Web Design in Bangladesh

Web design in Bangladesh, built by one senior operator who actually sketches, designs and ships your site.

Most BD businesses lose buyers in the first three seconds because the homepage was designed on a 27-inch Mac and never re-tested on a 6.5-inch Android. I design your site the other way around — phone first, then tablet, then desktop — so the koto taka question gets answered before the user has to scroll.

From 50,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee — you sign off on the look before any code is written.

About RH Fardin

Bangladeshi web design without the agency relay race

Open ten random business websites in Bangladesh on your phone right now. Most of them will have a hero image that loads in three pieces over a Robi connection, a phone number you can't tap, a contact form that nobody answers, and a Bangla font that renders as boxes on Samsung's stock browser. That's the bar I'm trying to clear when I take on a web design project here — not flashy parallax sliders, just a site that loads, reads and converts on the devices Bangladeshi buyers actually use.

I'm RH Fardin and I've been designing and developing websites for Bangladeshi clients for about five years now, working solo from start to finish. There's no project manager forwarding your message to a junior designer who passes it to a backend developer in another time zone. You message me, I reply. I open Figma, sketch the layout, send you screens, you mark them up in WhatsApp, I revise, you approve, then I code. One brain holds the whole project, which is why nothing falls through the cracks.

My design work is deliberately plain-spoken. Big readable headlines. A single clear call-to-action above the fold. Phone number and WhatsApp button in the header so a buyer on Banani Road can tap once instead of hunting through a hamburger menu. Trust signals — your registered business name, a real Dhaka address, payment logos — where buyers expect to see them. Nothing decorative that doesn't pull weight. The point is that someone in Sylhet looking for your service on 3G at 11 PM can find what they need and contact you without thinking.

Pricing is honest and posted: tiers at 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT for the standard work, and custom builds from 3,00,000 BDT when the scope genuinely needs it. 50% advance to start, 50% on the day we go live. You get a design-approval guarantee — I don't write a single line of HTML until you've signed off on the visuals in writing, so there are no surprises when the site goes live.

What's included

What you actually get from a proper web design in Bangladesh

Six things every BD business website should do — and that most of them quietly fail at. Each one is baked into every project I ship.

01

Phone-first layout

Designed and tested on real Android phones in Chrome and Samsung Internet first — not just resized in a desktop browser. Buttons sized for thumbs, fonts readable without zoom, hero loads under three seconds on a 3G connection.

02

Bangla + English ready

Proper Bangla web fonts (SolaimanLipi, Hind Siliguri or your brand pick) with English fallback so headlines render correctly on every device. No more boxes, no more broken kerning, no more switching to image-only text.

03

Tap-to-call and WhatsApp

Real click-to-call links and a sticky WhatsApp chat button in the layout from day one. About 70-80% of your visitors are on mobile — they want to message you in five seconds, not fill a contact form.

04

Price visibility done right

If you sell services, your packages and starting price are designed into the page, not buried. The 'koto taka' question is the number one bounce reason in BD — answering it on the page keeps serious leads and filters out tyre-kickers.

05

Trust block buyers expect

Registered business name, full address, BIN/TIN if relevant, payment-method logos (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cards), and a real photo of you or your team. Stock photos of foreigners shaking hands kill credibility here.

06

You own everything

Domain registered in your name on your cPanel, hosting in your account, all source files handed over on launch. No vendor lock-in, no monthly hostage situation, no 'we keep the code' contracts.

In focus

Why most web design in Bangladesh fails the buyer test

Here is what I see again and again when clients come to me to redesign an existing site. The desktop version looks fine in a Chrome window at 1440 pixels, but the agency that built it clearly never opened it on a real phone. The header logo eats half the screen, the menu collapses into a tiny hamburger icon nobody taps, the hero copy is two paragraphs of 'we are a leading provider of innovative solutions', and the actual product or service is three scrolls down.

By then your buyer has already gone back to Facebook. That is not a design problem caused by lack of talent — it is a process problem caused by designing on the wrong device and skipping the test that matters.

The fix is unglamorous and it is what I do on every project. I open the homepage on a mid-range Samsung in Chrome, on an iPhone 11 in Safari, and on a budget Xiaomi in Samsung Internet. I check that the headline answers 'what do you do and who is it for' in under two seconds. I check that the price or starting point is visible without scrolling more than once. I check that a buyer can call you, WhatsApp you, or fill a short form within one thumb-tap.

Then I tighten everything until each of those checks passes. That is the difference between a website that decorates your brand and a website that actually brings business in from across Bangladesh.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions I get every week from business owners across Bangladesh — answered honestly, no upsell.

Web design Bangladesh koto taka? What does a proper website actually cost here?

Honest answer: the floor for a genuinely good site I'd put my name on is 50,000 BDT. My three packaged tiers are 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT depending on page count, custom design depth and features like blog, multi-language, or basic ecommerce. Custom builds with bespoke design and integrations start at 3,00,000 BDT. Anything cheaper is either a free template with your logo dropped on top or a junior outsourcing the work — neither will perform.

I have seen ads offering web design in Bangladesh for 5,000-15,000 BDT. Why is your starting price 50,000?

Those packages exist and they are exactly what you'd expect. You get a free WordPress or Wix template with your business name typed in, stock images, no custom design thinking, no mobile testing, no SEO setup, no proper Bangla font work, no real handover. Six months in you'll be paying someone else 80,000 BDT to redo it properly. My 50,000 BDT floor is what one senior designer-developer actually costs for work that holds up.

Will my site work properly in Bangla, and on older Samsung and Xiaomi phones?

Yes — that is the default, not an upsell. I use real Bangla web fonts loaded correctly so headlines render on every Android browser, including the stock Samsung Internet that a huge chunk of the country uses. I test every project on a mid-range Android phone before launch, not just in desktop Chrome.

Do I have to pay everything upfront, or how does payment work?

50% advance to start the project (covers the design phase and locks my calendar) and 50% on the day we push the site live. You can pay via bKash, Nagad, bank transfer or wire — whichever is easiest for you. No hidden fees, no surprise charges, no 'maintenance contract' I tie you into.

How long does it take to design and launch a website in Bangladesh end-to-end?

For the 50,000 BDT tier (5-7 pages, semi-custom): typically 2-3 weeks. For the 90,000 BDT tier: 3-4 weeks. For 1,50,000 BDT with more custom design: 4-6 weeks. Custom 3,00,000+ projects: 6-10 weeks. The speed depends on how fast you give feedback and provide content — I keep the design side moving the same day.

What happens after launch — am I locked into you for hosting and updates?

No, and I'd say no even if you asked. Your domain is registered in your name on your account. Your hosting is on a provider you own, not resold through me. You get all source files. If you want me on retainer for updates I'm happy to do it monthly, but you can also hand it to your in-house person or any other developer in Bangladesh. The site is yours.
