Shopify Store Development Price in Uttara

The honest Shopify store development price in Uttara — laid out in taka, tier by tier, so you can tell a fair quote from a padded one.

If you have three Shopify quotes from three Uttara "experts" and they range from 15,000 to 1,80,000 taka, you are not confused — the market is. This page shows my Shopify store development price in Uttara in flat BDT, exactly what sits in each tier, and the handful of things that actually push the number up. No discovery-call ambush before you see a figure.

Fixed Shopify tiers from 50,000 BDT, 50% advance / 50% on launch, design-approval guarantee — built personally by one senior developer with ~5 years in Bangladesh.

Pricing without the runaround

Why Shopify quotes in Uttara swing from 15k to 1.8 lakh for "the same store"

Walk into any Uttara seller group and ask "Shopify store banate koto taka?" and you will get answers a full order of magnitude apart. The reason is not that some people are cheating and others are honest — though some are. The real reason is that "a Shopify store" can mean five completely different jobs. One person means a free Dawn theme with your logo dropped on it and three products. Another means a custom-coded theme with courier APIs, abandoned-cart flows, and a B2B price list. Same two words, same screenshot of a clean dashboard, ten times the work. Until somebody itemises the scope, the price is meaningless — and most Uttara quotes never itemise.

So before I quote a number, I tell you what changes it. The platform you land on (Shopify charges its own USD subscription, separate from anything I touch), the number of products, how much of the theme is custom Liquid versus configured defaults, which courier and payment integrations you need, and whether you want anything that automates after launch — abandoned carts, loyalty, wholesale tiers. Those five levers are the entire pricing story. Everything else is noise designed to make a quote feel bigger than the work behind it.

I run this as a one-person studio. When you ask me the Shopify store development price in Uttara, the figure you get already has my full margin in it because there is no agency stack to feed — no account manager, no junior who builds while a senior bills, no overhead floor I have to clear before I make rent. That is the single biggest reason my floor sits at 50,000 BDT while shops down the road quote 1,20,000 for the same starter scope. You are paying for the build and the person doing it, not for an office in a tower somewhere.

Every project, whatever the tier, runs on the same terms: 50% advance to start, 50% on launch, and a design-approval guarantee. You sign off on the storefront design before I wire up products, checkout, or shipping. If the look is wrong, we revise until it is right — that is not an extra line item, it is how the job works. The price you agree to is the price on the invoice, and I would rather lose the project on the first call than surprise you with a second number after the advance has cleared.

What's included

What the Shopify price buys at every tier in Uttara

Six things baked into every Shopify quote I give an Uttara seller — present at the 50,000 BDT floor, not held back for the expensive plans.

01

Flat taka pricing

You get the build price in BDT — 50,000, 90,000 or 1,50,000 — locked on the contract before work starts. The number does not float with the dollar rate, and it is not an "estimate" that grows by launch day.

02

Subscription math upfront

Before you pay a taka, I show you the real running cost: Shopify Basic at roughly 29 USD a month, around 3,500 BDT, billed by Shopify directly to your card. My fee is one-time and separate, so you know your year-one total, not just my invoice.

03

Scope on paper

Each tier lists exactly what it ships — product count, theme work, integrations — in writing. So when you compare my Shopify store development price in Uttara against another quote, you are comparing scope to scope, not a number to a vibe.

04

Courier-hub ready

Uttara sits next to Abdullahpur and the major courier depots, so same-day pickup is realistic. Every tier sets up shipping zones for inside Uttara, the rest of Dhaka, and outside Dhaka, with Pathao or Steadfast wired into your confirmation flow.

05

bKash/Nagad checkout

Shopify Payments does not run in Bangladesh, so at every tier I configure cash-on-delivery plus a clear bKash/Nagad flow with order-reference matching — so an Uttara buyer completes checkout instead of bouncing to your inbox to ask how to pay.

06

You own it outright

You sign up for Shopify under your own email and card; I configure inside it and hand over every login. No retainer, no "call us for every edit," no part of your store I keep the keys to. The price is for a store you own, full stop.

In focus

Reading a Shopify quote in Uttara: the three numbers hiding inside one price

When an Uttara seller forwards me a competing quote and asks "eta ki fair?", the first thing I do is split it into three numbers that the quote almost always smashes into one. Number one is the development fee — the one-time taka you pay a human to design and build the store. Number two is the Shopify subscription — a recurring USD charge, around 3,500 BDT a month, that goes to Shopify, not to your developer, and that exists whether you sell anything or not.

Number three is the app stack — third-party tools billed monthly, often in dollars, that quietly stack up if your builder installs ten of them to look thorough. A quote that hides all three inside a single figure is not a price; it is a guess you will be paying for long after launch.

My Shopify store development price in Uttara is built so you can see all three before you commit. The development fee is the tier you pick — 50,000 BDT for a clean starter store, 90,000 for a Growth build with courier integration and abandoned-cart recovery, 1,50,000 for a Pro store with custom Liquid sections, wholesale pricing, and deeper automation. The subscription I quote you in plain BDT-equivalent so there is no surprise on the first dollar bill.

The app stack I keep deliberately lean — most Uttara stores need three or four apps at most, and I tell you the monthly cost of each in writing before installing a single one. Genuinely custom Shopify work — headless storefronts, custom app development, ERP or POS integration for a seller running both a Sector 7 shop and an online store — starts from 3,00,000 BDT and gets scoped properly after a call, never guessed at over chat.

The point of laying it out this way is simple: I want you to be able to defend the number to your business partner, not just trust me on it.

The pricing questions Uttara sellers actually ask before they sign a Shopify quote.

Shopify store development price Uttara — koto taka theke shuru?

My Shopify store development price in Uttara starts at 50,000 BDT for the starter tier — a fully configured Shopify store with up to 30 products loaded, bKash/Nagad and cash-on-delivery checkout, shipping zones, one courier (Pathao or Steadfast) wired in, and a live launch on your own domain. The Growth tier is 90,000 BDT and the Pro tier is 1,50,000 BDT. Genuinely custom builds start from 3,00,000 BDT. All tiers are 50% advance, 50% on launch. Separately, you pay Shopify directly for the subscription, roughly 3,500 BDT a month — that is theirs, not my fee.

Why is your Shopify price higher than the 15,000 taka quotes in Uttara groups?

Because 15,000 taka does not buy a store — it buys a free theme with a logo on it, a few products, and trial apps that die in two weeks, usually from someone who stops replying after handover. I spend roughly two weeks building each store personally: theme customisation, product loading, payment and courier setup, mobile testing on a real BD phone, and a training call. 50,000 BDT is the lowest figure where that work is real and the store actually sells. Below that you are paying for a store that costs you USD every month and earns nothing.

Is the Shopify monthly subscription included in your price, or is that extra?

It is separate, and any quote that folds it in is hiding markup. Shopify Basic is about 29 USD a month — roughly 3,500 BDT — billed by Shopify straight to your card, in your name. My price is the one-time development fee in BDT to design, build, configure and launch the store. During onboarding I help you open the Shopify account under your own email and card so you own everything and the subscription is never routed through me.

I have three quotes that are wildly different — how do I tell which Shopify price is fair?

Split each quote into three numbers: the one-time development fee, the monthly Shopify subscription, and the monthly app costs. Most Uttara quotes mash these into one figure, which is why they look so different. A fair quote tells you all three in writing, lists exactly what the development fee covers (product count, theme work, integrations), and does not change after the advance. If a quote will not itemise scope, the low number is usually low because the work is missing, not because they are generous.

What pushes my Shopify quote above the 50,000 BDT starter price?

Five levers, and I price each in BDT before we start, never after. Product count over 30 SKUs needs bulk import work. Custom Liquid sections beyond the theme defaults add design and build time. Integrations — courier APIs, SSLCommerz for card payments, ERP or POS sync — add scope. Post-launch automation like abandoned-cart recovery, loyalty, or wholesale price tiers sits on the higher tiers. And a fully bespoke theme moves you toward custom from 3,00,000 BDT. The starter price covers the starter scope; anything beyond it I quote upfront in writing.

Can I pay in installments, or do you need the full Shopify build cost upfront?

Never full upfront. Standard terms across every tier are 50% advance to begin and 50% on launch. The advance covers design and the build phase — theme customisation, product import, payment and courier configuration. The balance is due only when the store is live on your domain, tested on mobile, and you have approved the design and checkout flow. The design-approval guarantee means you do not pay the second half for a storefront you never signed off on.
