The real BD price ranges in 2026 (without the sales talk)
Here is the unvarnished map I share with people. Below 50,000 BDT in Bangladesh in 2026 you are almost always getting a recycled template, free hosting, a hand-off with no support, and a site that will look dated in twelve months. That is fine if you genuinely just need a placeholder URL on a business card, but it is not a website that will earn you customers. The bracket I work in starts at 50,000 BDT for a focused informational site, moves to 90,000 BDT when you want more pages, a proper CMS and stronger design, and sits at 1,50,000 BDT for a serious business website with deeper structure, SEO foundations and conversion-focused pages. Custom work, including ecommerce stores with payments, courier integration and stock management, or web apps with dashboards and user accounts, starts from 3,00,000 BDT and goes up based on scope.
On top of the build, plan for ongoing costs that any honest developer will tell you upfront: a .com.bd or .com domain (a few thousand taka per year), reliable hosting (figure 5,000 to 25,000 BDT per year depending on traffic), and either a maintenance retainer or a pay-as-you-need arrangement for updates. My terms are 50% advance and 50% on launch, with a design-approval guarantee, which means you sign off the look before I write production code, so you never pay for a final site you do not like. If a quote you receive does not break the bill into design, development, content, hosting and aftercare, ask why. The vagueness is usually where the surprise charges live.
