Online Shop Website Design BD

An online shop website built around how Bangladeshis actually buy — bKash, Nagad, COD, mobile-first, no abandoned carts on slow 3G.

I personally design and develop online shop websites for sellers across Bangladesh — from a small Instagram boutique going proper to a multi-category store leaving Facebook DMs behind. No template marketplaces, no juniors. Just a senior operator who has shipped real BD stores and knows where the orders leak.

Starts at 50,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee — I keep iterating until you sign off.

Built for BD buyers

Online shops that actually take orders in Bangladesh

Most online shop websites in BD get one thing wrong from day one: they are designed for a desktop buyer who does not exist. Your customer is on a 6-inch phone, on patchy 4G in Banani or Bogura, with three other tabs open. If your product page takes 7 seconds to load, asks for sign-up before checkout, or hides the bKash logo, the order goes to a competitor with a louder Facebook page. I build for that exact reality.

I am RH Fardin, a Bangladeshi website designer and developer with around five years of shipping real stores — fashion, electronics, beauty, grocery, home goods. Every online shop website design I deliver is hand-built around your catalogue, your margins, your delivery zones, and your real checkout habits. No copy-paste Shopify themes pretending to be tailored work.

What that means in practice: a product grid that loads fast on a Samsung A-series, filters that match how BD shoppers actually search (size, brand, EMI, free delivery), a checkout that accepts bKash, Nagad, Rocket and cash on delivery without making the buyer create an account, and an order panel you can manage from your phone while you are on the go.

And because I run this solo, the person you call about a homepage banner at 9 PM is the same person who wrote the checkout code. No project manager middle layer, no ticket queue. You message, I respond, the change ships.

What's included

Why sellers in Bangladesh hire me for their online shop

Six things I bake into every online shop website design — because they are what separate a store that takes daily orders from a store that becomes a sunk cost.

01

bKash + Nagad first

Checkout is built around the three payments BD buyers actually use — bKash, Nagad, Rocket — plus cash on delivery as a one-tap default. Card and SSLCommerz added when your volume justifies the fees.

02

Mobile-first, 3G-friendly

Product pages, images, and scripts are tuned to load fast on mid-range Android phones outside Dhaka. I test on real slow networks, not just on a MacBook with fiber broadband.

03

Guest checkout default

No forced sign-up. Buyer enters name, phone, address, picks bKash or COD, done. Account creation is optional, post-purchase. This single decision recovers more carts than any pop-up tool.

04

Delivery zones built in

Inside Dhaka, outside Dhaka, free over a threshold, RedX or Pathao or Steadfast pickup — all configurable, all shown on the product page so buyers do not get surprise charges at checkout.

05

Phone-managed admin

You will manage orders from your phone, not a laptop. The admin is designed for a 6-inch screen — accept, mark dispatched, paste a courier tracking number, get back to packing.

06

Built to be found

Clean URLs, structured data for products and reviews, fast Core Web Vitals, on-page SEO for category and product pages — so you eventually stop renting traffic from Facebook Ads forever.

In focus

What actually drives orders on a BD online shop (and what wastes your money)

After about five years building online shops for Bangladeshi sellers, the pattern is brutally clear. The websites that print orders share four things: a checkout under 60 seconds with bKash and COD on the same screen, product images shot consistently (not a mix of WhatsApp forwards and lifestyle stock), a product page that loads in under three seconds on 4G, and a visible delivery cost before the user is asked for an address. Get those four right and a 50,000 BDT site outperforms most 2,00,000 BDT theme builds in the wild.

What wastes your money: fancy parallax homepages no one scrolls past, a chatbot that pops up before the product loads, a 30-photo carousel that destroys mobile data plans, and a 'sign up to checkout' screen that kills 40 to 60 percent of warm buyers. I will tell you no on those, politely but firmly. The goal is daily orders, not a website your friends compliment.

Start at 50,000 BDT for a focused single-category store, 90,000 BDT for a multi-category shop with category filters and proper SEO foundations, or 1,50,000 BDT for a larger catalogue with EMI, multi-courier integration, and customer accounts. Anything heavier — wholesale portals, marketplace logic, multi-vendor — is a custom build from 3,00,000 BDT.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Bangladeshi shop owners ask me before we start. Honest answers below.

Online shop website design koto taka in Bangladesh?

Starts at 50,000 BDT for a focused single-category store with bKash, Nagad and COD checkout. A multi-category shop with filters and proper SEO runs around 90,000 BDT. Larger catalogues with EMI, customer accounts and multi-courier integration sit at 1,50,000 BDT. Wholesale, multi-vendor or marketplace builds are custom from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Can you integrate bKash, Nagad and cash on delivery on the same checkout?

Yes — and that is the default, not an add-on. Buyers pick bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or COD on a single screen, no account required. For bKash and Nagad I can wire up either the official payment gateway (when your volume justifies it) or a manual confirmation flow with auto-generated reference numbers — whichever fits your stage.

Will the online shop be mobile-friendly on slow networks outside Dhaka?

Yes — that is the priority, not an afterthought. I test on real mid-range Android phones on 4G and throttled connections. Images are optimised, scripts are kept lean, and product pages typically load in under three seconds on a normal Banglalink or Robi connection. Buyers in Sylhet, Khulna or Rangpur should not be punished for living outside Gulshan.

Do I need a courier integration with Pathao, RedX or Steadfast?

Not on day one. Most sellers start with manual dispatch — you copy the order, book the courier in their app, paste the tracking number back. Once you cross around 20 to 30 orders a day, an API integration starts saving real time. I will tell you honestly when you are ready, instead of charging for it upfront.

Can you build this on Shopify, WooCommerce or something custom?

Depends on your catalogue and your roadmap. For most BD shops under a few thousand SKUs, a clean WooCommerce or a custom lightweight stack works better than Shopify — lower monthly cost, full control over bKash and COD flows, and no per-transaction Shopify fees eating your margin. For higher-volume or unique flows, I will recommend what fits, not what is easiest for me to ship.

How long does it take to launch an online shop website?

A 50,000 BDT focused store goes live in roughly two to three weeks once you give me product photos, descriptions, courier zones, and bKash details. A 90,000 BDT multi-category shop takes about three to four weeks. The honest bottleneck is almost always content — clean product photos and accurate stock data — not code. I will give you a checklist so you do not slow yourself down.
