Cheap Custom Software Development BD

Cheap custom software development in BD that you do not have to rebuild in eight months.

Most low-cost custom software in Bangladesh fails the same way: a cousin or a 3-person shop quotes 80,000 BDT, disappears at version two, and you pay double to a senior to clean it up. I write the software once, scope it tight, and hand you a working product on a price you can actually plan around.

Roughly 5 years building Bangladeshi web tools. Custom software starts at 3,00,000 BDT. Simpler website-based tools from 50,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch. bKash and Nagad accepted.

About the work

What "cheap" custom software actually means when one senior writes it

Almost every founder who lands on this page is staring at two quotes: a 5,00,000 BDT proposal from a Dhaka agency that sent six pages of buzzwords, and a 90,000 BDT WhatsApp message from someone’s nephew. Both are wrong for different reasons. The agency price is loaded with 6 people you will never meet.

The nephew price has no plan for what happens when your data hits 50,000 rows, when a delivery boy needs the app offline in Mirpur traffic, or when bKash changes its IPN format. Cheap custom software in Bangladesh only works when somebody senior carves the scope down to what you genuinely need on day one — and refuses to bolt on the things that look good in a slide deck but do not move the business.

I am RH Fardin and I have been writing custom tools for Bangladeshi businesses for about five years — POS for small retail chains, inventory and dispatch for distributors, simple ERP layers for garment subcontractors, booking systems for clinics, school admin tools, and dashboards that pull from bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz and Pathao. I do all of it myself, which is the only reason an affordable price can also be a real piece of software. There is no project manager between you and the code. The person you message at 11pm with a bug is the person who wrote the bug.

The realistic floor for genuine custom software in BD is around 3,00,000 BDT. Below that you are not actually getting custom software — you are getting a WordPress site, a Bubble.io prototype, or a Google Sheet with a form on top. Those are all fine starting points and I build them too, from 50,000 BDT to 1,50,000 BDT, if that is what your business actually needs. I will tell you which one fits before you pay a taka, and I will tell you straight if a 50,000 BDT website plus a smart spreadsheet workflow would beat a half-built custom tool.

What I will not do is take your money for a cheap quote, vanish for three months, hand you a half-broken admin panel, and then quietly raise the price when bugs show up. The whole point of working with one senior operator is that you get one number, one timeline, one accountable human, and software that survives past launch week.

What's included

What makes the price defensible

Six things that decide whether "cheap custom software" in Bangladesh is actually a bargain or a future invoice.

01

Honest scope first

Before a quote, I spend an hour mapping your real workflow — the 4 things you do daily, not the 40 things you might do someday. Removing 60% of the feature list is how the price stays at 3,00,000 BDT instead of 7,00,000 BDT.

02

One senior, no handoffs

Discovery, database design, backend, frontend, deployment, training — same person, every step. You are not paying for 4 layers of project management that pad every agency invoice in Dhaka.

03

Fixed price, no surprise bills

Custom software gets one number and a written scope. If you add a new module later, you see the price for that module before any work starts. No “unfortunately due to additional complexity” emails mid-build.

04

Built for BD reality

bKash and Nagad webhooks, Pathao and Steadfast courier APIs, SSLCommerz, BDT formatting, Bangla typing in forms, slow-network states for upcountry users — these are baked in, not billed as “phase two integrations”.

05

You own everything

Full source code, database, server access, domain, repository — yours, in writing, on day one of launch. If you ever want a different developer to take over, the handover takes an hour, not a lawsuit.

06

Maintainable code, not magic

Plain PHP/Laravel, Next.js or Node — boring, well-documented, the kind any mid-level dev in Bangladesh can pick up. “Cheap” means cheap to maintain too, not just cheap to buy.

In focus

Why most cheap custom software in Bangladesh has to be rebuilt

I get one or two rescue projects every quarter that all sound the same. A business owner in Dhaka or Chattogram paid 70,000 to 1,20,000 BDT for “custom software” — usually a POS, a small ERP, or a school management tool. It worked for the first month. Then the staff complained the search was slow, the salesperson could not undo a wrong invoice, the bKash auto-confirmation never matched the right order, the database started corrupting itself, and the original developer stopped replying on Messenger. By the time it lands on my desk, the owner has lost three months and is paying me a second time to write what should have been written once.

Genuine affordable custom software is not about underbidding the lowest quote in Bangladesh — it is about cutting scope intelligently so the price comes down without the foundation getting weak. That is why I will sometimes look at your requirements and tell you, plainly, that a 90,000 BDT WordPress site with WooCommerce and a couple of custom plugins will outperform a 2,00,000 BDT half-custom tool for your stage. The cheapest software is the one you do not have to throw away.

If your business genuinely needs custom logic — multi-branch inventory, role-based pricing, automated dispatch, complex commission rules, anything you cannot fake with a template — then the honest floor is 3,00,000 BDT, and I would rather you understand why than promise you a number I cannot deliver.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The six questions I get every week from business owners shopping for cheap custom software in BD.

Custom software development koto taka in Bangladesh?

Realistic floor for true custom software is 3,00,000 BDT. A simple internal tool with one user role, one or two workflows, and a basic dashboard sits around 3,00,000 to 4,50,000 BDT. Multi-role POS, inventory, or booking systems with bKash/Nagad and courier integration usually run 5,00,000 to 9,00,000 BDT. Anything cheaper than that is either a website (50,000 to 1,50,000 BDT) or a no-code prototype — both of which I also build and will recommend if they fit.

Can I get real custom software under 1,00,000 BDT in BD?

Not honestly. Anyone quoting 50,000 to 90,000 BDT for “custom software” is selling you a heavily themed WordPress site, a Bubble prototype, or 100 hours of code with no plan for what comes after launch. If your budget genuinely caps at 1,00,000 BDT, I will tell you straight — either we scope a website with WooCommerce or Gravity Forms for your need, or we wait until the budget is right. I will not take your money for software I know will break.

How long does a custom software build take?

Discovery and scope: 1 to 2 weeks. Build for a focused tool (POS, small ERP, booking, dispatch): 6 to 10 weeks. Larger multi-role systems: 3 to 5 months. You get a written week-by-week plan before you pay the 50% advance, and a working staging URL within the first 3 weeks so you are not waiting blind.

Will it work with bKash, Nagad and local couriers?

Yes — bKash and Nagad payment confirmation, SSLCommerz checkout, Pathao Courier and Steadfast pickup creation, and SMS notifications via local gateways like BulkSMSBD or SSL Wireless are standard, not add-ons. If you are taking money or shipping anything inside Bangladesh, those integrations are part of the base build, not a phase-two charge.

Do I own the source code?

Completely, in writing, from launch day. Full repository access, the production database, the server, the domain, the deployment scripts. If you decide to bring it in-house or hand it to another developer in Bangladesh later, there is nothing locked behind me. That is the entire point of paying a senior once instead of renting software forever.

What does cheap custom software cost to maintain after launch?

I keep a 3-month bug-fix window included in the build price — if I broke it, I fix it free. After that, ongoing maintenance (small features, security patches, server upkeep) usually runs 8,000 to 25,000 BDT per month depending on traffic and how often you want new features. No mandatory retainer — you only pay for months you actually use.
