Cheap Shopify Store Development in Chattogram

Cheap Shopify store development in Chattogram that actually opens for orders the way this port city already buys.

A live Shopify store from 50,000 BDT for a seller in Agrabad, GEC, Halishahar or Khulshi who is moving off a Facebook page. Mobile-first theme tuned for the mid-range Android your buyer is holding, your real products loaded, COD set as the default, a bKash and Nagad flow buyers trust, and an honest accounting of Shopify's monthly dollar bill before you pay a single taka. I am RH Fardin — one senior who designs, codes and ships the whole store. No agency floor, no junior, no reseller marking it up.

From 50,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee. One senior developer, ~5 years building stores for Bangladeshi sellers — pay by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer.

Honest cheap Shopify in Chattogram

In Chattogram, cheap Shopify usually means a free theme and a vanished developer — the monthly dollar bill is what finishes it off

You import or resell off the docks, or you run a clothing and gadget page out of GEC, and you are doing thirty to seventy orders a month in DMs. So you search "low cost Shopify store development in Chattogram" and someone on Facebook quotes you 12,000 to 18,000 taka. What that quote leaves out is everything that matters: Shopify charges roughly 29 USD every month, in dollars, on an international card most Chattogram sellers do not own; Shopify has no native bKash or Nagad; and the person quoting will be unreachable by the time your store throws a payment-hold banner mid-sale. The cheap number is not the deal. It is the bait.

I build these stores myself, start to finish. Every cheap Shopify project at 50,000 BDT is designed by me, coded by me in the Liquid theme, and tested on a real mid-range Android over Chattogram mobile data before it ever reaches you. After about five years building stores for Bangladeshi sellers, I have learned the first conversation is not about themes or colours — it is about the dollar question. Do you have a card that bills in USD?

If not, do we set you up with a virtual dollar card, or is your order volume honestly too low to carry Shopify's monthly fee at all? I would rather settle that on the first call than watch a brand-new Khulshi store go dark in week two when the trial ends and the charge fails.

The 50,000 BDT scope is deliberately tight, because tight is what keeps it honest at this price. You get a paid or properly customised free theme, up to roughly 30 of your real products loaded with BDT prices and variants, COD set as the default and shown early in checkout, a clear bKash and Nagad instruction flow with the merchant number appearing at the right moment, shipping zones split for inside-city Agrabad, Halishahar and Khulshi versus out-of-Chattogram, courier-ready order export for Pathao or Steadfast,

a Messenger fallback for the buyer who wants to ask koto taka before paying, and a one-hour training call so you run the whole thing from your phone. No paid apps you cannot fund. No upsell that surfaces only after the advance clears.

If your catalogue runs to 200 SKUs, or you need collections and filters and abandoned-cart recovery, or real inventory and supplier-system sync for stock that turns over weekly, I will tell you on the first call that you want the 90,000 or 1,50,000 BDT tier — or that custom from 3,00,000 BDT is the truthful answer. And if Shopify's dollar fee makes no sense for your volume yet, I will say so plainly and point you to WooCommerce or just a clean catalogue site instead. I would rather lose a Khatunganj wholesaler's project than hand them a store that bleeds dollars every month it cannot fund.

What's included

What 50,000 BDT actually buys on Shopify in Chattogram

Six things in the low-cost tier that an Agrabad or GEC seller almost never gets from an 18,000-taka "Shopify setup" off a Facebook ad. All six are standard at 50,000 BDT, not upsells.

01

Dollar bill explained first

Before any theme work, we settle how Shopify's ~29 USD/month charge gets paid, since most Chattogram sellers have no USD card. I lay out the real card and virtual-card options, or talk you onto WooCommerce if the dollar fee makes no sense at your volume yet.

02

bKash and Nagad flow

Shopify Payments does not work in Bangladesh and Shopify has no native bKash, so I configure a manual-payment flow that shows your bKash or Nagad number at the right moment with an order reference. COD stays the default, the way port-city buyers actually order.

03

Tested on real phones

The store is checked on a real mid-range Android over local mobile data, not just my desktop. Images compressed, fonts loaded lean, tap targets sized for a thumb, so a buyer stuck in GEC Circle or CDA Avenue traffic finishes checkout instead of bouncing.

04

Products loaded for you

Up to about 30 of your real products loaded with photos, BDT prices, variants and stock counts before launch. You open to a working shop, not an empty Shopify trial you have to fill yourself at midnight after a day at the dock.

05

City and courier ready

Shipping zones split for inside-city Agrabad, Halishahar and Khulshi, out-of-Chattogram and rest of Bangladesh at your rates, with orders exporting Pathao or Steadfast-ready so you stop retyping addresses into a courier panel every morning.

06

You hold the keys

You open the Shopify account in your own name and card, I configure everything inside it, then hand over the login and a one-hour training. No retainer, no gatekeeping, no part of the store I quietly keep control of after launch.

In focus

Why "cheap Shopify" in Chattogram is a dollar-and-checkout problem before it is a design problem

When you ask "Shopify store er cost koto?" in a Chattogram seller group, everyone answers in taka and nobody answers in dollars, which is exactly backwards. The build fee is the part you pay once. The part that recurs is Shopify's roughly 29 USD per month on the Basic plan — about 3,500 BDT — charged in dollars to an international card every single month whether you sold anything or not. For an established importer with a corporate card that bills in USD, this is nothing.

For a small seller graduating off a Facebook page in Halishahar or Khulshi, it is the real obstacle, because most simply do not own a card that bills abroad. The 18,000-taka "Shopify expert" sets up a free theme, the trial runs out, the dollar charge fails or drains a borrowed card, and the shiny new store goes dark before its second week.

My cheap tier at 50,000 BDT is built around that reality first, then around the second thing the cheap builds skip: Shopify ships with no bKash, no Nagad, and a checkout that assumes a card most of your customers will never use.

So on the discovery call we settle the dollar question before touching a theme — whether you have a usable USD card, whether a virtual dollar card from a Bangladeshi bank or fintech is the right move, or whether your volume is honestly too low to justify the monthly fee, in which case I will tell you WooCommerce is the cheaper home and build that instead, no lost commission and no hard feelings.

If Shopify is genuinely right for you, I keep the build lean on purpose — no paid apps you do not need, Shopify's own tools for discounts, shipping and inventory, and a bKash and Nagad flow written so a Bangla-first buyer knows exactly which number to send to and what reference to include. The cheap part is the build fee. The smart part is making sure neither the dollar bill nor a broken checkout turns your store into a 50,000-taka mistake.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Straight answers to what Chattogram sellers actually ask me before sending the 50% advance on a low-cost Shopify build. No agency spin.

Cheap Shopify store development in Chattogram — koto taka lagbe?

My low-cost Shopify tier starts at 50,000 BDT, one-time, paid 50% advance and 50% on launch by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. That covers theme setup, up to about 30 products loaded by me, inside-city and out-of-Chattogram shipping zones, COD set as the default, a bKash and Nagad instruction flow, courier-ready order export, and a live launch on your domain with a training call. Separately, you pay Shopify directly — about 29 USD/month for Basic, in dollars on an international card.

That subscription is yours, not part of my fee, and I tell you the real running cost up front. Want a custom theme, collections and filters, abandoned-cart recovery or inventory sync? The next tiers are 90,000 BDT, 1,50,000 BDT, or custom from 3,00,000 BDT.

How do I pay Shopify's monthly dollar fee in Chattogram if I don't have a USD card?

This is the question almost nobody asks before they buy, and it is why so many cheap Chattogram Shopify stores die in week two. Shopify bills around 29 USD/month on an international card; bKash and Nagad cannot pay that directly. On our first call we sort it out honestly: you use an existing USD card, or you get a virtual dollar card from a Bangladeshi bank or fintech, or, if your volume is genuinely too low to justify the dollar fee, I tell you straight that WooCommerce is the smarter home for now and build you that instead. I will not sell you a Shopify store you cannot keep funding.

Why does "cheap" still start at 50,000 BDT when someone on Facebook quotes 15,000 in Chattogram?

Because at 15,000 BDT the only way to survive is to drop a free theme, paste three products and a "send bKash to this number" note, and vanish. I build every project personally and spend roughly two weeks per Shopify launch: loading your real products, writing the Liquid, testing on a real Chattogram phone over mobile data, configuring the bKash, Nagad and COD flow, splitting the courier zones, and running the dollar-bill conversation and a training call. 50,000 BDT is the lowest fee where I can do that work properly. Below it you are buying a problem wearing Shopify's logo, not a store.

Does bKash, Nagad or Shopify Payments work natively in my Chattogram store?

No on all three, and the cheap builders never tell you. Shopify Payments is not available in Bangladesh, so card checkout through Shopify's own gateway is off the table, and bKash and Nagad do not plug into the standard checkout as native gateways either. What I set up instead: COD as the default and shown early, manual bank transfer, and a clear bKash and Nagad flow that shows your merchant number with an order reference at the right moment so transactions match orders in your admin. If you later want automated card payment, SSLCommerz or Aamarpay can be layered on as a separate add-on, not part of the cheap tier.

I import and resell off the docks — is the cheap 50,000 BDT tier enough for fast-moving stock?

Often, yes — to start. At 50,000 BDT I set the admin up so you can change prices, mark items out of stock and add new arrivals yourself in minutes, without calling a developer every time a shipment lands at the port. Up to about 30 products are loaded for launch and you manage the rest from your phone. But be honest about scale: if you are running 200 SKUs with weekly turnover, or you need collections and filters and abandoned-cart recovery, that is the 90,000 or 1,50,000 BDT tier, and real supplier or inventory-system sync starts from 3,00,000 BDT. I will scope it honestly on the first call rather than oversell the cheap tier.

I sell from a Facebook page in Agrabad now — does a cheap Shopify store even make sense for me?

If you are losing orders in DMs, repeating prices fifty times a day and cannot scale past a few dozen orders a month, a real store helps. But be honest about volume first. If Shopify's roughly 29 USD/month fee is heavier than your orders justify, I will tell you so and build a cheaper WooCommerce store, or even just a clean catalogue site, instead. If you are ready to grow and can carry the dollar bill, the 50,000 BDT Shopify build gives you a proper checkout, COD, a bKash and Nagad flow, courier-ready exports and a store you run from your phone — no office visit needed, the whole thing runs on WhatsApp, call and screen-share.
