Mobile App Development Service BD

A mobile app development service in BD where the person who scopes the app is the same person who designs the screens, ships the build and answers your WhatsApp at 11pm.

Most app shops in Bangladesh sell you a logo-wall and hand the actual work to two interns. I run a one-person operation: discovery call, Figma flow, build, store submission, post-launch fixes — all me. Web-app start from 50,000 BDT, native Android or iOS quotes start at 3,00,000 BDT, payment is 50% advance and 50% on launch, and you don't pay the second half until you've approved what you see.

About the service

What you're actually buying when you hire this mobile app development service in BD

Every founder who messages me about mobile app development in BD asks the same opening question - "app banaite koto taka lagbe?" - and almost every agency answers it the same wrong way: a single number with no scope behind it. That's how projects in Dhaka and Chattogram quietly balloon from 1,50,000 to 6,00,000 BDT and arrive six months late. This service is built around the opposite habit. We talk through what the app actually does, what screens it needs, what your customers will do on it from a 4G connection on a low-end Android, and only then do you get a written number you can plan a year of cash flow around.

The service covers the full journey: a discovery call (free, usually 45 minutes), a written scope and price, a Figma prototype you can click through on your phone before a single line of code is written, the build itself, store submission for Google Play (and Apple App Store if you have an Apple developer account), and 30 days of post-launch fixes for anything I broke. Web-app and PWA work starts at 50,000 BDT.

The 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT tiers add scope - admin dashboards, payment integration, more screens. Full native Android or iOS work is a custom quote starting from 3,00,000 BDT, because that's the floor where native is honestly worth doing instead of a polished PWA.

What you don't get: a project manager who forwards your messages to a developer in another timezone, a "team" that turns out to be one person and a freelance designer in Pakistan, or a sales pitch followed by silence. You get me on WhatsApp, voice when you want it, screen-share when something's confusing, and a build that doesn't pretend bKash and Nagad don't exist. About five years of doing this for Bangladeshi businesses has taught me which corners actually save money and which ones turn into a 50,000 BDT rewrite six months later.

Payment is straightforward: 50% advance to start, 50% on launch. The design-approval guarantee is the part most clients tell me actually made them say yes - if the Figma prototype isn't something you'd be proud to show your customers, you don't pay the second half and you don't owe me the rest of the build. That's it. No 14-page contract, no "discovery fees," no surprise hosting charges on month two.

What's included

Why this service is different from the average app shop in Bangladesh

Six things I do differently from the standard mobile app development service in BD - and why each one saves you money or stress.

01

One senior, start to finish

The person on your discovery call is the same person writing the code at 2am the week before launch. No handoff to a junior, no information lost in translation between sales and dev.

02

Figma before code

You click through a working prototype of your app on your phone before I write a single line of code. Changes at the Figma stage cost zero. Changes after build cost money - so we get it right first.

03

bKash and Nagad - actually

Payment integration is scoped properly: bKash Tokenized Checkout, Nagad, SSLCOMMERZ, AamarPay - whichever fits your business model. Not a card-only Stripe stub that 80% of your customers can't use.

04

Built for 4G and Tk 3,000 phones

I test on a real low-end Android, not an iPhone Pro on Wi-Fi. Your app loads in under 4 seconds in Sylhet on patchy 4G, or I rebuild the part that doesn't.

05

Store submission included

Play Store submission, ASO basics, screenshots, store listing copy in Bangla and English. Apple App Store submission too if you provide the Apple developer account.

06

50% on launch, not before

Half the money is held until your app is in your hands and you've signed off. That alone filters out the agencies in BD that ghost clients halfway through a build.

In focus

Service, scope, price - the three questions every BD founder asks about a mobile app

When someone messages me about mobile app development service in BD, three questions decide whether the project happens. First: what tier do I need? If your app is essentially a shop, a booking flow, a dashboard, or a community feed - and you have under 50,000 active users in year one - a Progressive Web App built well will outperform a native app for less than half the money.

The 50,000 BDT entry tier handles a clean single-purpose PWA; 90,000 covers a richer product with admin panel and a payment gateway; 1,50,000 lets us add real polish, push notifications, offline mode and proper analytics. The 3,00,000-plus native tier is for when you genuinely need camera, GPS, background sync, Bluetooth, or App Store presence as a sales lever (fintech, ride-share, logistics, health). Most BD startups don't need native in year one and shouldn't pay for it.

Second: how long does it take? An honest answer is three to ten weeks depending on scope, and I tell you which week you're getting screens, which week you're getting beta, and which week the app submits to the store. Third - and this is the question Bangladesh founders are too polite to ask but it's the right one - what happens after launch? Every project includes 30 days of free post-launch fixes.

After that, I offer a small maintenance retainer (5,000 to 12,000 BDT per month) covering OS updates, hosting, monitoring and minor changes. No retainer is required - you own the code, the design files, the App Store account, the lot - but most clients keep me on because the person who built it can fix it in an hour where a new dev would take a week to find the bug.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Bangladeshi founders ask before booking the discovery call - answered the way I'd answer over chai.

App banate koto taka lagbe? What does this mobile app development service actually cost?

Honest range: web-app or PWA service starts at 50,000 BDT, the next tiers are 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT as scope grows, and a full native Android or iOS app is a custom quote starting at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch. The price you sign for is the price you pay - I do not bill change-orders for things we already scoped in writing.

Do you build native Android and iOS, or just hybrid and PWA?

All three, but I'll talk you out of native if you don't need it. Hybrid (React Native or Flutter) covers about 70% of what BD startups actually need at half the cost. Native is right when you need deep hardware features, App Store credibility for a fintech, or a UX that has to feel platform-perfect. I'll tell you straight in the discovery call which one fits.

Can you integrate bKash, Nagad, Rocket and SSLCOMMERZ properly?

Yes - this is the part most foreign and even local devs get wrong. I've done bKash Tokenized Checkout (the merchant API), Nagad, SSLCOMMERZ aggregator and AamarPay. We pick one or two based on your customer base, not all of them, because more gateways means more failure points and higher monthly fees.

Will my app work on cheap Android phones on slow internet?

Yes, because I test on one. I keep a Tk 4,000 Android handset on my desk and a network throttle set to "BD 4G in a basement." If your app drags on that, it doesn't ship. Bangladesh is not iPhone-Pro-on-fibre - building for the median user is the entire job.

What happens if I don't like the design? Do I lose my advance?

No. Design approval is the gate. If the Figma prototype isn't something you'd happily put your name on, we revise until it is, or we part ways and you keep what we made. The 50% advance covers the discovery and design work; the second 50% is only owed on a launched, approved app.

Do I own the code, the design files, the Play Store account?

Yes. All of it - source code in your GitHub, Figma files in your Figma workspace, Play Store under your developer account, App Store under yours if you set it up. I do not hostage-hold any asset. If you ever want to move to another developer, the handover is a 15-minute Zoom call.
