What actually drives mobile app pricing in Bangladesh
The two things that move the price more than anything else are (1) is this a website that feels like an app, or a real app, and (2) where does the data live. A responsive mobile site or a Progressive Web App (PWA) installed via "Add to Home Screen" can do 90% of what most Bangladeshi SMEs actually need: product catalogue, order form, bKash checkout, push-style notifications via WhatsApp or SMS, location pages.
That sits in the 50,000 to 1,50,000 BDT tiers and ships in 2 to 5 weeks. A true native or hybrid app on Play Store and App Store with login, real-time data, push notifications, offline mode and admin panel is a different project; that is where the 3,00,000 BDT floor for custom mobile work begins, and complex apps with riders, drivers, multi-vendor marketplaces or delivery routing climb from there.
The other quiet cost drivers most clients in Bangladesh do not see until later are: account ownership (your Play Console costs $25 one-time and must be in your name, not the developer's), backend hosting (a small app costs around 1,500 to 4,000 BDT per month on a proper cloud VPS, not free shared hosting that dies under load), iOS publishing if you need it (Apple charges $99 per year and demands a Mac for builds, which is real cost), and ongoing maintenance after Android version updates.
I tell you all of this in writing before you commit, so the "app er price" you agree to today is the price you actually pay. If your idea genuinely needs a 50,000 BDT solution, I will tell you. If it needs 5,00,000 BDT, I will tell you that too, with a line-by-line reason.
