WooCommerce Website Development in Dhaka

WooCommerce website development in Dhaka, built by one senior developer who knows what a Dhaka order journey actually looks like.

I build WooCommerce stores for Dhaka brands the way they will be used: a customer in Mirpur scrolling on a 4G phone, paying with bKash, expecting SteadFast or Pathao Courier to show up tomorrow, and texting WhatsApp if anything feels off. No agency markup, no junior handoff, no Envato theme dumped on your domain.

Around 5 years building WooCommerce in BD. Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design approval guaranteed before a single product page goes live.

About this WooCommerce work

Why a senior solo developer beats a 12-person agency for your WooCommerce store

Most Dhaka business owners I meet have already paid someone 25,000 BDT for a WooCommerce store and got back a Storefront child theme, a checkout that breaks on bKash, no proper courier integration, and a phone that stopped getting answered after launch. That is the actual problem in this market, not whether WordPress is the right CMS.

I am RH Fardin, a website designer and developer based in Bangladesh with around five years of full-time work on WooCommerce builds. I do every part of your store myself: product schema, variation logic, bKash and Nagad payment hooks, COD with phone verification, SteadFast and Pathao Courier API wiring, Facebook Pixel events that match your ad manager, and a Bangla-friendly checkout that does not break on a low-end Android.

Because there is no project manager, no junior, and no offshore subcontractor, you talk to the person actually pushing code. When your wife says the homepage banner should be a little lower or your accountant says the invoice needs a TIN field, that change happens that afternoon, not in a sprint two weeks from now.

My WooCommerce work starts at 50,000 BDT, moves through 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT tiers depending on catalogue size and integrations, and goes to 3,00,000 BDT and up for custom builds with B2B pricing, multi-vendor, or ERP sync. Payment is split 50% advance, 50% on launch, and I do not start production until you have approved the design.

What's included

What you actually get with a WooCommerce build from me

Six things that decide whether a Dhaka WooCommerce store makes money or sits idle. Every one of these is in the base scope, not a paid add-on.

01

bKash and Nagad properly wired

Native bKash Tokenized Checkout and Nagad payment gateway integrated with order status sync, not a screenshot upload form. Customer pays, order moves to processing automatically.

02

COD with phone verification

Cash on delivery with OTP confirmation to cut the fake order rate that wrecks COD margins in Dhaka. Optional Dhaka-only vs outside-Dhaka shipping rules baked in.

03

Courier API integrated

SteadFast, Pathao Courier, RedX or Paperfly connected so you push an order to courier with one click, get tracking back in the order, and stop maintaining a parallel Excel sheet.

04

Mobile checkout that survives 4G

Built lean on a custom child theme, not a 40-plugin Frankenstein. Loads on a Mirpur 4G connection in under three seconds, checkout fits one thumb-scroll on a 5.5 inch screen.

05

Bangla and English ready

Hreflang done right, Noto Sans Bengali for clean Bangla rendering, product fields and emails translatable so your customer service team is not copy-pasting Google Translate.

06

Ad-ready analytics from day one

Facebook Pixel with InitiateCheckout, AddPaymentInfo and Purchase events firing correctly, GA4 ecommerce, and Conversions API so your Meta ads can actually optimise.

In focus

Why most Dhaka WooCommerce stores leak money, and how I build mine differently

The most common WooCommerce mistake I see in Dhaka is a store that was built like a brochure. It looks fine, but the checkout asks for billing address, shipping address, district, division, and a postcode the customer has never used. On mobile, that form is eight scrolls long. The customer hits 'order' on Facebook, lands on your site, and abandons before they can find the bKash button. You paid for the ad, the visit, the data, and the warehouse staff time, and you got nothing.

When I build WooCommerce in Dhaka, the checkout is one screen with name, phone, area, full address, and payment method. bKash and Nagad are presented as logo buttons, not radio inputs hidden under 'other'. Phone is the primary identifier, not email, because that is how Bangladesh actually shops. The thank-you page shows a screenshot-able order ID the customer can send to your WhatsApp Business number, and the same number is wired into Facebook Click-to-WhatsApp ads so paid traffic can talk to you in one tap.

None of that is a premium feature. It is what an online store in Dhaka has to do to convert in 2026, and it is in every build I ship from 50,000 BDT upward.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Dhaka business owners ask me before signing off a WooCommerce build. Direct answers, no sales talk.

WooCommerce website development er cost koto taka in Dhaka?

My WooCommerce builds start at 50,000 BDT for a focused store with up to around 50 products, bKash or Nagad plus COD, and one courier API. 90,000 BDT covers a bigger catalogue with both bKash and Nagad, full courier integration, and category filtering. 1,50,000 BDT is the typical sweet spot for serious DTC brands wanting variations, abandoned cart, advanced ads tracking, and Bangla and English. Anything custom, multi-vendor, B2B pricing, or ERP integration starts from 3,00,000 BDT.

Will my WooCommerce store integrate with bKash and Nagad properly?

Yes. I use the official bKash Tokenized Checkout merchant integration and the official Nagad payment gateway, both wired to update WooCommerce order status automatically. No 'send screenshot to WhatsApp' workaround, no third-party plugin that breaks every two months.

Can you connect SteadFast, Pathao Courier or RedX?

Yes. I integrate the courier you actually use. One-click push from the WooCommerce order screen to the courier, tracking number pulled back, status sync, and a delivery charge calculation that knows the difference between inside-Dhaka, Dhaka sub-area and outside-Dhaka.

Why WooCommerce instead of Shopify for a Dhaka business?

Shopify is excellent but charges monthly in USD and has no native bKash or Nagad gateway, which means you patch it together or lose mobile-money buyers. WooCommerce is one-time build cost, runs on hosting you can pay for in BDT, and integrates cleanly with Bangladesh-specific payment and courier APIs. For 95% of Dhaka stores under 5,000 SKUs, WooCommerce is the better economics.

Do you migrate from a broken WooCommerce store someone else built?

Often. I audit what is salvageable, what is a plugin bloat problem, and what needs to be rebuilt on a clean child theme. I move products, customers and orders without losing data, point the domain over with zero downtime, and quote separately for the audit and the rebuild so you know exactly what you are paying for.

How long does a WooCommerce build take in Dhaka and what is the payment schedule?

A 50,000 BDT store ships in around 2 weeks once you provide products and brand assets. 90,000 to 1,50,000 BDT builds run 3 to 5 weeks. Payment is 50% advance to start, 50% on launch day. I do not move into development until you have signed off the design in writing, and that approval is guaranteed before any production work begins.
