Who sets the price
Why my digital marketing rates in Dhaka look different
Most digital marketing price lists in Dhaka are built backwards. The agency picks a round number, then stuffs whatever activities fit inside it — five Facebook posts, two boosted posts, a logo refresh nobody asked for. That is why the same 25,000 BDT package in Banani buys completely different things than the same 25,000 BDT package in Mirpur. I price the other way: I look at your funnel, decide what actually needs to move (footfall, leads on the website, bKash checkout completions, brand searches on Google), and quote against that.
I am RH Fardin and I have been running paid media and SEO for Bangladesh businesses for around five years — restaurants in Dhanmondi, real-estate developers in Bashundhara, B2B service firms selling into Motijheel, ecommerce brands shipping out of Tejgaon. The thing I keep seeing: clients in Dhaka over-pay for vanity (likes, reach, follower counts) and under-pay for the boring stuff that actually pays back — landing-page conversion rates, search-intent keyword research, retargeting set up properly, GA4 events that tie a Facebook click to a Nagad payment.
When I quote a digital marketing price for a Dhaka client, I do not pad it with juniors and account managers. There are no juniors here — I run the audit, write the ads, build the landing pages, manage the campaigns, and send the monthly report. That is why the floor is 50,000 BDT and not 8,000 BDT. It is also why clients stop chasing the cheapest quote on Facebook groups after working with me once.
Pricing is published, not negotiated. If you are based in Gulshan, Uttara or Savar, the rate is the same. If you ask for a discount, the honest answer is: I will reduce scope before I reduce price, because cutting price means cutting the hours I spend on your account, and that is the worst possible trade for both of us.
