Who builds your store
Cheap doesn't have to mean disposable
Most quotes you get for a cheap ecommerce website in Bangladesh sit between 10,000 and 25,000 taka, and almost all of them are the same story - a free WooCommerce theme installed in an afternoon, a 'pay by bank transfer' note instead of real checkout, and a freelancer who stops replying the week after launch. You save money for two months and then spend triple to redo it. I would rather quote you what an actual working store costs upfront.
My ecommerce floor is 50,000 BDT because below that I cannot deliver a store that handles real Bangladesh traffic - bKash and Nagad payment links, Pathao and Steadfast courier integration, COD handling, fast mobile product pages, and an admin where your staff can add products in Bangla without breaking the layout. The 50,000 tier covers a focused catalogue (around 20-40 products), the 90,000 tier adds heavier customisation and more product variants, and the 1,50,000 tier covers larger inventories with proper category architecture.
I work alone. There is no project manager forwarding emails, no junior copying code from Stack Overflow into your checkout. I design the screens, I write the code, I configure the gateways, I hand it over. About five years of doing this for BD founders has taught me where buyers actually drop off - mostly at slow image loads, confusing variant selectors, and checkout forms that ask for too much. That is what I optimise.
Payment is simple: 50% advance to start, 50% on launch. You approve the design before any development begins - if the design does not match your brief, you get revisions until it does. That is the design-approval guarantee. No surprise scope creep, no 'maintenance retainer' tucked into page 9 of the contract.
