that team. The whole reason this service is priced from 50,000 BDT and tops out around 3,00,000+ BDT for full builds is that I deliver projects one senior person can ship well — not bloated 'enterprise' quotes that fund three middlemen.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Common questions before commissioning custom software in Bangladesh.

Custom software development BD-te koto taka nibe?

Small internal tools and single-purpose web apps start at 50,000 BDT and scale up through 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT tiers depending on number of modules, roles and integrations. Full custom systems with multiple workflows, complex permissions and third-party integrations start from 3,00,000 BDT. Terms are 50% advance, 50% on launch, paid via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer.

How is custom software different from buying a ready-made SaaS like Zoho or HubSpot?

Ready-made SaaS is rented forever — you pay per user per month in USD, you cannot change the workflow, and your data lives on their server. Custom software is bought once. You own the code and the database, you fit it exactly to how your BD team operates, and you stop paying recurring licence fees. For a 10+ person team or any non-standard workflow, custom usually pays back within 12-18 months.

Can you build software that handles bKash, Nagad or SSLCOMMERZ payments?

Yes. For applications that collect payments — fee management, billing portals, booking systems, mini storefronts — I integrate bKash and Nagad merchant APIs and SSLCOMMERZ for cards. You will need merchant accounts with each gateway; I handle the technical integration, signature verification and webhook handling so payments are recorded correctly in your software.

How long does a custom software build take?

A focused internal tool at the 50,000-90,000 BDT level typically takes 3-5 weeks from kickoff. A 1,50,000 BDT build runs 6-9 weeks. Full custom systems from 3,00,000 BDT usually take 10-16 weeks, depending on integrations and how quickly you can sign off on designs and review milestones. Design approval is locked before back-end coding, so we do not waste weeks on the wrong UI.

Who owns the source code after the project is done?

You do. On final payment I hand over the full source code, the database schema, the deployment scripts and basic technical documentation. You can hire another developer to extend it, host it wherever you like, or stop paying me entirely. There is no licence, no obfuscated code, no vendor-lock encryption — that is the whole point of going custom.

Do you handle hosting, server setup and ongoing maintenance in Bangladesh?

Yes. I set up your VPS (usually DigitalOcean, Vultr or Hetzner — chosen for low latency from BD), configure backups, SSL and monitoring, and deploy your software there. Ongoing maintenance is offered as a separate monthly retainer if you want bug fixes, small feature additions and security patches handled. You are also free to take the code and host it with any local provider you prefer.
