Online Store Development Price BD

Online store development price in BD, priced by the order flow, not the homepage

A store earns nothing on its homepage. It earns when a buyer taps Buy, picks bKash or cash on delivery, and the order lands somewhere you can act on it. The online store development price in BD is set by how far that order travels and how much of it runs without you. This page maps the price to each step of that flow, so when a quote lands you can see what the number is paying for instead of guessing.

Stores start at 50,000 BDT, the usual tiers run 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT, and fully custom development begins from 3,00,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch via bKash, Nagad or bank, with a design-approval guarantee before the balance is due. Around 5 years building stores, every one developed and shipped by me, never passed to a junior.

Who builds and prices it

An online store development price tied to what the store does

Most shop owners in Bangladesh do not get burned on the homepage. They get burned three weeks after launch, on a busy evening, when twelve orders come in and the only place to see them is a Gmail inbox with no stock count, no order status, and a bKash number where customers paste transaction screenshots one by one. That gap, between a store that looks finished and a store that can actually run a sales day, is where the real online store development price lives. Everything I quote is aimed at the second kind, because the first kind costs you again in lost orders within a month.

When you ask me the online store development price, the number comes from the person who writes the cart logic, wires the checkout, and tests it on a 4,000-taka Android before handover. There is no sales desk pricing your project and then quietly dropping a fresher onto it once you have paid the advance. That single fact is why I can break a quote into named parts and tell you which taka pays for the catalogue, which pays for the bKash and Nagad flow, and which pays for the admin panel you will run from your phone.

Two online stores can look identical in a mockup and be completely different builds underneath, and the price gap people complain about is just the gap between those two builds. One is a free WooCommerce theme with the demo products swapped out, a buy button that emails you, and no stock tracking. The other is a store where the cart, stock, payments, orders and delivery actually talk to each other and survive an Eid rush. The first is cheap to throw together and falls apart the first busy week. The second is real engineering, and that is what moves the development price above a template's.

Everything runs directly with me over WhatsApp and email, no account manager in between. You approve the design before I write a line of store code, the price locks to the agreed scope, and payment is 50% advance and 50% on launch via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. The design-approval guarantee means you sign off on what is delivered before the final taka moves, so there is no chasing a developer who went quiet and no surprise gateway licence appearing on the closing invoice.

What's included

The six things that set your online store development price

The online store development price in BD is the sum of these, not one round figure handed down. Each one is a step in how an order travels from the Buy tap to cash in your account, and how much of that step runs on its own is what moves your quote up or down.

01

Catalogue depth

Forty flat products is a fast build. Eight hundred items with size, colour, and stock counted per variant is real development time. How your catalogue behaves under stock changes, not just how big it is, is the first thing that lifts the price off the 50,000 BDT floor.

02

Checkout that clears

bKash, Nagad and cash on delivery wired to actually confirm an order is included from the base. Adding an automated gateway or card payments through SSLCommerz is scoped work, because clearing money correctly is engineering, not a checkout setting you toggle on.

03

Order dashboard

Orders dropping into your email is the floor. A panel where you see every order, change its status, watch stock fall as things sell, and confirm COD without retyping anything is software you operate yourself, and that depth sits in the higher tiers.

04

Courier handoff

Capturing a cash-on-delivery order is cheap. Building it so the order flows into Pathao, Steadfast or RedX with weight and address ready, and tracking flows back, costs more and is worth it only once your volume earns it. Low volume, you are not charged for it.

05

Buyer trust layer

Bangla product pages, a visible return policy, COD as the safe default, and a checkout that does not feel like a scam page. These convert first-time mobile buyers who do not know your brand yet, and they add scope because for most BD stores they decide whether the cart gets finished.

06

Locked once scoped

Once the catalogue, checkout and order flow are agreed, the development price is fixed. Anything new beyond that, like adding an automated gateway or a loyalty system later, is quoted on its own before any work starts. No mid-build creep onto the final invoice.

In focus

Why the same store gets a 25,000 quote and a 90,000 quote

Picture one boutique selling three-piece sets. Two developers quote it. One says 25,000 taka, the other says 90,000, and from the outside the stores they describe sound the same: nice product pages, a cart, bKash, cash on delivery. The difference is everything you cannot see in a screenshot. In the cheap build, bKash is your personal number printed on the checkout page, so a customer pays, screenshots the transaction, messages you on WhatsApp, and you spend the evening matching payments to orders by hand.

There is no stock count, so during an Eid push you sell the same item to four people and disappoint three. Orders land in a shared inbox with no status, so by 9pm you have lost track of what shipped. The 25,000 taka was real, but it bought a brochure with a buy button, and the lost sales and refund arguments cost you the difference back inside a month.

The 90,000 build is the one where the checkout confirms the order, the stock drops on its own, the dashboard shows you what to pack, and the COD order is ready to hand to Pathao. That is the online store development price gap in BD, in one sentence: you are paying for the parts that handle money and orders correctly, which is the only reason a store exists.

Here is how I keep that price honest instead of just defaulting to the bigger number. I scope you into the lowest tier that fits how you actually sell right now. A new shop launching with forty products, manual bKash and Nagad confirmation, and cash on delivery does not need a card gateway or a courier API on day one, so I leave them out and do not charge for them, and a store like that lands near the 50,000 BDT floor.

A store already doing real volume that needs automated payments, live stock, courier handoff and clean order handling is a heavier build, usually 90,000 to 1,50,000 BDT, and I will tell you so plainly with the reason attached. A ground-up custom platform with unusual logic is where the 3,00,000 BDT range begins. You see the line items, every time: catalogue, checkout, dashboard, courier, trust layer.

Hosting and domain are a small yearly cost paid straight to the provider in your own name, never marked up through me, and your product photos and descriptions are yours to supply. The figure we shake on is the figure you pay at launch, and you can always point at a line and tell me to cut it to hit your budget.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions BD shop owners actually ask before paying to develop an online store.

Online store development er price koto taka in BD?

Development starts at 50,000 BDT, with the usual tiers at 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT depending on your catalogue size, checkout setup, order dashboard and courier work. Fully custom development starts from 3,00,000 BDT. Anything quoted near 20,000 to 30,000 is a free theme with demo products swapped out and a buy button that just emails you, and you will pay again to rebuild it within a year. You see which tier you land in, and why, before you commit.

Why is your development price higher than a 20,000-taka 'online store'?

Because a 20,000-taka store usually cannot do the one job a store exists for: take an order and the money safely. There is no real bKash clearing, no stock count, and an admin you cannot run a sales day from. It looks like a shop on screen and breaks the first busy week. My 50,000 BDT floor is for a developed store that confirms orders, tracks stock, and that you control. Cheaper almost always means paying to rebuild it later.

Does the price include bKash, Nagad and cash on delivery?

Yes, all three are wired in from the base 50,000 BDT tier, because in Bangladesh a store without them barely sells. For smaller stores I set bKash and Nagad as manual confirmation, where the customer pays and you verify, which keeps the price down. An automated gateway or card payments through SSLCommerz is scoped and priced separately because it is a proper integration, and I will tell you which one actually fits your volume.

What ongoing costs come after the development price is paid?

The build is a one-time price. After launch you pay yearly hosting and domain straight to the provider in your own name, plus whatever per-sale fee a payment gateway charges if you use an automated one. None of that is marked up through me, and I will tell you roughly what it runs in BDT upfront. There is no forced maintenance contract. You come back and pay only when you want a new feature built, not for edits you can make in the dashboard yourself.

Can I pay the development price in bKash or Nagad, in installments?

Yes. The build is split 50% advance to start and 50% on launch, payable by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. The advance books your start date, and the balance is only due once the store is live and you have approved it under the design-approval guarantee. That two-part split is the installment plan, with no third-party financing or interest involved.

Can I launch a small store now and add features as I grow?

Yes, and for most sellers that is the smart play. Launch a focused store near the 50,000 BDT floor with manual bKash and Nagad and cash on delivery, start taking real orders, then have me develop more, an automated gateway, Pathao or Steadfast handoff, deeper reporting, once the business earns it. I build the store so it can grow, so you are not paying upfront for capacity your shop does not need yet.
