About RH Fardin
A good-looking site and a site that works are not the same thing
Here is the pattern I see across Chattogram. A business pays for a website, it goes live, everyone agrees it looks nice — and then nothing happens. No enquiries, no calls, no messages. The owner assumes the internet just does not work for their trade. Almost always, the real problem is that the site was designed to be looked at, not used. The phone number is buried. There is no WhatsApp button where a Chittagong buyer expects one. It loads slowly on mobile data. Nothing on the page answers the one question the buyer actually has. "Designed" and "effective" got treated as the same word, and they are not.
I am RH Fardin, a solo senior web designer based in Bangladesh. For roughly five years I have designed sites for the kinds of businesses Chattogram runs on — importers and clearing-and-forwarding firms working the port, traders and showrooms along Agrabad and the GEC strip, clinics around Khulshi and Nasirabad, shops selling to customers who pay by bKash and Nagad. Because I do the work alone, website design to me is not a coat of paint over a template. It is a set of deliberate decisions: where the eye goes first, how fast the page appears on a mid-range Android, how few taps it takes to reach you, and what the layout says about whether you are a serious operation.
Every project is me, start to finish. I run the discovery conversation, draw the design, build the front-end, set up the on-page SEO, do the speed pass, and launch it. There is no account manager forwarding your emails and no trainee quietly doing the build behind a logo. That matters most in design, because design is where the cheap shortcuts hide — a recoloured marketplace theme can look fine in a screenshot and still fail the buyer completely on a phone in GEC traffic.
My pricing is honest and fixed at the floor: 50,000 BDT to start, then 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT as scope grows, and fully custom builds from 3,00,000 BDT. I work on 50 percent advance and 50 percent on launch — I will not start without the advance, and the second half is not due until you have signed off on the live site. The design-approval guarantee means I keep refining the visual direction, within scope, until you genuinely agree the design is right. You are not gambling on whether you will like it.
