Web Application Development in Bangladesh

Web application development in Bangladesh, built one carefully on the keyboard you are talking to.

Most teams in Dhaka, Chattogram and Rajshahi do not need another generic website. They need a working tool: an order panel that replaces a WhatsApp group, an inventory dashboard that knows the godown, a member portal that handles bKash and Nagad without a human in the middle. I plan, design, build and ship that tool myself. Starts at 50,000 BDT, 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Around five years building production web apps for Bangladeshi businesses. One operator from kickoff to handover.

Solo senior web app developer in Bangladesh

Built by one person who actually understands your workflow

Almost every web app brief I get in Bangladesh starts the same way: a printed Excel sheet, a WhatsApp group with 47 unread messages, and one tired person who has been the system for the last three years. The brief is never really "build me software." It is "please make this stop being held together by my memory." That is the lens I design every web application around.

I am RH Fardin, an independent web designer and developer working out of Bangladesh, with roughly five years of full-time experience shipping web applications for local businesses, agencies and overseas founders. I do the discovery, the data model, the UI, the front-end, the back-end glue, the deployment and the handover documentation. There is no account manager forwarding your message to a junior who has never opened the project.

Because I am one person, I am picky about scope. I would rather ship a tightly-built order management panel in six weeks than promise an ERP in two months and limp into month five with half-broken modules. If your idea is genuinely large, I will tell you on the first call and we will agree on a phase-one that is small enough to actually launch and useful from day one.

I work on a flat 50% advance, 50% on launch structure, with a written design-approval gate before any heavy back-end work. If you do not approve the screens, we do not start building. That single rule has saved more Bangladeshi clients more money than any clever piece of code I have ever written.

What's included

Why founders in Bangladesh hire me directly

These are the things that actually matter when you are trying to replace a manual process with a real web application in BD, not the standard "24/7 support, world-class team" copy you see everywhere else.

01

One brain end-to-end

The person who sketches your dashboard is the person who writes the queries behind it. No game of telephone between sales, PM, designer and dev. Decisions stick because one head holds them.

02

Built for BD reality

bKash and Nagad payment flows, Bangla-friendly form labels, slow-3G mobile users in district towns, and the fact that half your team will use the app from a 4-year-old Android phone. All baked in.

03

Real data model first

Before a single screen is designed, we map your actual entities: orders, riders, SKUs, members, payments. Most BD web apps fail because someone designed pretty screens on top of a wrong data model.

04

Honest scope, written

You get a one-page scope sheet listing exactly which screens, roles and flows are in phase one. "Just add a small report" gets logged as phase two, not silently absorbed and missed.

05

Design approval guarantee

Build does not begin until you sign off on the screens. If something looks off in the prototype, we fix it on the design file, not after the database is half wired up to it.

06

You own everything

Source code, database, hosting account, domain, repository. On launch day I hand over credentials and a short Loom video walking through how the system fits together, in plain English.

In focus

What a real web application looks like for a Bangladeshi business

When a Dhaka-based distributor asks me for a web application, what they often need is a multi-role panel: admin sees everything, sales reps see only their territory, riders see only today's delivery list with a one-tap status update, and the accounts person sees a clean view of unpaid invoices with WhatsApp reminder buttons next to each name. None of that needs a fancy ERP. It needs a focused web app, designed around the four people who will actually open it every day. That is the kind of thing I build, and I build it so it runs comfortably on a mid-range Android over a patchy mobile connection in Savar or Narayanganj, not just on a 27-inch monitor in Gulshan.

Web application work in Bangladesh also has a quiet trust problem. Founders have been burned before: a freelancer disappeared mid-project, an agency handed over a half-finished WordPress site dressed up as "custom software," or a junior developer built something that only he could touch. I work around that by writing your scope down, using a public repository you control, deploying to your own hosting account, and refusing to start the build phase until the design is approved on paper.

The 50,000 BDT entry point is for a tight, single-purpose internal tool; serious multi-role applications usually land in the 1,50,000 BDT range, and fully custom platforms start at 3,00,000 BDT. You will know which bucket you fit into within fifteen minutes of our first call.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Honest answers to what people in Bangladesh actually ask before hiring me to build a web application.

Web application development er khoroch koto taka in Bangladesh?

A focused single-role internal tool, like a simple order panel or booking system, starts at 50,000 BDT. A more typical multi-role web app with dashboards and roles sits around 90,000 to 1,50,000 BDT. Fully custom platforms with payment integration, complex permissions and reporting begin at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Are you a company or a solo developer?

Solo. RH Fardin is one person, not an agency with a sales team in front and juniors in the back. You get my direct WhatsApp, my voice on calls, and my hands on the code. The trade-off is honest: I take fewer projects per year and I will tell you on the first call if your timeline is unrealistic for one operator.

Can you integrate bKash, Nagad and SSLCommerz into the web application?

Yes. For most BD-facing apps I use SSLCommerz as the gateway because it covers bKash, Nagad, Rocket and cards in one integration. If you have a direct bKash or Nagad merchant account, I can wire those in too. The cost depends on whether you already have merchant accounts approved; we will sort that out in the discovery call before quoting.

How long does a typical web app take from kickoff to launch?

A tight phase-one internal tool, around four to six weeks. A multi-role panel with dashboards and payments, eight to twelve weeks. Anything I cannot honestly ship within twelve weeks alone, I split into phases and we agree on which slice goes live first. I would rather promise less and launch on time than collect advance for a vague timeline.

Will it work properly on cheap Android phones over mobile data?

Yes, that is a hard requirement on every BD project I take. Most internal users in Bangladesh, especially riders, field sales and small-shop owners, are not on iPhones with Wi-Fi. I test the app on a real mid-range Android over throttled mobile data before handing it over, not just on my laptop in Chrome.

What happens after launch? Am I stuck with you for hosting and updates?

No, and that is the whole point. On launch day you receive the source code, the database, the hosting and domain credentials, and a walkthrough video. You can keep working with me on a monthly retainer for changes and support, or hand the project to your own developer later. Nothing is locked behind me.
