Website Design and Development Price in Bangladesh — The Honest Numbers

Most people land here after three agencies gave three wildly different quotes for the same site. Here is what website design and development actually costs in Bangladesh, what moves the price up or down, and what you get for it — written by the person who will build your site, not a salesperson.

Around 5 years building sites in BD · One senior developer, start to finish · Fixed quote before you pay a taka · 50% advance, 50% on launch

Who is quoting you

One developer, one price, no markup for middlemen

I'm RH Fardin. I design and build websites in Bangladesh, and I do it alone — no team of juniors learning on your project, no account manager adding their cut to the invoice. When I send you a price for website design and development, that number reflects the actual hours of design, build and testing the site needs, not an agency's office rent and headcount.

That matters for price more than people realise. A lot of the quotes floating around BD are padded because three or four people touch the project and each one has to get paid. With me, the same person who quotes you is the person at the keyboard. Less overhead, fewer handoffs, and a price you can actually reason about line by line.

I've been doing this for roughly five years across business sites, portfolios, service-company landing pages and ecommerce. Long enough to know what a project really takes — which means I can quote tight without lowballing you into a half-finished site, and without inflating it to cover risk I've learned to manage.

If you want the cheapest possible site, I'm probably not your person, and I'll tell you that on the call rather than waste your week. But if you want a fair, fixed price from someone who's accountable for the result, that's exactly what this page is about.

What's included

What the price actually buys you

Two sites can carry the same price tag and deliver completely different value. Here's what is baked into mine, so you're comparing like for like when other quotes come in.

01

Fixed quote upfront

You get one number in writing before any money changes hands. No 'final price after we start', no scope creep invoices landing mid-build. If the scope doesn't change, the price doesn't change.

02

Design and build together

The quote covers both the design and the actual development — not just a pretty Figma file you then have to pay someone else to code. One price, one person, one finished website that works.

03

Mobile-first by default

Most of your visitors in Bangladesh are on a phone, often on patchy data. Every price tier is built and tested mobile-first, so the site is fast and usable on the device your customers actually hold.

04

bKash & Nagad ready

If your site needs payments or a checkout, the quote accounts for connecting bKash, Nagad and card gateways properly — the local payment reality, not a US-only Stripe button that's useless to your buyers.

05

Design-approval guarantee

You sign off on the design before I build it. You're never paying the launch instalment for a look you didn't approve. The price protects you from the classic 'this isn't what I imagined' trap.

06

Built to be found

Clean, fast, SEO-ready code is part of the base price, not a separate upsell. A cheaper site that Google can't read costs you far more in lost customers than the gap in the quote.

In focus

What actually drives the price of a website in Bangladesh

The first question almost everyone asks is 'website koto taka?' — and the honest answer is that price depends on what the site has to do, not how many pages it has. My pricing starts at a floor of 50,000 BDT and runs in three tiers: 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT, with fully custom builds starting from 3,00,000 BDT. A clean business or portfolio site with a handful of pages, a contact form and solid mobile design sits at the lower tiers.

The price climbs when the work behind the screen grows: an online store with product management, bKash and Nagad checkout, and order handling; custom features built from scratch; bookings, logins, dashboards or anything that needs real backend logic. So a five-page site and a five-page store are not the same price, even though the page count is identical — the store is doing ten times the work.

A few other things move the number, and it's worth knowing them before you compare quotes. Who supplies the content matters: if you hand me finished text and photos, that's faster and cheaper than me writing copy and sourcing images for you. Custom design versus a polished template affects it too — bespoke layouts take more hours than refining a proven structure. And integrations add up: every payment gateway, CRM, WhatsApp button or third-party tool is real work to wire in correctly.

Payment is structured as 50% advance and 50% on launch across every tier, so you're never paying the full amount for an unfinished site. When someone quotes you 15,000 BDT for an 'ecommerce website', that price is telling you something — usually that it's a thin template with no proper local payments, no support, and someone who'll vanish after the advance clears. The right question isn't only what it costs, but what it costs you when it doesn't work.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions I get most often about website design and development pricing in Bangladesh — answered straight.

Website design and development koto taka in Bangladesh?

Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT and runs in three tiers — 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT — with fully custom builds from 3,00,000 BDT. Where you land depends on what the site does: a clean business or portfolio site sits at the lower tiers, while an online store with payments, custom features or backend logic moves up. I give you one fixed quote before you pay anything.

Why is your price higher than the 10,000–15,000 BDT quotes I'm seeing?

Because those quotes and my work aren't the same product. At that price you're getting a thin template, often no proper bKash or Nagad setup, no testing, and frequently someone who disappears after the advance. My price covers real design, hand-built development, mobile-first testing and a person who's accountable when something breaks. Cheap sites usually get rebuilt within a year, so you pay twice.

Can you give me an exact price without a long meeting?

Mostly, yes. Tell me what the site is for, roughly how many pages, whether you need payments or a store, and who's supplying the text and images. With that I can give you a tight fixed quote — usually a single tier rather than a vague range. The only time I need more detail is for custom builds with backend features, where the scope genuinely changes the price.

How does payment work — do I pay everything upfront?

No. It's 50% advance to start and 50% on launch, on every tier. You're never handing over the full amount for a site that isn't finished. I accept the local methods you'd expect, so paying the advance via bKash or Nagad is straightforward, and the rest is due once the site is live and you're happy with it.

What if I don't like the design after I've paid the advance?

You approve the design before I build it — that's the design-approval guarantee. The advance gets us to a design you sign off on; I don't move into development until you're happy with how it looks. So you'll never reach the launch instalment paying for a look you never agreed to. It takes the biggest risk out of the price.

Will a cheaper site actually cost me more later?

Often, yes. A site that's slow on mobile, that Google can't read, or that breaks at checkout quietly costs you customers every day it's live — and that lost business usually dwarfs the gap between a cheap quote and a proper one. Add the cost of rebuilding it when it fails, and the 'expensive' option is frequently the cheaper one over two years.
