Best Ecommerce Website Development Company in Bangladesh

The best ecommerce website development company in Bangladesh is, honestly, the one person who builds your store and answers when something breaks.

I am RH Fardin. I design, code and ship every store myself. No juniors and no handoffs. I handle the whole stack: bKash, Nagad, SSLCOMMERZ, cash on delivery, Pathao and Steadfast couriers, and Bengali typography. Stores start at 50,000 BDT, with 50% advance and 50% on launch.

5 years building stores for Bangladeshi sellers. Design-approval guarantee: you sign off before a single line of code.

About the person actually building it

Why "best ecommerce company in Bangladesh" usually means one good operator, not a 40-person office

Most shop owners who look for the best ecommerce website development company in Bangladesh have already been burned once. They paid an agency in Dhanmondi or Banani 80,000 BDT for an ecommerce site. They got a slow Shopify clone, and the bKash payment never really worked. Now the salesperson who closed the deal does not pick up the phone.

The store just sits there. It takes maybe one COD order a week from a Facebook ad. Meanwhile, they pay another 8,000 BDT a month for hosting they do not understand.

I am RH Fardin. I have been building websites for about five years, and ecommerce is most of what I do now. I am one person. No junior pushes buttons in WordPress. No project manager forwards your emails. No sales rep oversells features I can't deliver.

You talk to me on WhatsApp. I design the store, write the code, connect the payment gateways and push it live. I am also the one who answers when the courier API breaks at 11pm.

The "best" ecommerce developer in Bangladesh is not about office size or a shiny landing page. It is about real experience. Has the developer shipped a working bKash personal payment flow? Do they know SSLCOMMERZ sandbox keys from live keys? Do they know why Pathao Courier rejects bookings when the address is too short?

Have they sat on a midnight call with a client in Khulna whom Daraz just dropped, who needs their own store live by morning? I have.

If you want a glossy pitch deck, an agency with marble floors in Gulshan will do better than me. But maybe you want someone who personally makes sure a customer in Sylhet can pay 1,250 taka through bKash and get a confirmation SMS. Then we should talk.

What's included

What "best" actually means for an ecommerce store in Bangladesh

Six things separate a store that earns from a store that just exists. They are standard in every project I build. None of them are upsells.

01

Real BD payment stack

You get bKash (merchant or personal), Nagad, Rocket, SSLCOMMERZ and a clean cash-on-delivery flow with phone order checks. I test it all in live mode with real 1 taka payments before launch.

02

Pathao and Steadfast

I connect the courier APIs, so you create a consignment ID from the order panel in two clicks. No more copying addresses into the Pathao merchant dashboard, tab by tab, when 40 orders come in.

03

Mobile-first, period

About 9 out of 10 Bangladeshi shoppers reach your store from a phone on mobile data. I design the mobile view first. Product pages load fast on a 3G connection in Bogura, not just on fibre in Dhaka.

04

Bengali + English

Product names, categories and checkout labels work in both Bangla and English without breaking the layout. Bangla SMS confirmation templates connect to bulk SMS providers like SSL Wireless or BulkSMSBD.

05

You actually own it

You get full admin access from day one and your domain in your name. Hosting sits on cPanel or Vercel under your account. If you ever want to leave me, you take the whole store with you. No hostage situation.

06

One person, one inbox

Every message comes to me. No "please coordinate with our project manager" delays. If a refund button breaks during Eid sales, I fix it myself. It doesn't sit in a ticket queue.

How to tell a real ecommerce developer from a reseller in Bangladesh

Half the "ecommerce companies" on Facebook in Bangladesh are not building anything. They install a free WooCommerce theme, add your logo, charge you 35,000 BDT and disappear. You can spot them with three questions. Which payment gateway have they connected in live mode, not just sandbox? Can they show you the admin panel of a store they shipped this year? And who exactly will write your code?

Vague answers, stock screenshots or "our team" with no names all point the same way. You would be paying a reseller, not a developer.

A real ecommerce build for a Bangladeshi seller takes about 4 to 7 weeks, depending on catalogue size and integrations. The 50,000 BDT starter tier covers a clean catalogue store with bKash personal, COD and one courier. The 90,000 BDT tier adds the SSLCOMMERZ merchant gateway, product variants, customer accounts and proper invoices.

The 1,50,000 BDT tier is for sellers with real volume. It adds multi-vendor support, stock sync, abandoned cart recovery, and Meta Pixel plus GA4 set up correctly. Custom builds start from 3,00,000 BDT. Every tier is 50% advance and 50% on launch. I don't start writing code until you sign off on the design in Figma. That is the design-approval guarantee.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The six questions every Bangladeshi seller asks me before paying the advance.

Ecommerce website koto taka? What does the best ecommerce company in Bangladesh actually charge?

Here is the honest pricing. A starter store with bKash personal and COD starts at 50,000 BDT. The mid tier, with the SSLCOMMERZ merchant gateway, variants and customer accounts, is 90,000 BDT. A full-feature store with abandoned cart, multi-courier and analytics is 1,50,000 BDT. Custom builds like marketplaces, multi-vendor stores and B2B portals start from 3,00,000 BDT. It is always 50% advance and 50% on launch. No hidden "plugin licence" fees get added later.

Why hire one person instead of an ecommerce agency in Dhaka?

An agency adds layers between you and the person building your store. Your message goes to a salesperson, then a project manager, then a junior developer who joined three months ago. When something breaks at 10pm during your Eid campaign, you can't reach anyone. With me, you message on WhatsApp and the person who wrote the code answers.

Can you integrate bKash personal account, not just the merchant gateway?

Yes. Most early-stage Bangladeshi sellers can't get the bKash payment gateway approved, because they don't have a registered company yet. So I build a bKash personal flow. It has a transaction ID field, an automatic SMS check request and a manual confirm button in the admin. When you grow into a registered business, I switch you to the proper bKash merchant gateway without rebuilding the site.

How long does it take to launch an ecommerce store in Bangladesh?

The starter tier takes about 4 weeks from the advance payment. The mid tier takes 5 to 6 weeks. The full tier or custom builds take 7 to 10 weeks, depending on integrations. The clock only starts when you send the product list, brand assets and bKash or Nagad details. Most delays in BD ecommerce projects come from the seller side, not the developer side. So I am strict about asset deadlines.

Do you build on WooCommerce, Shopify or custom?

It depends on the store. For most Bangladeshi sellers with under 500 SKUs, WooCommerce on a fast VPS is the right call. The monthly cost stays low, and bKash and Nagad plugins are mature. Shopify makes sense if you also sell abroad and want zero server work. But its monthly USD cost hurts at small scale. Custom Next.js builds are for marketplaces or stores with real speed needs. I'll tell you which one fits, not push the one I like to build.

What happens after the store launches? Do you disappear?

Every project comes with 30 days of free fixes after launch for anything I built. After that, monthly maintenance is optional, at about 5,000 BDT a month. It covers updates, security patches, backup checks and small content changes. Most clients take it for the first 3 months and then switch to on-demand help. You always own the site fully, so you can hire anyone else later if you want.
