Both. For most Dhaka SMEs, WordPress is the right answer. It's cheap to host, and your in-house person can edit it. Some projects need real custom logic, like a booking engine, a member area or an internal dashboard. For those, I build in Next.js or a similar modern stack. I will always recommend the cheaper option when it is truly the right one.
Yes, and that is the test that matters in Dhaka. Every project is designed mobile-first. Images are optimised, fonts load efficiently, and I test the build on a real mid-range Android, not just a resized Chrome window. Your visitor might be on a 15,000 BDT phone in a Banani traffic jam. The page still has to load, and the bKash button still has to work.
I prefer bank transfer for the milestone invoices, because it leaves a clean paper trail for both of us. bKash, Nagad and Rocket work for smaller amounts and for any post-launch care payments. Non-resident Bangladeshi clients can pay by international card through a payment link. Every payment gets a proper receipt, with a VAT line where it applies.
Then you do not pay the second invoice. The design-approval guarantee ties the 50% launch payment to your written sign-off on the design. Revisions inside the agreed scope are included. If you want to change direction completely after approval, we re-scope in writing and re-price honestly. I have never had to refund an advance, but the policy is in writing so neither of us has to gamble.
