About RH Fardin
Good portfolio design is mostly decisions about what to leave out
Here is the thing nobody tells you in a Banani co-working space: the reason your Notion page, your Behance, and your friend-built portfolio all feel forgettable is not your work — it is the design holding it. A portfolio with 32 projects in a grid says "I will take anything." A portfolio with six pieces, paced with real whitespace and a single confident line under each, says "I am the person you call for this." The design is not decoration on top of the work. In a portfolio, the design IS the argument — and most portfolio web design in Dhaka skips the argument entirely.
I am RH Fardin, a solo website designer and developer based in Bangladesh. For roughly five years I have designed portfolio websites for Dhaka creatives — graphic designers in Dhanmondi, wedding and product photographers in Bashundhara, architects in Gulshan, illustrators and motion designers in Mirpur, plus developers and UX designers chasing remote roles abroad. I personally do the discovery, the layout, the type, the visual direction, the build, the speed pass, and the launch. There is no junior "designing" your homepage off a template while I attend meetings.
Portfolio design in Dhaka has its own rules that a corporate-website team gets wrong every time. The hierarchy has to put the work above the words. The pacing has to slow the eye down on your strongest piece and speed it past the filler. The type has to be quiet enough that it never competes with the image. The whole thing has to feel intentional on a 6.3-inch screen at 11 PM, because that is where an art director or a recruiter actually opens your link. I design for that reality first, then make sure it scales up to desktop — not the other way around.
Pricing is fixed and honest. 50,000 BDT for a focused portfolio with a strong grid and contact flow, 90,000 BDT when you need individual case-study pages and a simple CMS, 1,50,000 BDT for motion, bilingual, and a custom editing system. Fully custom builds start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, and 50% on launch — and the design-approval guarantee means I keep refining the visual direction until you actually sign off, before the second invoice is due.
