Mobile App Development in Bangladesh

I design, build and ship mobile apps for Bangladeshi businesses without an agency middle layer. You talk to the same person who writes the code, ships the first build, and pushes the App Store update at 2am when something breaks. Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT.

Solo senior operator, ~5 years shipping web and app products, bKash/Nagad integration handled, design approved before code is written.

About the work

One senior person from idea to App Store

Most Bangladeshi founders who reach me with an app idea have already burned 1,50,000 to 4,00,000 BDT on a half-built app that no one can run, login screens that crash on 4G, and an APK file the previous developer refuses to update. That is the story I hear over and over, from Dhaka SaaS founders to Chattogram retailers trying to launch a delivery app. The problem is almost never the idea. The problem is that an agency assigned three juniors to it, stopped replying after the 50% advance, and quietly killed the project.

I run things differently because I have to. I am one person, so I cannot hide. The scope you agreed to is the scope I build. The wireframes I show you become the screens you tap. The price I quote is the price you pay, split 50% advance and 50% on launch, no surprise invoices for a settings screen that was always in the spec.

For mobile work in Bangladesh, I default to React Native or Flutter unless your app has a genuine reason to be fully native (heavy camera, AR, deep iOS integration). Cross-platform means one codebase for iOS and Android, which is the difference between a 90,000 BDT MVP that ships and a 4,00,000 BDT MVP that doesn't. For the backend I use a clean REST or GraphQL API, hosted in a region close to Bangladesh so a buyer in Sylhet on 4G doesn't wait 6 seconds for the home screen.

Around five years of shipping web and mobile products in this market has taught me what actually breaks: bKash deep links, Android version fragmentation (you will still meet people on Android 9), Play Store review rejections for not declaring SMS permissions correctly, and the truly painful one — buyers who download, look at your sign-up form for three seconds, and uninstall. Every screen I design is built around that three-second window.

What's included

What you get when one person owns the whole app

No project manager, no account executive, no junior shuffle. Just the things that matter when you are trying to launch a mobile product in Bangladesh on a real budget.

01

iOS and Android together

Built in React Native or Flutter so you ship to both stores from one codebase. Half the price, half the build time, no "Android version coming in phase two" excuse.

02

bKash, Nagad, Rocket

Payment gateway integration is included in the scope, not billed as a surprise add-on. I have wired up bKash Tokenized and Nagad Merchant flows enough times to know exactly where they break.

03

Designed for 4G and budget Androids

Most of your users are on a 30,000 BDT Android phone over patchy mobile data. The app is built to feel fast there, not just on the iPhone in your hand at the demo meeting.

04

Design locked before code

You see and approve every screen as a clickable Figma prototype first. No paying for development of a screen you don't actually want — design-approval guarantee means we don't move forward until you say yes.

05

Real App Store submission

I handle the App Store Connect and Google Play Console setup, the privacy manifests, the screenshots, the rejection back-and-forth with Apple. You don't need to learn what a provisioning profile is.

06

Direct line, one human

WhatsApp me at 11pm on a Tuesday and you reach the developer, not a support inbox. When you need a hotfix pushed live, it goes live the same day.

In focus

What actually drives the cost of an app in Bangladesh

When founders ask me "koto taka lagbe ekta app banate?" the honest answer is: it depends entirely on how many backend endpoints your app needs and whether it touches money. A simple content app — login, browse, read, share, push notifications — is the 50,000 to 90,000 BDT range, finished in three to four weeks, shipped to both stores. A real product app — user accounts, bKash payments, order tracking, admin dashboard, push notifications, ratings — sits in the 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 BDT zone and takes six to ten weeks to ship a usable MVP. Anything with custom logistics, multi-vendor flows, video calls, live chat, or AI features is 3,00,000+ BDT custom work.

What does NOT drive cost in 2026: the number of screens (modern UI kits make screens cheap), the platform (cross-platform handles both for one price), or the design polish (good design is faster than bad design, because you build it once). What DOES drive cost: API complexity, third-party integrations (bKash and Nagad each add real engineering hours), admin panels nobody mentions in the first meeting, and ongoing maintenance for OS updates. I will give you a fixed quote in the first conversation, with the scope written down so neither of us argue about it later.

Real questions from founders who messaged me before hiring

Mobile app banate koto taka lage Bangladesh e?

A simple content or directory app starts at 50,000 BDT. A real MVP with bKash payments, user accounts and an admin dashboard is typically 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 BDT. Heavy custom apps (multi-vendor, on-demand, live tracking) start at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is always 50% advance, 50% on launch — no monthly retainer trap.

Will you build both iOS and Android, or just one?

Both, from one codebase, in the same quote. I default to React Native or Flutter so you don't pay twice. The only reason to go fully native is if you genuinely need heavy hardware integration (AR, advanced camera, ARM-level performance). For 90% of Bangladeshi business apps, cross-platform is the right call.

Can you integrate bKash and Nagad in the app?

Yes. I have integrated bKash Tokenized Checkout, bKash PGW, and Nagad Merchant payments inside both web and mobile apps. The merchant accounts and KYC are on you (only you can apply with bKash/Nagad), but the integration, testing on sandbox, and production cutover are part of my scope.

How long until my app is in the Play Store and App Store?

A simple app: three to four weeks. A full MVP with payments and an admin panel: six to ten weeks. The Apple review queue adds three to seven days at the end — that part is outside anyone's control. I handle the actual submission, screenshots, privacy declarations and rejection responses.

I already have an app that another developer left half-finished. Will you take it over?

Sometimes. I will audit the codebase first (small fixed fee, usually 10,000 BDT) and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or whether rebuilding is cheaper than untangling it. I will not pretend a broken codebase is salvageable just to win the job.

Do I need a separate admin dashboard, or can I manage the app from my phone?

You need a web admin dashboard for almost any real app — adding products, viewing orders, replying to users, sending push notifications. I build that as a responsive web panel in the same project so you can use it from a laptop in your office or a phone when you are out. It is included in the MVP-tier price (1,50,000 BDT and up).
