Online Store Development Service in Dhaka

An online store built for how Dhaka actually buys — bKash, Nagad, cash on delivery, mobile-first, and a checkout that works on a 4G connection in Mirpur traffic.

I am RH Fardin, a solo website designer and developer based in Bangladesh. I personally handle every online store development project end to end — discovery, UX, product structure, payment setup, courier flow, training and launch. No project managers, no juniors, no handoffs. Starts from 50,000 BDT.

Around 5 years building stores for Dhaka sellers. Fixed-price service. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design approval guarantee before a single line of code.

About the service

An online store service shaped around Dhaka buyers, not a Western template

Most Dhaka sellers I talk to already tried a Facebook page, a free Shopify trial, or a cheap freelancer who delivered a half-finished WooCommerce theme. The pattern is the same: the cart works for cards no Dhaka customer uses, bKash is missing or pasted into the thank-you page as a number, and there is no proper way to capture a cash-on-delivery order with the buyer's area inside Dhaka. So buyers DM on Facebook anyway, and the store is just an expensive brochure.

My online store development service in Dhaka is built around the actual checkout the city uses. bKash and Nagad as first-class payment options, cash on delivery with area-based fee logic for Dhaka Metro versus outside, a courier-ready order export for Pathao, Steadfast or RedX, and an admin panel a non-technical owner in Mohammadpur or Bashundhara can actually use from a phone.

I work as one senior operator. You talk to the person building your store, not an account manager. I scope the project with you in plain Bangla or English, agree the look and structure before I write code, build it, train you on it, and stay reachable after launch. No subcontracting to a junior in another country, no "the developer will get back to you" delays.

Around five years of doing this in Bangladesh means I have already debugged the boring problems — bKash payment gateway approval timelines, courier API quirks, Bangla font rendering on cheap Android phones, and the moment a marketing team adds 30 product variants and everything slows down. You get a store designed with those problems already solved, not discovered after launch.

What's included

What is included in the online store development service

Six things every store I build for Dhaka gets out of the box. Not upsells — the standard.

01

bKash and Nagad ready

Proper payment gateway integration so customers pay from the bKash or Nagad app and the order is marked paid automatically. No screenshot-uploading, no manual verification.

02

COD with area logic

Cash on delivery with separate delivery charges for inside-Dhaka and outside-Dhaka, plus the option to block COD for high-fraud areas if you need to. Standard, not a custom job.

03

Courier-ready orders

One-click export of pending orders in the format Pathao Courier, Steadfast or RedX expects, so your packing team isn't retyping addresses into three different portals every morning.

04

Mobile-first checkout

Tested on the cheap Android phones most Dhaka buyers actually use, on 3G and 4G, with thumb-friendly buttons and Bangla input that doesn't break the form.

05

Owner-friendly admin

An admin panel where you can add products, change prices, mark orders shipped and pull a daily sales report — from your phone, in 2 minutes, without calling me.

06

Facebook and Messenger glue

Pixel, conversion API, product catalog sync for Facebook Shops, and a Messenger plugin set up the right way — because almost every Dhaka store still gets half its traffic from Facebook.

In focus

What this service actually covers, week by week

The service is the full path from "I want to sell online in Dhaka" to a live, trained, handed-over store — usually 3 to 6 weeks depending on tier. Week one is discovery and structure: I sit with you (Zoom or in person if you are central Dhaka), map out your product catalog, returns policy, delivery zones and payment mix. Week two is design — full home, category, product, cart and checkout mockups in Figma, approved by you in writing before any code is written. That is the design approval guarantee: if the mockups are not right, we keep iterating, no extra fee.

Weeks three to four are build, payment setup (bKash and Nagad merchant accounts coordinated with your team), courier integration, content loading and Bangla copy where you need it. The final week is testing on real Dhaka mobile networks, a one-on-one training session so you and one team member can run the store yourselves, and launch. After go-live you get a 30-day fix window for any bug I missed, and ongoing support is available on a small monthly retainer if you want it — most clients run their own store after the training and only come back when they want a new feature.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Dhaka store owners ask me before signing — answered straight.

Online store development service-er koto taka khoroch hobe Dhaka-te?

Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT for a focused single-category store with bKash, Nagad and COD ready out of the box. The standard service tier most Dhaka brands choose is 90,000 BDT — that includes multi-category catalog, courier API integration, Facebook catalog sync and full training. A larger brand build with custom design, custom features and migration from an old store is 1,50,000 BDT, and fully custom platforms start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Do you handle the bKash and Nagad payment gateway approval, or do I have to do it?

You apply — the merchant account has to be in your business name with your trade license — but I prepare every document and form you need, brief your team on what bKash and Nagad will ask for, and integrate the gateway the moment your credentials come through. Most Dhaka clients get bKash live within 2 to 3 weeks of applying if their paperwork is clean.

Will my store work on cheap Android phones with slow internet in Dhaka?

Yes — that is the default, not an option. I test every store on a budget Android device on 3G before launch because that is what a significant share of Dhaka buyers actually use. Pages are kept under a sensible weight, images are compressed properly, and the checkout works even if the connection drops mid-form.

Can you integrate Pathao Courier, Steadfast or RedX so I don't manually re-enter orders?

Yes. The 90,000 BDT tier and above includes a one-click export to whichever courier you use — Pathao Courier for Dhaka Metro speed, Steadfast for nationwide reach, RedX for COD-heavy operations. If your courier has a proper API, I wire it up; if they don't, I build the export in their required CSV format.

Is this WooCommerce, Shopify, or custom?

Default is WooCommerce on a fast managed host — it gives Dhaka sellers full ownership, the lowest running cost, and the most flexibility for bKash, Nagad and local couriers. Shopify is an option if you specifically want it (around 1,50,000 BDT given local payment gateway constraints). Fully custom platforms start from 3,00,000 BDT and only make sense if you have unusual product logic or a very large catalog.

How long until my Dhaka online store is live?

3 to 6 weeks from signed contract and advance payment, depending on tier and how fast we get product data, photos and the bKash merchant account. A focused single-category store is usually 3 weeks; a full brand build with custom design and migration is 5 to 6 weeks. I commit to a delivery date in writing at the start, not an estimate that slips.
