About the freelancer
You don't have to import a web designer from Dhaka to get a serious one
Here is a pattern I see across Chattogram. A business near Agrabad or off CDA Avenue decides it needs a real website. The owner searches and finds a Dhaka freelancer or an agency with a Gulshan address. They sign. Then the project turns into a long lesson. A freelance web designer in Chittagong should already know this ground, but the Dhaka hire does not.
The owner spends call after call explaining the trade. They clear cargo at the port. Their real buyers are wholesalers in Khatunganj. Half their enquiries come from a supplier in Dubai or Guangzhou who Googles the firm's name at midnight. The designer nods, then ships a plain Dhaka template that gets none of it. The distance is not the problem. The lack of care is.
I am RH Fardin, a freelance web designer who works solo with businesses across Bangladesh. I have about five years of full-time client builds behind me. I treat Chittagong work as top-priority work, not an out-of-town favour. So I learn how you really run before I design a single screen.
Maybe you run import-export or clearing and forwarding around the port. Maybe you supply the RMG and accessories trade. You might sell hardware or electronics on the GEC and Agrabad strips, or run a clinic in Khulshi or Panchlaish. The discovery call, design, build, on-page SEO, speed work and launch are all me. No junior takes over once the advance clears. No white-label partner does the work behind a logo.
Pricing is plain. The freelance floor is 50,000 BDT. That buys a focused, mobile-first business site built around how your Chattogram buyer behaves. 90,000 BDT covers a larger build with a blog, booking or stronger SEO. 1,50,000 BDT is for small ecommerce with bKash, Nagad or SSLCommerz set up properly.
Fully custom work starts at 3,00,000 BDT and is quoted by scope. That covers things like multiple languages for overseas buyers, dashboards, or links to the systems you already use. I charge 50 percent advance to start and 50 percent on launch. You can pay by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer.
The design-approval guarantee matters most when you hire someone you don't sit across a desk from. You see and approve the design direction before I write the real code. You don't pay the final 50 percent until you sign off on the live site. Here, the common fear is paying an advance to a remote freelancer who then goes quiet. My setup is on purpose. It keeps the risk on me, where it belongs. It also forces me to get your brief right instead of rushing through a template.
