Cheap build, lean bill
"Cheap Shopify" has two prices - and most people only count one
Most Dhanmondi founders asking for a cheap Shopify store are only looking at the one-time build cost. That is half the bill. Shopify charges you in US dollars every single month - the Basic plan alone is roughly a few thousand taka before a single order comes in, and that never stops while the store is live. So the honest version of "low cost Shopify store development in Dhanmondi" is not just a cheap quote up front.
It is a build done correctly the first time so you are not paying again in eight months, plus an app stack kept deliberately lean so the recurring dollar bill does not creep past what your store actually makes on a slow week around the lake.
That second price is where cheap Shopify stores go bad. A founder near Satmasjid Road or Road 27 gets handed a renamed Dawn theme for a low quote, then gets quietly signed up for a popup app, a reviews app, a currency app, a "cash on delivery" app and an upsell app - each ten to thirty dollars a month. Add the platform fee and the store is bleeding fifty-plus dollars monthly before profit, on a catalogue that could be a Facebook page.
The up-front quote was cheap; the store is not. I build the opposite way: as much as possible into the theme with native Liquid, and only the paid apps that genuinely earn their fee for a Bangladeshi store, with a written list of what each one costs and why.
I am one senior developer with around five years building ecommerce for the Bangladesh market, and I do the whole thing myself - theme customization, Liquid, bKash and Nagad gateway setup, courier wiring, speed, Bangla typography. No junior practising on your store, no white-label reseller marking up a cheaper builder in the middle, no account manager turning your message into a ticket. When you ask why checkout behaves a certain way, you are asking the person who configured it. That is what keeps a cheap Shopify build coherent instead of a pile of apps duct-taped over a default theme.
Pricing is flat and on the table before you commit: 50,000 BDT to start, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT for bigger catalogues and a more serious brand build, fully custom from 3,00,000 BDT. Fifty percent to begin, fifty on launch. You approve the full design on screen before I touch a line of Liquid - the design-approval guarantee. And to be clear about the one number I cannot make cheap: Shopify's own monthly subscription is paid by you, directly to Shopify, in dollars. What I control is your build cost and your paid-app spend, and I keep both as lean as the store can stand.
