An actual Shopify expert spends the first two days asking questions you have not thought about: what is your average order value, what is your courier rejection rate by district, where do you lose buyers in the funnel today, do you ship Saturday, do you need invoice in Bangla for B2B, how do you handle a buyer who orders three sizes intending to keep one. Shopify does not officially support bKash and Nagad as native gateways yet in Bangladesh, so the standard route is through SSLCOMMERZ or aamarPay payment aggregators, which give you bKash, Nagad, Rocket, all major cards, and bank transfers in one integration. I set this up, including the merchant account paperwork guidance, fee structure, and the test transactions. COD is configured separately with phone verification.
Yes. I integrate Pathao, Steadfast, RedX, and Sundarban using their public APIs or available Shopify apps, depending on which courier you actually use. The integration covers live shipping rate at checkout, order push to courier, label generation, and tracking link to the customer. If you use multiple couriers by zone, I set up the routing logic too.
A 'Shopify developer' at 10,000 BDT can install a theme and add your products. A Shopify expert at 50,000 BDT plus is someone who has actually launched stores, watched what breaks in production with Bangladeshi buyers, knows which apps to avoid, can write Liquid and use the Storefront API when needed, and will catch the COD fraud pattern from Cumilla before it costs you 40,000 BDT in failed deliveries. You are paying for experience, not hours.
Yes. That is a hard requirement of how I work. After launch I do a handover session (in person in Dhaka if convenient, or on a call), record Loom videos in Bangla and English for the things your team will do weekly — add product, run a discount, update banner, check orders, print labels, pull a sales report.
