For the 50,000 BDT tier no, we can use your personal bKash and Nagad numbers and add proper merchant integration later. For 90,000 BDT and above you will want the merchant accounts because the API gives customers a real payment screen instead of a manual transaction-ID box. Trade License is needed for bKash merchant approval, not for me to start building. We can build and test in parallel while your paperwork moves.
Yes. Default setup uses three zones: inside Dhaka (60 to 80 BDT depending on your courier), Dhaka sub-area like Savar and Keraniganj (100 to 130 BDT), and outside Dhaka (130 to 170 BDT). You set the exact rates in the admin panel and they update everywhere instantly. Free-delivery thresholds and conditional logic, like free shipping above 2,000 BDT, are included from the 90,000 BDT tier.
Yes, and they should. Forcing account signup is one of the top three conversion killers in Bangladesh. The default flow is guest checkout: name, phone, address, payment method, done. Phone number becomes the identifier so when they come back to order, the system recognises them by OTP without asking for a password. Account creation is optional, not required.
Built into the admin from day one. Each order has a status pipeline: confirmed, packed, handed to courier, delivered, returned, refunded. If a Dhaka customer refuses delivery, the courier marks return, your packer updates stock with one click, and the customer's phone number gets a strike. Three strikes inside 60 days and that number is auto-blocked from placing fresh COD orders. Refunds via bKash send-money are logged manually with reference number for your accountant.
Starter tier at 50,000 BDT goes live in 12 to 18 working days from advance payment. Mid tier 90,000 BDT takes 18 to 28 days because of payment gateway approval timelines (bKash merchant API usually takes 7 to 10 working days on their side, which I cannot speed up). Full tier 1,50,000 BDT is 25 to 35 days. Custom builds are quoted with a Gantt-style timeline before contract.
