Who you're hiring
Senior freelance web developer, working solo for Chattogram businesses
Here's a pattern I see across the city. A trading firm in Agrabad or a shop owner near GEC wants a proper website and needs a freelance web developer in Chittagong. They ask around and end up hiring an agency in Dhaka, 250km away. The first week is great. Then the developer gets buried under ten other clients, and the demo link breaks.
Your WhatsApp messages get a thumbs-up but no fix. A project that should take five weeks is still limping along after three months. The distance isn't the real problem. The problem is that you hired a funnel, not a developer. There is no single person you can actually hold accountable.
I work the opposite way. The person who replies to your first message also writes your HTML, sets up your hosting and pushes the final build. No account manager in Dhaka forwards your email two days later. No junior in a back room learns on your project.
Say a section of your homepage breaks on a mid-range Android over Chattogram's patchy mobile data. That's on me, and I fix it before you ever see it. You talk directly to the one person responsible for every part of the build.
About 5 years of full-time work has gone into this. I have built marketing sites, lead-gen pages, WordPress and headless builds, and small ecommerce stores. My clients are businesses in Chattogram and a handful of overseas firms. The stack changes per project, but the way I work doesn't.
We start with a short discovery call and a written scope. You approve the design before I write a single line of live code. Then the build lands on the launch date we agreed. The design-approval guarantee means development waits for your sign-off, so what you approve is what goes live.
I take a small number of clients at a time, on purpose. That's the honest trade-off of hiring one person, not an agency. You get real senior attention, not a name on an invoice, but I can't juggle twenty projects at once. Pricing is fixed and public, so the koto taka question gets a straight answer in our first talk.
Tiers are 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT, and custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, and 50% on launch.
