Ecommerce Website Development Company BD

An ecommerce website development company in Bangladesh that ships stores built for how Bangladeshis actually buy.

Most ecommerce sites here lose the sale at checkout, not the product page. I build stores around bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery, fast on a phone, with an admin panel you can run from your own hand. One senior developer on your project start to finish, no junior hand-offs.

Around 5 years building sites in Bangladesh. Stores start at 50,000 BDT, 50% advance and 50% on launch, and nothing goes live until you approve the design.

Who builds your store

A real ecommerce developer, not an agency front desk

I'm RH Fardin, and I design and build every ecommerce site myself. When you message a typical "company" in Bangladesh you usually get a salesperson, then a quote, then a junior who actually touches the code while the senior name on the proposal disappears. With me, the person you talk to is the person writing the checkout logic and wiring your product catalogue. There is no team to manage and no one to hide behind.

Most of my work is fixing the same broken pattern: a store that looks fine on a laptop but fights the buyer on a 6-inch phone screen, where the add-to-cart button is buried, the bKash number is pasted in a caption, and the order "confirmation" is a Messenger reply at 11pm. I build the boring, load-bearing parts properly, product variants, stock, delivery charges by area, order status, so you are running a shop and not babysitting a Facebook page.

I've spent roughly 5 years building websites for Bangladeshi businesses, so I don't need the local context explained to me. I know the first question is almost always "koto taka?", I know your customers will judge trust in about three seconds, and I know that if the site is slow on mobile data they're gone. I build with that reality in front of me, not a Dribbble screenshot of a Western store that never has to think about cash-on-delivery.

I keep it deliberately small so quality stays high. I take a limited number of ecommerce projects at a time, I quote a real number up front, and I tell you plainly if what you want costs more than your budget allows, instead of saying yes and cutting corners you'll only discover after launch.

What's included

What you get from a one-person ecommerce shop

Six things that decide whether an online store in Bangladesh actually sells, and how I handle each one.

01

bKash & Nagad ready

Checkout is built around the payment methods your customers actually use, bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery, not just a card gateway most local buyers will never touch.

02

Cash-on-delivery flow

A proper COD path with order confirmation and delivery-charge logic by area, so you can ship outside Dhaka without doing the maths by hand on every order.

03

Fast on a phone

Built mobile-first and tuned for 4G, because the overwhelming majority of your traffic arrives on a phone and leaves if product images crawl in on a weak connection.

04

Admin you control

Add products, change prices, mark stock and check orders yourself from your phone or laptop. You won't have to message a developer every time you run a sale.

05

Trust that converts

Clear pricing, real contact info, return policy and delivery details placed where buyers look, so a first-time visitor believes you'll actually deliver the parcel.

06

Direct line to me

You message the developer, not a support queue. One senior operator owns your store from the first call through launch and the fixes after it.

In focus

Why ecommerce in Bangladesh is its own problem

An ecommerce store here is not a smaller version of a Western one, it is a different machine. Your buyer is on a phone, on mobile data, and most of them want to pay cash when the parcel reaches their hand, or send bKash or Nagad before it ships. A checkout that only takes cards is a checkout that loses Bangladeshi customers, and a store that hides the delivery charge until the last step loses them just as fast. I build the order flow around this from day one: bKash and Nagad as first-class options, a clean cash-on-delivery path, and delivery charges that adjust for inside-Dhaka versus the rest of the country so you're not editing every order manually.

Trust is the other half of the sale, and it is fragile online in Bangladesh because so many buyers have been burned by a Facebook "shop" that took advance payment and vanished. Your store has to answer the buyer's silent questions in seconds, who are you, will the product match the photo, what happens if I want to return it, and is there a real human behind this. I put genuine contact details, a clear return and delivery policy, honest product information and visible stock where people actually read them.

A real domain, a fast mobile site and a checkout that doesn't feel sketchy are worth more than any badge, and that is exactly what an ecommerce store built for this market needs to earn the first order, and the second.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Straight answers to what people actually ask before hiring someone to build an online store in Bangladesh.

Ecommerce website development koto taka in Bangladesh?

A working online store starts at 50,000 BDT. My tiers are 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT depending on how many products, payment methods and custom features you need, and fully custom builds start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance to begin and 50% on launch. I'll give you one clear number for your project, not a vague "it depends" that creeps up later.

What's the difference between hiring you and an ecommerce company or agency?

With an agency you usually get a salesperson up front and a junior doing the actual build, with the senior name on the proposal nowhere near your code. I'm a one-person operation, so the person who quotes you is the person who designs, builds and ships the store and answers when something breaks. Smaller overhead, no hand-offs, and a real number instead of a padded one.

Can the store take bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery?

Yes, that's the default, not an upsell. I build checkout around bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery because that's how most Bangladeshi buyers pay. Card gateways can be added too if you sell to customers who want them, but I won't force a store on you that ignores how your actual market pays.

Will I be able to add products and manage orders myself?

Yes. You get an admin panel where you add products, edit prices, update stock and see incoming orders from your phone or laptop. The whole point is that you run your shop day to day without paying a developer every time you change a price or launch a sale.

How long does it take to build an ecommerce site?

It depends on the product count and features, but most stores in the 50,000 to 1,50,000 BDT range land within a few weeks once I have your products, images and content. Custom builds take longer. The real delay is usually waiting on your product photos and descriptions, so the faster you send those, the faster you launch.

I sell on Facebook now, do I really need a website?

A Facebook page is fine for discovery, but it's a rented shop, the algorithm decides who sees you, checkout is a manual mess of comments and Messenger replies, and buyers can't tell you apart from a scam page. Your own store gives you a real checkout, a searchable catalogue, proper order records and the trust of an actual domain, while you keep using Facebook to drive people to it.
