About the developer
One senior Shopify developer in Bangladesh, not a reseller funnel
Most Dhaka merchants who hire a "Shopify agency" end up paying for a project manager, a junior theme installer, and a markup, then chasing WhatsApp replies when checkout breaks on Eid sales day. I do the work myself — I am RH Fardin, a solo Shopify and web developer with around five years building real stores for businesses in Bangladesh and abroad, and the person you talk to in the first call is the person writing the Liquid and shipping the theme.
Shopify is the platform, not the project. The hard part is making it sell to a Dhanmondi shopper on a mid-range Xiaomi over an unreliable 4G connection, who wants to pay cash on delivery, ask one question first, and trust a brand she has never heard of. That means custom theme work, not just picking a Dawn variant. It means a checkout that does not throw shoppers off when bKash is the preferred method but the store technically only supports card and COD. It means product photography rules, Bangla-friendly typography, and shipping zones that actually match how Sundarban, RedX, and Steadfast operate inside Dhaka and to outside zilas.
I have built Shopify stores for fashion brands targeting Bashundhara and Banani shoppers, for FMCG resellers using Facebook ads as their only traffic channel, and for niche import sellers shipping from Old Dhaka warehouses to all 64 districts. Each store gets the same senior attention: a discovery call to understand product, margin, and customer; a flat scope I will not creep on; and a build that is documented so you can run it without me on day two.
I work from Bangladesh, I price in BDT, I take 50% advance and 50% on launch, and I do not vanish after handover. If your Shopify store needs to do real revenue in Dhaka, this is the right kind of relationship.
