One operator, GEC brief to launch
GEC has the city's heaviest footfall and the city's flimsiest websites
Walk around GEC Circle and the area is dense with business: showrooms, restaurants, clinics, coaching centres, branch offices, the firms feeding off the Khulshi and Nasirabad belt, and the trade houses with one foot pointed at the port. Almost all of them have a footpath sign, a glowing shopfront and a Facebook page. What most of them don't have is a website that holds up when someone actually opens it.
The pattern repeats: a 'developer' from a Facebook page sold them a free template two years ago, it's been broken on mobile ever since, the phone number on it is the old one, and nobody owns it because the person who built it has gone quiet. In a location with this much foot traffic, that's a real cost, because the people walking past you all day are also searching you at night.
I'm RH Fardin and I work alone, deliberately. When you hire me for website design and development in GEC Chittagong, there's no salesman who wins the job and a junior you never meet who delivers it.
I run the discovery call, draw the structure, design every screen in Figma, write the code that turns it live, tune the speed, wire up the contact and bKash or Nagad flow, set up your domain and hosting, and I'm the WhatsApp line you message when you need a price or a phone number changed before lunch.
Roughly five years doing this for Bangladeshi firms means I know what a GEC restaurant needs that a Nasirabad trading office doesn't, and I scope each build for that, not for a template's idea of 'a website.'
The pricing is fixed and it's the same whether your address says GEC, Khulshi or down toward Agrabad. 50,000 BDT is the genuine floor: a focused, fast 5-7 page site, proper mobile design, a working contact form, basic on-page SEO and analytics. 90,000 BDT adds pages, a blog or service sections, a gallery and tighter design polish. 1,50,000 BDT is the full build, content-deep and bilingual, with deeper navigation and buyer-facing pages.
Past 3,00,000 BDT it becomes fully custom, designed and developed from a blank canvas, which is a different conversation. There's no 8,000-taka 'unlimited everything' tier here, because that product doesn't exist; it's a template that breaks in three months wearing a quote.
Payment is plain: 50% to start, 50% on launch, by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, whichever is cleanest for your accounts. Before I write a single line of code, you approve the full design, so if the look is wrong we fix it on the design board, not after your GEC customers have already seen it live. On launch you get the domain in your own name, hosting on an account you control, and the files and code handed over in one document. No renewal hostage fee, no chasing a vendor who's stopped replying. One person owns the whole job, so there's one person accountable when it matters.
