Mobile App Development Expert BD

Most BD founders asking for a "mobile app" don't actually need a 12-lakh native build. They need a fast, installable web app the customer can use without downloading 80 MB on patchy 4G.

I'm RH Fardin, a senior web developer in Bangladesh with around five years building products for local businesses. I personally scope, design and ship every project. For mobile, I build progressive web apps (PWAs), mobile-first web apps and hybrid solutions starting at 50,000 BDT, and I'll tell you straight when your idea actually needs a native iOS/Android build instead.

Solo senior. 50,000 BDT floor. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee — no payment beyond advance until you sign off on the design.

Mobile App Development Expert BD

Mobile App Development Expert in BD Who Won't Sell You What You Don't Need

Half the "mobile app" briefs that land in my inbox describe something a well-built website can do faster, cheaper and with zero install friction. A customer in Sylhet on a 2 GB Robi pack is not downloading a 60 MB APK to check your menu. They will, however, tap a link in WhatsApp, land on a snappy mobile-first page, add it to their home screen, and use it like an app. That's the conversation most BD agencies skip because they want to bill you 8 lakh for native development.

I'm RH Fardin and I've spent about five years building web products for Bangladeshi businesses — boutique stores, B2B suppliers, service brands, startups. My core craft is web, not Swift or Kotlin. That's exactly why I'm useful when you're scoping a mobile project: I have no incentive to push you into the most expensive option. I'll map your actual user journey, tell you whether a PWA, a mobile-optimised web app, a hybrid wrapper or a true native build is right, and quote honestly.

What I personally build and ship: mobile-first websites and web apps from 50,000 BDT, installable PWAs with offline support and push notifications from 90,000 BDT, and full custom web apps with admin panels, dashboards and bKash/Nagad checkout from 1,50,000 BDT. Custom builds with complex backends start at 3,00,000 BDT. Pricing is 50% advance, 50% on launch, and you don't pay anything beyond the advance until you've approved the design.

What I don't pretend to be: a 30-person native app studio. If your project genuinely needs full iOS and Android apps in the App Store and Play Store — say, a ride-hailing product, a real-time logistics tracker, or a fintech app needing native SDKs — I'll scope the spec for you and refer you to native developers I trust in Dhaka. I'll still build your marketing site, web dashboard and admin panel. Honesty over upsell.

What's included

Why founders in BD ask me to scope their mobile project first

Six things you get when you bring me in early instead of signing the first "app development" quote that lands in your inbox.

01

Honest scoping

I'll tell you in the first call whether you need a PWA, a hybrid app or a full native build — and which one I can actually deliver. No fake quotes for work I can't ship.

02

PWAs that install

Installable progressive web apps with offline mode, home-screen icon and push notifications. One codebase, works on every phone, zero Play Store review delays.

03

bKash & Nagad ready

Payment flows tuned for how Bangladeshis actually pay — bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cash on delivery — wired so checkout works on a Xiaomi over flaky 4G, not just on your iPhone.

04

Built for 2G fallback

Every screen tested on throttled mobile data, not just office wifi. Images compressed, scripts lean, first paint under 2 seconds on a mid-range Android.

05

Senior on every call

You speak to me, the person writing the code. No account manager filtering your feedback to a junior who will get pulled to another project next week.

06

Design-approval guarantee

After 50% advance you see the full design. Don't like it? You walk away — I don't ask for the second payment until you've signed off.

PWA vs native app in Bangladesh: what most clients actually need

Here's the conversation I have with almost every BD founder who says "I want a mobile app". The question I ask first: who is your user, what phone are they on, and how will they hear about you? Nine times out of ten the answer is — a customer in Dhaka, Chattogram or a district town, on an entry-to-mid Android (4 GB RAM, limited storage), who'll find you on Facebook or via a friend sharing a WhatsApp link.

That user is not going to the Play Store to download your app. They'll tap the link, and if your site loads fast and looks like an app, they're sold. That is exactly what a PWA does — it installs from the browser with a tap, runs offline, sends push notifications, lives on the home screen with your icon, and weighs a fraction of a native APK.

For 80% of BD use cases — restaurants, boutiques, service bookings, content products, B2B tools, internal dashboards — a PWA is the right answer and costs 1.5 to 3 lakh BDT instead of 8 to 15 lakh BDT for dual-platform native.

When you genuinely need native: deep hardware access (camera processing, Bluetooth peripherals, background GPS for ride-hailing or logistics), App Store distribution as a trust signal for a fintech or large consumer brand, or performance-critical experiences like games and AR. In those cases I won't pretend I'm your native developer. I'll write the product spec, design the screens, build your web admin panel and dashboard, and hand the native build to a developer team I've worked with in Dhaka.

You get an honest expert who shapes the whole product instead of a contractor who quietly outsources the parts they can't do. Either way, the conversation starts the same — call me, describe your idea in plain Bangla or English, and we work out together whether you actually need a native app or whether a sharp mobile-first web product gets you to revenue six months earlier and four lakh taka lighter.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions BD founders ask before hiring a mobile app development expert.

Koto taka? What does a mobile app project actually cost in BD?

Mobile-first web app starts at 50,000 BDT. Installable PWA with offline + push notifications starts at 90,000 BDT. Full custom web app with admin panel and bKash/Nagad checkout starts at 1,50,000 BDT. Bigger custom builds with complex backends start at 3,00,000 BDT. Full dual-platform native iOS + Android usually runs 8–15 lakh BDT in Dhaka — if that's what you need, I'll scope it and refer you to native developers I trust.

What's the difference between a PWA and a native app, and which one do I need?

Native app = downloaded from Play Store / App Store, weighs 20–80 MB, written in Kotlin/Swift, full hardware access. PWA = installed from a browser link, weighs 1–3 MB, works on every phone, no store review needed. For most BD businesses — restaurants, shops, services, content, B2B — a PWA does everything you actually need at a fraction of the cost. If you need deep camera, Bluetooth, background GPS or App Store distribution as a brand signal, you need native. Tell me your use case and I'll be honest about it.

Are you a native iOS and Android developer?

No, and I won't pretend to be. My craft is web — mobile-first websites, PWAs, hybrid apps and web-based products. If your project needs full native, I'll write the spec, design the screens, build your web admin and refer the native build to developers I've worked with in Dhaka. That's a better outcome than letting an agency pretend they can do everything in-house.

Will my PWA work on cheap Android phones over slow data?

Yes — that's actually the whole point. I build for the median BD user: a 4 GB Android on a 2 GB/month Robi or Grameenphone pack. Every screen is tested on throttled 3G, images are aggressively compressed, JavaScript is kept lean, and the first paint targets under 2 seconds on a mid-range device. A native app this size would have already chewed through their storage.

Can my PWA take bKash and Nagad payments?

Yes. I integrate bKash, Nagad, Rocket and cash-on-delivery flows directly into the checkout. The integration uses the official payment gateways and is tuned for mobile — one-thumb friendly, OTP-aware, with a clear retry flow when the network drops mid-payment (which happens more often than agencies pretend it does).

How long from kickoff to launch?

Mobile-first web app or simple PWA: 2–3 weeks. PWA with offline + push + multiple flows: 4–6 weeks. Full custom web app with admin panel and payment integration: 6–10 weeks. I'm one senior developer, so I keep timelines honest — I'd rather quote 6 weeks and ship in 5 than promise 3 and disappear. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch, and you sign off on the design before the second payment is due.
