Why Dhaka founders pay extra to work with one senior operator
The pattern I see every week in Dhaka: a founder pays a mid-tier agency, gets a slick proposal, and three months later inherits a half-finished WooCommerce site where bKash never worked, the courier integration is fake, and product variations break on a Xiaomi Redmi. The reason is almost always the same. The senior person who pitched is not the one who built. They handed it to a junior, the junior googled, and the founder is left chasing a project manager who has not opened the codebase in weeks.
I built my practice around being the opposite of that. As an online store development expert in Dhaka, I personally do the strategy call, the design, the WooCommerce or Shopify build, the bKash and Nagad integration, the SteadFast or Pathao courier API hookup, the Meta Pixel and GA4 setup, and the post-launch fix when a customer in Mirpur cannot complete checkout on her old browser. There is no handoff because there is nobody to hand off to.
Around five years of doing this in Bangladesh means I know which plugins quietly slow your site down by 2 seconds, which themes have hidden licence traps, why Aamarpay sometimes fails on the third retry, and how to structure product attributes so your admin team in Bashundhara can actually add 200 SKUs a month without crying. That is not theory. That is the kind of knowledge you only get from sitting in the same dashboard, in the same market, for years.
I am not the cheapest. The floor is 50,000 BDT for a small starter store, 90,000 BDT for a proper conversion-focused build, 1,50,000 BDT for a richer multi-category store, and custom work starts at 3,00,000 BDT. What you get back is one accountable person, a design you approve before code begins, and a store that still works the month after launch.
