Ask five Dhaka studios for a web design quote and you will get five wildly different numbers, often between 8,000 BDT and 4,00,000 BDT for what sounds like the same brief. That gap is not random. At the low end you are usually paying for a free template, a half-finished plugin install, and someone who will stop replying on WhatsApp the moment you ask for a revision. At the high end you are often subsidising a Gulshan office, a sales team, and three layers of project managers who never touch your file.

The biggest hidden driver is page count, but not in the way most clients expect. Five pages with custom sections, fresh copy, and tested mobile layouts will cost more than fifteen pages copy-pasted from a template, and that is the right way around. When I quote your project I look at how many genuinely distinct page types you need, how much of the copy you can give me versus how much I need to shape myself, and whether your services need their own landing pages because they target different Dhaka neighbourhoods or different buyer types. A clinic in Dhanmondi serving patients in Mirpur, Mohammadpur, and Uttara may need three lightly-tuned location pages, and that work has a real price.
The second driver is what happens on mobile. Most Dhaka traffic in 2026 comes from mid-range Android phones on patchy 4G, often with the user one-handed in a CNG, so the site has to load and behave well in that exact context, not on your designer's MacBook. Because at 8,000 BDT nobody is writing the copy, structuring the pages, tuning mobile speed, or testing on a real 4G connection in Dhaka. You are paying for a plugin install on top of a free template. That site exists, but it does not earn. My floor reflects the actual hours required to ship something that works for Dhaka buyers.
No, and that is intentional. I quote design and development as one number, and list hosting, .com or .com.bd domain, SSL, and any paid plugins as separate line items in BDT. You decide whether I purchase them on your behalf or you handle them directly. There are no silent renewals.
Standard terms are 50 percent advance to start, 50 percent on launch. Bank transfer is the cleanest for amounts over 50,000 BDT, but bKash and Nagad are accepted for the advance or for smaller scopes. Receipts are issued in BDT for every payment.
That is exactly why design approval comes before development. You see the full layout in Figma, request revisions until it is right, and only then do I write code. If the live site does not match the approved design, I fix it at no cost. The risk of paying for something you dislike is removed before the build even starts.
The quoted price does not change unless you ask for something outside the original scope. If that happens, I stop, put the change in writing with the BDT cost and timeline impact, and only proceed once you approve. No silent invoices, no end-of-project surprises. Most projects finish at the exact number on the original quote.
