Pricing you can read like an invoice
The real cost of a website in Chittagong isn't the first number you're quoted
Here is how the website conversation usually goes in Chattogram. A cousin or a nephew "who knows computers" offers to build it for 8,000 taka. A Facebook page quotes 15,000 with a free domain and unlimited revisions. A studio off CDA Avenue says "send your requirement, sir," then comes back at three times what you expected. None of those are a price — they are three different products wearing the same word. The 8,000-taka build is a marketplace theme with your logo dropped in.
The 15,000 free-domain deal hands you a subdomain you will never own. And the requirement-first quote is a sales tactic to read your budget before naming a figure. You end up comparing things that are not comparable, which is exactly why the price feels random.
I am RH Fardin, a solo senior website designer working out of Bangladesh, and I price the way you would actually want a supplier to: in the open, itemised, before you commit a single taka. The website design cost in Chittagong I work to starts at 50,000 BDT. The three standard tiers are 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT, and a fully custom build starts from 3,00,000 BDT. You can look at that and decide in ten seconds whether I fit your budget — no "depends bhai," no sizing you up first, no different number for a port-city client than I would give anyone else.
Roughly five years of shipping sites for Bangladeshi businesses means I scope a project quickly and quote a number I can actually hit. And because it is one senior operator doing every part of the work, that number is not carrying a payroll. I personally run the discovery call, do the design, build the front end, handle the on-page SEO, and push it live. There is no account manager forwarding your emails, no junior assigned the morning after your advance clears, and no Agrabad office rent baked quietly into your invoice. What you pay goes into the site itself, not into the overhead of the people who would otherwise be in between us.
Payment is 50 percent advance to start and 50 percent on launch — and the second half is genuinely due when the site goes live, not chased out of you a week early. Before any of that, you sign off on the design: the design-approval guarantee means the visual direction is locked and approved before I write a line of code, so the cost never balloons into a redesign you never asked for. Pay the advance by bKash or Nagad, or a bank transfer for the larger tiers. The figure you approve is the figure you pay — that is the whole point of itemising it up front.
